La Passion nous rend intense, nous donnes de la force et du courage. La passion nous mène à faire des choses que ceux qui nous entourent ne comprennent pas toujours. C’est cette même passion qui a conduit Jésus à la souffrance pour le pardon des péchés de l’humanité. Son Parcours n’a pas été sans contreverses. Plusieurs ont doutés ses actions, d’autres ses intentions et ce le plus souvent par manque de compréhension de sa mission et du plan parfait de Dieu pour l’humanité.

L’article qui relatait le dernier concert de James Hall a suscité plusieurs vives réactions. Certains ont même suggérés que peut être le magazine ne devrait pas couvrir de tel événements. A tout cela je ne ferai que faire référence à Luc 8 :16-17 : « Personne, après avoir allumé une lampe, ne la couvre d’un vase, ou ne la met sous un lit ; mais il la met sur un chandelier, afin que ceux qui entrent voient la lumière. Car il n’est rien de caché qui ne doive être décou-vert, rien de secret qui ne doive être connu et mis au jour. »

La quête de l’excellence doit être notre but ultime dans toutes nos entreprises et ceux qui ont parcourus le chemin aupa-ravant doivent nous servir d’exemple. Mais comment apprendre du passé si celui-ci ne nous est pas exposé ? Appre-nons de nos erreurs et construisons sur les bonnes choses qui ont été faites. Vi-vons avec cette passion de l’esprit, cette même passion qui animait Jésus et qui lui a permit d’accomplir des choses au-delà de l’imagination.

Passion makes you intense, it gives you strength and courage.

It is passion that makes you do things that often others don’t understand or misinterpret. It was passion that led Jesus to do the things He did and the reason why he chose to die for our salvation. His journey was not without controversy. Many people doubted his actions and questioned his motives ; it was often because they were not able to fully grasp Jesus’ mission and God’s perfect plan for humankind.

There were a lot of reactions from the coverage of the James Hall concert in our previous issue. Some stated that maybe we should not have mentioned it. I will simply respond to that with Luke 8:16-17 : “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.”

We all need to aim for excellence in everything we do and learn from what has happened before, but how can we learn from the past if it is hidden from us? Let’s learn from the bad things and not forget to also build on the good things too. Let us live with a spiritual passion, a Christ-like passion that will push us to do things beyond human comprehension.

REX VERZOSA :LE PROTÉGÉ DE DIEU

GOD’S BELOVEDRex Verzosa is an extremely talented singer ; all of those who have worked close to him can testify to that fact. He is a member of the Jireh Gospel Choir and this year he has been establishing his solo career. The beauty of his talent is not limited to his voice but extends also to his personality and to a poignant testimony that he is always ready to share with those around him.

His was born in the Philippines. He does not know his real birth date or his natural parents. The birth date he celebrates today (July 13th, 1976) is the date the Verzosa family found him, as a baby, abandoned in their yard. The Verzosa family welcomed him in and raised him in a Christian environment. It was there that he developed a solid Christian foundation and his interest for singing, strongly influenced by his adopted father. In 1996, Rex moved to Montreal and was quickly recruited by the Jireh Gospel choir. He continued to compose, sing and play music to glorify God. When asked if he will leave his current location to continue his career, he answer is a resounding no. Rex strongly feels that God has called him to stay here so he could share his testimony : “I don’t want to go to a place where everything is easy, we have to go where there is darkness so we could bring light. This is especially true for me since I received the light at a time when I really needed it.”

Rex Verzosa est un jeune chanteur extrêmement talenteux.Tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de travailler avec lui reconnaissent son grand talent. Il est choriste dans la chorale Jireh et cette année il commence sa carrière solo. Son talent ne s’arrête pas à la qualité de sa voix mais à cette dernière s’ajoute une belle personnalité et surtout un témoignage poignant qu’il tient toujours à partager avec tous ceux qui ont la chance d’être en sa présence.

