MOMMY WHERE IS MY DAD?
Children’s Book December 2012
Written by, Kimberly S. Barnett
Families need a mother and a father for good mental health
development. When one parent is missing, a child often tends
not to get what it is they need to emotionally grow. As young
boys grow into young men, they look towards their father or a
male role model to give them guidance.
Mommy Where Is My Dad? Tells how one mother explains the
absence of Brandon’s dad.

KELVIN REDDICK, M. Ed., MBA
The Shepherd’ Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want,
He maketh me to lie down in green
pastures; he leadeth me beside the still
waters. He restoreth my soul; He
leadeth me in the path of righteousness
for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies; thou
anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over. Surely goodness and
mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life; and I will dwell in the house of the
Lord for ever…. Psalm23:1-6

Carey O’ Neal Sanders, song and guitarmaster has never given up the desire to gethis message of God’s love to an interna-tional audience. He is a life-long lover ofgood gospel music of the “quartet style.”He is truly a quartet singer from his heart. In these modern times when the original-ity of the “quartet sound” has given way tothe contemporary sounds of praise andworship and holy hip-hop - and since manyof the original good old quartet singingboys have passed on into eternity, Careydecided that while he is yet alive to main-tain the integrity of this glorious art formin its purest originality.

L-ma King known to many
as the singing John the
Baptist, continue to share
the songs on her latest
album-Now is the Time with
the world as she sings about
the coming of the Second
Advent of our Lord. She’s
working now on a new single
title, “True Parents”, soon to
be released as a single
digital down-load. Please
stay tuned to the website
below for availability.
Recently, God has placed it
on my heart to give you
words for the NOW.
REPENT, for the Kingdom
of Heaven is at hand!! The
Great and terrible day of our
Lord is at hand. History is a
mirror of the future, as well
as a witness for the past. If
we don’t learn from history,
we are very likely to repeat
it. 2000 years ago the Jews
were waiting for the second
return of Elijah to come on
the CLOUDS before the
Great and Terrible day of the
Lord. Malachi 4:5 -And he
will turn the hearts of the
father to their children…
They saw him ascend into
Heaven with their physical
eyes 2nd King 2:11. A
scripture that seems to
support their belief was
Daniel 7:13… one like the
son of man came with
Clouds of Heaven. Before
they could witness with their
physical eyes, the second
return of Elijah, there was
talks of Jesus being the Son
of Man spreading over the
land. John 1:19- They were
in disbelief. God had kept
His promise and sent them
Elijah, but he came on the
SPIRITUAL CLOUD of John
The Baptist. Luke 1:17, an
angle told John’s father that
his son would go before the
Lord in the spirit and power
of Elijah to turn the hearts
of the fathers to their
children… This means that
Elijah is in the spirit world
working with John the
Baptist on earth to fulfill the
same MISSION, making the
way straight for the Lord.
Isaiah 40:3 and John 1:23.
Our Lord Jesus was on the
earth for 33 years living
among the Jews, yet they
never RECONGIZED Him.
They were glued to the letter
of the law, and missed the
spirit of the law. They didn’t
do God’s will which was to
recognize, believe, and
follow the one God had sent.
2000 years later, we as
Christians are looking up to
the physical CLOUDS for
the second coming of our
Lord Jesus, are we not?
Jesus came to bring the
Kingdom of Heaven on
earth. However, because
His own people didn’t
recognize Him; they ended
up rejecting Him. John
18:36 Jesus talked about
His Kingdom not being of
this world. His three
disciples didn’t fight to keep
Him from being handed over
to the Jews. The gates to
the Kingdom were closed.
Jesus had to return. Read:
Act 2:23, 1st Thessalonians
2:15, Zachariah 12:14.1935
God sent the second return
of our Lord. Rev. Sun Moon
returns as a Bridegroom
before the Great and
Terrible day on the
SPIRITUAL CLOUD of

