GoldStar machining was founded in 2010 and headquartered in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province,

China. We now have nearly 50,00sqm factory floor and more than 170 employees. As a professional

manufacturing factory, we mainly focus on precision parts machining.

The parts we machined are related to various industries including machinery, jig, fixture and tooling

automation, automotive, electronics, medical components. And these parts are shipped globally. Our

company equips advanced imported precision machines and QA inspection instruments to meet global

industry standards. We currently have five factories in Dongguan city, China and have offices in

Dongguan, Hong Kong, Japan and soon to include more.

Our team brought its expertise to the table - with CNC turning and milling,

including facing, outer diameter turning, and a rough and finished bore with a

stepped inner diameter turning. Our skilled machinists performed all of the

countersinking, and tapping. our broad array of capabilities skills allowed us to

make the best machined components possible, with the precision our customers

expect from us.

Our CNC vertical mill was fully employed for this piece. With milling and drilling,

and also mill profiles on the inner diameter, this work was truly fine. And our

countersinking, tapping, and boring milled everything just right. Made of 345c

material and with a chrome plating finish, followed by standard dimensional

inspection.

Project :

1.Rough Machining

During rough machining the main purpose is to remove as much material in as little time as

possible. The tool steel has not been hardened so that the cutters can take away material

quickly. In this step we are not machining any small details.

2. Heat Treatment (Hardening)

Before we start machining the fine details , we harden the material. Heat treating of tool

steel is a sophisticated metallurgical process using a combination of controlled heating

close to the melting point, case hardening (multiple heating cycles at reduced temperatures),

quenching in an oil bath, and cryogenic hardening using liquid nitrogen. Afterwards the

material looks a bit rough . Now that hardening is done we can move on to Grinding and

CNC machining.

3.Fine Machining

After rough machining, heat treatment and Grinding, the parts will be transferred to the next

CNC machining center for fine machining, using complex computer programming and

modern cutting tools to get fine details. Once the machining is done, the tool steel needs to

be EDM.

4.Electric Discharge Machining (EDM)

The parts required extensive use of EDM. Electrodes for the EDM machine are custom

made for those components. In this case, EDM allows for more precise corner radii than

CNC machining. Next step we need to do wire cutting for the details.

5.It is then thoroughly inspected to the customer’s specification before shipped to customer.

The first plant of Gold star have significant with the round parts, as a contract

manufacture, we produce a wide range of parts of varying size and shape.

The Second plant are good at the round parts, eccentric features parts.

The Third plant excel at the precision CNC machining and the CNC milling parts.

The Sixth plant have the ability to produce shapes like squares, hexes, ellipses, cam

profiles, and eccentric features on both the OD and ID of a part, especially for the

precision parts.

The Headquarter can take nearly any form parts. It requires creativity and ingenuity on

Today, Goldstar employs over 170 people at its five plants all in close proximity in Changan town

in Dongguan city, China. One plant mainly manufacturing turning parts, one plant mainly

manufacturing milling components, other three plants specialize in precision CNC machining,

turning, milling, EDM, wire cutting, Grinding, TIG welding, having the ability to produce shapes