Rex est d’origine Philipienne. Il ne connait pas sa véritable date de naissance. Il ne connait pas ses parents biologiques. La date de naissance (13/07/1976) qu’il célèbre aujourd’hui est la date à laquelle la famille Verzosa, l’a recceuilli, bébé, abandonné dans leur cour. La famille Verzosa est une famille chrétienne qui l’a toujours éduqué selon les bonnes valeurs chrétiennes. Au sein de cette famille il a su clairement déveloper un processus spirituel solide ainsi que son intérêt pour le chant, fortement influencé par son père adoptif. En 1996 lorsqu’il émigre à Montréal, il est rapidement recruté par la chorale Jireh. Comme toujours, il compose, interprète et joue de la musique pour glorifier Dieu. Lorsque l’on lui demande s’il compte quitter le Canada afin de parfaire sa carrière en musique, il répond un “Non’’ catégorique. Selon lui, le Seigneur l’appelle à rester ici afin qu’il partage son témoignage: “ Je ne veux pas aller à une place où tout fonctionne au contraire, il faut rester où tout est sombre afin d’éclairer ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres. Surtout lorsque moi-même j’ai bénéficié d’une lumière à une période où j’étais dans le néant.’’

TABITHA LEMAIRE :LA VOIX D’ANGE

DU QUÉBEC

After she left Quebec, many wondered what was happening with Tabitha Lemaire. No need to worry, Tabitha, Quebec’s own Christian singer, is doing fine. She started singing at the age of 5, as singing was her gift and she has always had the support and encouragement of her family. Her first album untitled “Juste au bon moment” (Just at the right time), released in April 2001 was a great success worldwide in the French community. The promotion of the album allowed her to travel to Europe and the Caribbean. All her road trips have strengthened her convictions for a universal mission and have renewed her desire to share her gift to bless every nation. Armed with her new testimony she moved to Kelowna, British Columbia, with her husband and her 2 children for 2 years. There she produced, in September 2003, an English album entitled, “Prayer and Intimacy.” 2004 will be another wonderful year for Tabitha ; she is taking time to compose music and in the spring will tour the world. Look out for her new album entitled “Toi qui règne” (He who reigns).

Après son départ du Québec, plusieurs se demandaient ce qui était advenu de Tabitha Lemaire. Nul besoin de s’inquiéter, elle va très bien. Tabitha Lemaire est une chanteuse chrétienne Québécoise. Elle est issue d’une fervente famille chrétienne l’ayant toujours encouragé positivement dans le domaine du chant. Tabitha fait ses débuts dès l’âge de 5 ans; chanter est un don inné en elle. Son premier album, Juste au bon moment, paru en avril 2001, fut un succès grandiose dans le monde fran-cophone. Elle a voyagé en Europe et aux Caraïbes pour présenter cet album. Ces voyages lui ont permis de solidifer ses convictions pour accomplir une mission uni-verselle. Tabitha est convaincue que Dieu a investit en elle le talent de la musique afin qu’elle puisse bénir les autres peuples. Plus que jamais, elle sait que Dieu l’appelle à un ministère de chant et de mission. Sans tarder, son mari, ses deux enfants et elle déménagent à Kelowna, en Comlombie-Britannique, pour une période de 2 ans. Elle y produit un album de dévotion intitulé “Prayers & Intimicy’’ (Prières et intimité), paru en septembre 2003.

L’année 2004 est une année charnière de production où elle prend le temps de se concentrer pour composer de la musique. Au printemps, elle fera plusieurs tournées au Québec, à la Martinique et en Guadeloupe. De plus, durant cette même période, paraîtra son nouvel album intitulé : Toi qui règnes.

FROM SLAVERY TO FREEDOM

With a theme related to Black History Month, Centre Evangelique church

held a free concert entitled, “From Slavery to Freedom.” Two female groups started the evening: Bliss, a female quartet from the church and Sixteen, whose performances has blessed many of us for years. Olivier Cheuwa followed, self-accompanied on his guitar, performing gospel songs with a rhythm and blues flavour. The night concluded with La Chorale de la Prophetie, who brought the crowd on a spiritual journey that included an African song and a riveting worship song to end the evening. Look for their CD project, which will be released this fall.-Donald Odige

4EVER IN CONCERT

On March 14th at Le Cabaret du Lion D’or, the group 4ver United held their

first concert. The venue was small and inti-mate, with a table and chair setting and was well suited for the group’s performance. The female group, Endeavour, started the evening with good renditions of some popular modern gospel songs. 4ever United performed some original compositions and also did remixes and medeys of other gospel songs. They showed their creativity by adding excellent audio effects in their rendition of the song “The Blood”, originally by James Hall. 4ever United is currently working on a demo project.

