    Creating a Good Blog

    1. Your blog is to show your ability in using different media so for each post try to use a

different media format eg Prezzi, slide share, embedded films, tumblr, Pinterest (or other

mood board applications), sound cloud, links to articles, podcasts, pie charts/graphs to

break down audience feedback or analysis etc

    2. Any work you add to your blog from an external source, for example a link to an article or afilm that is embedded, should be discussed eg how has it influenced you, what you

    like/dislike about it etc

    3. Your blog should be biased towards 65% visuals and 35% writing.

    4. Each post should have a title that clearly outlines what it is about so it is easy for the

examiner to follow. In most cases it should be the same title as the schools blog.

    5. 20% is awarded for research, 60% for the opening title sequence, 20% for your answers

concerning questions on Evaluation. All this information will go on your blog.

    6. Posts we do for coursework will overlap with your exam work. When a post relates to exam

work I will write on it that you will need to print out the information so it can be added to

    your exam folders.

    7.

It is essential to create a post that shows how your research has influenced your finalopening title sequence.

    8. Word docs cant be used in blogger it is best to make files in Jpeg format or scan your word

    docs (scanner in edit suite).

    9. The majority of the work you do for your blog will be in groups of four. It is essentialwith all

group work that you put on your blog that you specify your role so the examiner can grade

    you accordingly.

10.Copying of students work is an extremely serious offence and marks will be heavily deducted

should this occur or possible removal from course.

11.Use evidence throughout blog of the process you are going through (photos, screen grabs,

scans of group meeting notes etc), analyse the process throughout, what are you learning?

What are you finding difficult? How can you improve?12.Everything you embed eg links and videos, must be referred to and summarized how have

    they helped inform you?
