Hilliard  2015     What is the Good Tidings Christmas Store? A Holiday gift store that helps families in the Hilliard School District, who could not otherwise afford gifts for their children this holiday season. What is the Purpose? To give parents and guardians with limited income a way to Christmas shop for the children in their lives at a VERY low cost, in a very respect-filled way. It is our goal to provide NEW toys at drastically reduced prices for children 1-18yrs. How do families make a reservation to shop? Families fill out a “Reservation Form” and return it by December 4th, 2015, dropping it off or mailing it to: The Good Tidings Christmas Store 4066 Main Street Hilliard, OH 43026. Families whose children attend Hilliard Schools and receive a free/reduced lunch will be prioritized. Once the reservation form is received, families will be contacted by phone with the date and time of their shopping reservation. If toys are donated why is there a charge? This is a dignity store and offers families in our community a respect-filled “hand up” vs. a “hand out”. All sales generated go to purchase additional toys, enabling more families to shop. Shoppers become donors - together we can serve more families! How can I help? We are seeking NEW toy donations, NEW wrapping supplies, gift cards to stores where we can purchase toys (Wal-Mart, Target) and volunteers. We partner with churches, families, local businesses and other organizations to provide NEW toys/presents for 1-18 year old children in the $15 and up price range. Please see our “Wish List and Giving Guidelines”. Where do I drop off gifts? Gift Drop off Dates: Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm. Tuesdays 6:30pm-8pm at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 4066 Main Street, Hilliard. If you cannot possibly make these times, call Irma at 614-560-6190. Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers opportunities are available NOW through December 13th as we prepare for and run the Store.