4EVER EN CONCERT

Le 14 mars dernier, le groupe 4ever United a tenu son premier concert au Cabaret

du Lion D’or. La salle où se déroulait le concert était petite et intime et se prêtait bien au style des groupes en présence. Le groupe féminin Endeavour assurait la première partie du concert en chantant quelques chansons du répertoire gospel moderne. Le groupe 4ever United a performé un mélange de compositions originales et des réarrangements. À souligné quelques effets sonores qui furent biens utilisés notamment dans la chanson “The Blood” originalement interprété par James Hall. Le groupe travail présentement sur un projet d’album démo.- Donald Odige

DE L’ESCLAVAGE À LA LIBERTÉ

Dans le cadre du mois de l’histoire des noirs, l’église du Centre Évangélique

a présenté un concert gratuit intitulé de l’esclave a la liberté. La soirée a débuté par deux groupes exclusivement féminin : Bliss, un quatuor du Centre Évangélique et le groupe Sixteen dont les performances en ont bénis plusieurs au cours des dernières an-nées. Olivier Cheuwa a suivi, s’accompagnant de sa guitare, avec ses compositions gospel à saveur rhythm and blues. La soirée s’est conclu avec la Chorale de la Prophétie qui, par leurs chants, a amené le public dans un pèlerinage spirituel qui incluait une chanson africaine ainsi qu’une touchante chanson de louange pour terminer le concert. Surveillez la sortie prochaine de l’album de la Chorale de la Prophétie prévue pour cet automne.- Donald Odige

SOPHIA CAMPBELLCeux qui étaient présents au concert de Sophia Campbell le 24 Avril 2004 pourront affirmer sans hésitations qu’un agréable sentiment d’intimité découlait de cet événe-ment. À en juger par le contenu de la soirée, les organisateurs semblaient avoir pour but second d’offrir un divertissement en guise de remerciement à la communauté anglophone qui l’a supporté. Des artistes reconnus de la communauté adventiste anglophone étaient au rendez-vous; on a pu y compter notamment Endeveaour et la chorale Perpetual Praise, qui ont livré tour à tour un message de joie et d’inspiration.

La performance de Sophia atteignait presque la perfection. Il était évident que l’on faisait face à une chanteuse qui n’a point peur de la scène ni de chanter ce qu’elle ressent pour Dieu. Les chansons furent extrêmement inspirantes, et bon nombre d’entre elles relataient de nombreuses expériences de sa vie. Il va sans dire que l’équipe de gens responsable de la composition et l’arrangement de ces chansons ont fait un très bon travail. Le seul petit problème, qui demeure malheureusement une habitude dans la majorité des concerts Gospel, se trouve à être la qualité sonore. Le message d’un artiste a beau être des plus inspirants, la qualité du son joue ultimement un rôle primordial à la réception de ce message par le public.- Alain-Pierre Eloi

SOPHIA CAMPBELLThose who were in attendance at Sophia Campbell’s concert on April 24th, could testify that there was a feeling of intimacy throughout this event. Upon reflection of the night’s schedule of events, it seems that the promoters’ second goal, was to offer entertainment to the English community that has supported them. Well-known artists in the local English Adventist community were part of the concert; amongst them were Endeavour and Perpetual Praise Choir who each delivered a message of joy and inspiration. Sophia’s performance was near perfection. It was obvious that she was not intimidated by being on stage and that she was not shy to express her love for the Almighty God. The songs were highly inspirational and many of them were drawn from personal experience. The composers and arrangers of the songs did an excellent job. The only problem, which also occurs in many concerts, was pertaining to the quality of the sound. The messages of an artist can be amazingly moving but if the sound is not conveyed properly to the audience, the message may not get through.

Fred Hammond in TorontoFred Hammond gave a spiritually filled perfor-mance in Toronto on March 2nd to a packed crowd at the Canada Christian College as part of his Worship Alive Tour. The first act of the night was the DC-based group, 7 sons of Soul. Fred, accompanied by a 6-piece band and 4 vocals, blessed the crowd with some new songs from his upcoming album. The Crowd stayed on their feet for most of the concert as Fred performed songs from his rich repertoire of spiritually filled hit songs. Fred came dressed in urban wear for his Ca-nadian visit, wearing a sport jersey, matching cap and sneakers. The Detroit minister de-livered a powerful set all through the evening and his encore performance, a medley of his most acclaimed songs, were a perfect fit for a marvellous gospel experience. At the end of the concert 500 CDs containing snippets of Fred new upcoming album were distributed to the crowd.- Donald Odige

Fred Hammond à Toronto

Fred Hammond a donné une performance remplie d’onction le 2 Mars dernier

devant un public de près de 1700 personnes au Canada Christian College à Toronto dans le cadre de sa tournée Worship Alive Tour. Accompagné de 6 musiciens et 4 vocalistes il a présenté à la foule quelques unes des nouvelles chansons qui paraîtront sur son nouvel album. La foule est pratiquement restée debout tout au long du concert alors que Fred Hammond puisait dans son riche répertoire de chanson. Pour sa venue en sol canadien, il fut simplement vêtus en style urbain; un long chandail sportif, une casquette et des espadrilles assorties. Les chants se sont parfaitement enchaînés l’un après l’autre et lors du rappel, le medley de ses vieux succès qu’il a interprété a été un complément parfait a ce qui s’est avéré une expérience gospel exceptionnelle. La première partie a été assurée par un groupe de Washington nommé 7 Sons of Soul. The Love Triangle Foundation presented Young, Gifted and Black, February 14th

at the Oscar Peterson Hall. This organisa-tion is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and awareness programs through education and entertain-ment. The night featured a variety of local talents. There were solos, choirs, rap, reggae, spoken word, tap-dancing, African dancing, stepping, and instrumental performances. It was a beautiful display of talent from the Montreal youth. Rev. Darryl Gray and Malik Shaheed hosted the evening’s program. Hats off to the Love Triangle Foundation for this annual event. Young Gifted and Black

Le concert de variété intitulé ‘Young, gifted and black’ (Jeunes,doués et noirs)

fut présenté le 14 février dernier à la salle Oscar Peterson par la fondation Love Triangle. La fondation est un organisme à but non lucratif qui est dédié à la promotion de la diversité culturel et de programme de sensibilisation au travers de l’éducation et du divertissement. La soirée mettait en vedette une pléiade de talents locaux. On a eu droit a des performance vocales solo et de groupe, du rap, du reggae, des poèmes, de la cla-quette, de la danse moderne et africaine et des performances instrumentales. Ce fut une belle démonstration de talents locaux. Les maîtres de soirée furent le rev. Darryl Gray et Malik Shaheed. Chapeau bas à la fondation Love Triangle pour cet événement qui se veut annuel. Do You Know Him ?

Le connais-tu ?

Il était une fois un acteur de pièces au style Shakespearienne qui était reconnu partout pour son spectacle solo où il lisait et interprétait des classiques populaires. Il terminait toujours ses performances avec une dramatique interprétation du Psaume 23. Chaque soir, sans exception, l’acteur récitait « L’Éternel est mon berger, je ne manquerai de rien… ». La foule écoutait attentivement et, à la fin de l’interprétation, l’acteur recevait une ovation retentissante de la foule pour son incroyable habileté à donner vie au passage.

Un soir, juste avant la traditionnelle dernière interpré-tation du Psaume 23 de l’acteur, un jeune homme de l’assistance se leva et demanda : « Monsieur, Pourrais-je ce soir, interpréter le Psaume 23 ? »

L’acteur fut quelque peu surpris par cette demande inhabituelle mais acquiesça à la demande du jeune homme, sachant pertinemment que son talent ne pourrait pas être égalé par quiconque.

Avec une douce voix, le jeune homme récita les mots du Psaume. Lorsqu’il termina il n’y eu aucun applaudissement, il n’y eu aucune ovation debout com-me les soirs précédents. Le seul son que l’on pouvait entendre dans la salle fut celui des sanglots. La foule fut tellement émue par la performance du jeune homme que des larmes coulaient dans les yeux de tous.

Étonné par ce qu’il avait entendu, l’acteur dit au jeune homme : « Je ne comprends pas, j’ai performé le Psaume 23 durant des années. Je possède toute une vie d’expérience et d’entraînement mais je n’ai jamais pu toucher l’auditoire comme vous l’avez fait ce soir. Dites-moi quel est votre secret ? »

Le jeune homme lui répondit humblement : « Hé bien Monsieur, vous vous connaissez le Psaume …mais moi je connais le Berger » - Auteur Inconnu

There was once a Shakespearean actor who was known everywhere for his one-man show of read-ings and recitations from the classics. He would al-ways end his performance with a dramatic reading of Psalm 23. Each night, without exception, as the actor began his recitation - “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want...” - the crowd would listen attentively. And then, at the conclusion of the psalm, they would rise in thunderous applause in appreciation of the actor’s incredible ability to bring the verse to life.

But one night, just before the actor was to offer his customary recital of Psalm 23, a young man from the audience spoke up. “Sir do you mind if tonight I recite Psalm 23?”

The actor was quite taken back by this unusual request, but he allowed the young man to come forward and stand front and center on the stage to recite the psalm, knowing that the ability of this unskilled youth would be no match for his own talent.

With a soft voice, the young man began to recite the words of the psalm. When he was finished, there was no applause. There was no standing ovation as on other nights. All that could be heard was the sound of weep-ing. The audience had been so moved by the young man’s recitation that every eye was full of tears.

Amazed by what he had heard, the actor said to the youth, “I don’t understand. I have been performing Psalm 23 for years. I have a lifetime of experience and training - but I have never been able to move an audience as you have tonight. Tell me, what is your secret ?”

The young man humbly replied, “Well sir, you know the psalm... but I know the Shepherd.”

LA PASSIONLa passion du Christ raconte les 12 dernières heures de la vie de Jésus Christ. En effet, le film commence dans le jardin des monts Olive à Gethsémanie où l’on voit Jésus Christ entrain de prier, juste avant son arrestation, pour se terminer à sa mort sur la croix. Le mot passion vient du latin et veut dire souffrances mais également un amour profond et transcendant. Le film est écrit en araméen pour les person-nages Juifs, incluant le personnage de Jésus Christ et en latin courant (« latin parlé ») pour les personnages romains. C’est un film avec beaucoup d’intensité et d’émotions. Par contre, attendez-vous à des scènes de violence qui peuvent ébranler certains. Même si l’histoire est connue de la plupart des gens, il est difficile de rester indifférent à la souffrance de Jésus. La passion du

Christ reste un film bouleversant, qui nous émeut profondément. Quelques larmes seront verser pour les plus sensibles. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Jésus Christ, l’histoire peut paraître incompréhensible. Il serait fortement conseillé d’être accompagné de quelqu’un qui connaît l’histoire pour l’expliquer.

Que représente le film pour nous chrétiens ?

« Car Dieu a tant aimé le monde qu’il a donné son Fils unique, afin que qui-conque croit en lui ne périsse point, mais qu’il ait la vie éternelle. » (Version Louis Second, Jean 3 : 16)

La passion du Christ est plus qu’un film. C’est la base de notre foi. L’essence même de notre identité chrétienne. C’est la racine de ce que nous croyons

et en qui nous croyons. Qu’importe les dénominations auxquelles nous apparte-nons, Jésus Christ nous unis à la base. Jean 3 : 16 est probablement le verset qui défini le mieux, l’étendue de l’amour de Dieu envers nous. « Il a donné son fils unique… » Ce n’est pas juste une histoire que Mel Gibson nous raconte. C’est une réalité, une vérité qui est et vit dans nos cœurs. Ce Jésus que l’on voit porté la croix pour nos péchés est le même avec qui l’on entretient une relation privilégiée. C’est quelqu’un que l’on aime profondément et sincèrement Ce que Mel Gibson a réalisé est bien plus qu’une œuvre d’art. Il a mis des images à des mots qui est écrit dans un livre authentique : la bible. Les scènes violentes du film sont pour nous une réalité des souffrances que Jésus Christ a vécues. Chaque image vaut mille mots. Chaque heure a une raison d’être. Tout au long de la progression du film nos yeux découvrent à travers les images l’immensité de son amour envers nous. Chaque coup porté est le témoignage du prix payé pour nos péchés, les mien et les vôtres. Ceci n’est pas une histoire. Bien au contraire, c’est une réalité dans le cœur de bien des gens. Regarder la passion du Christ pour nous chrétien est une expérience spirituelle. Mel Gibson a réalisé des images d’une ex-trême violence pour nous confronter à cette vérité, que l’on connaît pour certains, qu’on ne veut pas voir ou com-prendre pour d’autres.

• Mel Gibson a demandé l’Aide de Caleb Deschanel (cinématographe-Le Patriot) pour que le film ressemble aux peintures de Caravaggio, un artiste italien à l’époque Baroque.

• 40% du film est tourné de nuit.

• Les recherches de Mel Gibson pour la création de ce film ont commencé, il y a plus de 12 ans. À ce moment là, Mel Gibson vivait une crise spirituelle ce qui l’a amené à réexaminer sa foi.

• La langue araméenne était utilisée de l’Asie au Pakistan. De plus, c’était la langue première de plusieurs empires tels que l’Assyrie et la Babylone.

• La langue araméenne est proche de l’hébreu. Aujourd’hui, l’Araméen est considéré comme une langue morte, très peu de personnes l’utilisent.

• La passion du Christ a été filmée en Italie, plus particulièrement à Matera et Cicecitta studios.

THE PASSIONThe Passion of Christ details the last 12 hours of Jesus’ life. The movie starts on the Mount of Olives, in the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus praying just before his arrest and ends at the cruci-fixion. The word passion originates from the Latin language and means sufferance but it also means a deep and transcend-ing love. The film was written in Ara-maic for the Jewish characters including Jesus Christ and in spoken Latin for the Romans. It is a movie with a lot of inten-sity and emotions, be prepared to see vivid violence that might be unsettling. Even if the story is known by most, it is hard to remain stoic when watching Jesus suffer. The Passion of Christ is an upsetting and moving experience in which very sensitive individuals are sure to shed some tears. For those who do not know the full story of Je-sus, the movie might be hard to grasp and understand, in such a case it would be beneficial to be accompanied by someone who could fill in the blanks.

What is the meaning of this film for Christians?

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, KJV).

The Passion of Christ is not just a movie; it portrays the foundation of our faith and the essence of our Christian identity. It tells the roots of our beliefs

and in whom we believe. Whatever our denominations might be; Jesus should be the common link that unites us all. John 3:16 is probably the Bible verse that best defines the magnitude of God’s love for humanity. “...He gave His only son...” It is not just a story that Mel Gibson is telling, it is a reality, a truth that resides and lives in our hearts. The Jesus we see being nailed to the cross for our sins is the same with whom we have a privileged relationship, it is someone we love deeply and sincerely. What Mel Gibson produced is more than a work of art, he put into imagery the word of an authentic book: the Bible. The vio-lent scenes in the movie are for us, they depict the reality of the suffering of Jesus Christ. Each scene equates to more than a thousand words and each hour has it’s own importance. As the film progresses,

we witness the immensity of His love for us. Each and every hurting blow He receives is a testimony of the price He paid for our iniquities, yours and mine. It is more than just a story it is a reality in the hearts of many people. This film is a spiritual experience for Christians. Mel Gibson filmed scenes with extreme and vivid violence to confront us with a truth, a truth that some know and others choose or prefer to ignore.

•The Passion of Christ was filmed in Italy, specifically in the Matera and Cicetta studios.

• 40% of the movie was filmed at night.

•Mel Gibson started research for the movie more than 12 years ago. At the time he was going through a spiritual crisis that forced him to re-examine his faith.

• The Aramaic language was used from Pakistan to Asia. It was the very first language of many empires like Assyria and Babylon. The Aramaic language is very similar to Hebrew. Today Aramaic is considered an old ancestral language and is used by very few people. Most of the actors learned the Aramaic

language phonetically.

• Jim Caviezel, the actor who plays Jesus, is a devout Catholic. For his role, he used his religious beliefs along with prayers to deeply explore the character, the words and the suffering that Jesus went through.

•A woman named Rosalinda Calantano played the character of Satan, as Gibson wanted to create an androgynous figure that could transform into many forms and spread fear and doubts. To do so the actress had to shave her eyebrows to create a hypnotic effect. A slow mo-tion effect to her movement was added to create an unreal effect. A male voice was also added to her voice to create confusion around the character.