This is a true story and theauthor, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prisonministry.
The man who walks with Godalways gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you havea purpose.
The Muslim religion is thefastest growing religion percapita in the United States, especially in the minorityraces!
Last month I attended myannual training session that’srequired for maintaining mystate prison security clearance.
During the training sessionthere was a presentation bythree speakers representingthe Roman Catholic,Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained theirbeliefs.
I was particularly interested inwhat the Islamic had to say.
The Muslim gave a greatpresentation of the basics ofIslam, complete with a video.
After the presentations, timewas provided for questionsand answers.
When it was my turn, Idirected my question to theMuslim and ask: Please,
correct me if I’m wrong, but Iunderstand that most Imamsand clerics of Islam havedeclared a holy jihad [Holywar] against the infidels of theworld and, that by killing aninfidel, (which is a commandto all Muslims) they areassured of a place in heaven.
If that’s the case, can you giveme the definition of aninfidel?’
There was no disagreementwith my statements and, without hesitation, he replied,‘Non-believers!’
I responded, ‘So, let me makesure I have this straight. Allfollowers of Allah have beencommanded to kill everyonewho is not of your faith so theycan have a place in heaven. Isthat correct?’
The expression on his facechanged from one of authorityand command to that of a littleboy who had just been caughtwith his hand in the cookiejar.’ He sheepishly replied,‘Yes.’
I then stated, ‘Well, sir, I havea real problem trying toimagine The Popecommanding all Catholics tokill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering allProtestants to do the same inorder to guarantee them aplace in heaven! The Muslim
was speechless!
I continued, ‘I also have aproblem with being yourfriend when you and yourbrother clerics are telling yourfollowers to kill me! Let meask you a question:
Would you rather have yourAllah, who tells you to kill mein order for you to go toheaven, or my Jesus who tellsme to love you, because I amgoing to heaven and He wantsyou to be there with me?’
You could have heard a pindrop as the Imam hung hishead in shame.
Needless to say, the organizersand/or promoters of the‘Diversification’ trainingseminar were not happy withmy way of dealing with theIslamic Imam, and exposingthe truth about the Muslims’beliefs.
In twenty years there will beenough Muslim voters in theU.S. to elect thePresident!
(FOR CHRIST’SSAKE....PASS THIS ON . . .)
May God continue to blesseach and everyone of you.
Father Help Us All! In theMighty Name of Jesus Christ
THIS IS SOMETHING REALLY WORTH READING!!!!!!!!!

When Jim got to the front, the CEOasked him what had happened to hisseed - Jim told him the story.
The CEO asked everyone to sit downexcept Jim. He looked at Jim, and thenannounced to the young executives,“Behold your next Chief ExecutiveOfficer!
His name is Jim!” Jim couldn’t believeit. Jim couldn’t even grow his seed.
“How could he be the new CEO?” theothers said.
Then the CEO said, “One year agotoday, I gave everyone in this room aseed. I told you to take the seed, plantit, water it, and bring it back to metoday. But I gave you all boiled seeds;they were dead - it was not possiblefor them to grow.
All of you, except Jim, have broughtme trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed wouldnot grow, you substituted another seedfor the one I gave you. Orangeburg, South Carolina
My Life…Jeremiah 29:11, Born from a mother
who was grieving over the lost of a 1 year old
daughter and spousal separation I came into
a life full of battles. But little did she know, she
was carrying God’s Anointed. As I grew, many
challenges confronted me, some I won, and
some I lost. I soon began to involve myself with
church musical activities, soon people began
saying “that little Gal can sing”. I said to my
cousin “I’m going to be a great singer and
preacher one day.” Well the devil heard that
and my life suffered. I allowed the devil to
control my life in a great way. I began to become
promiscuous and lonely. I knew something was
missing in my life and I was going to find it. In
1982 I was invited to Garden of Prayer Church,
Pastor Ebell Tucker preached “Jesus Loves
you”. At the moment it seemed as if God was
speaking directly to me and my Answer was
yes. I surrendered to him, soon God called me
into, ministry and I was ordained as the first
Youth minister. The
anointing of God flowed in my life as I traveled
with Pastor Tucker and doors began to open I
was able to share the stage with such recording
artists as Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, opened
service at pastor Shirley Caesar’s church. Had
the privilege to sing with the late Timothy
Wright, Ann Nesbitt and the churches of pastor
John P. Kee and Apostle Richard D. Hinton, I
had the opportunity to record my testimony that
God gave me in 2007 “Directions” and “Thank
You”.
My story…In 1999 I encountered a great
warfare with the devil trying to discourage my
walk with God. I lost my home, my second child
and faced a hurtful divorce, left only to raise a
1 year-old alone working a part time job. Only
God knew what would become of me. One
Sunday morning being led of God my pastor,
Evangelist Ebell Tucker spoke a prophetic word
to my spirit “Don’t Take the Devil’s Injection,
God is going to give you double for your
Troubles.” That’s when the words to my song
“Directions” birthed. God encouraged my heart
to remind me that I’m his anointed one and that
souls would be convicted and converted, the
lame would rise from wheel chairs as I
ministered in songs. In 2004 another evil attack
of the enemy to take me down for the last time,
but God stepped in right on time and a
victorious testimony of my Life and my Story,
through my songs. To God Be the Glory.

AwakenLately there have been more days like this.I drift into an endless, thoughtless abyssDrifting slowly and weightless into a land of fantasy.I am in a place where my innocence resides and I am worry Free.I look over the horizon where every stress I have is in apond by itself.I no longer dwell over the problems or the bad cards life had dealt.I am full of joy and no concerns as I did in my childhood.I am at peace and everything seems to be all goodThere isn’t any more heartache or griefFor right now, I have escaped or at least that is what I believed.Within a snap, I am back in the cold. It’s dark and unrelenting and once again I’m carrying thisHeavy loadI am fighting off the pain, but it is too much to ignore.I am sinking fast and beginning to wonder if I can win this warI want to scream for help as I feel my soul igniteI am waving the white flag , but there’s no surrender in sight.as is m about to give up, I hear a voice peaceful and clear.Don’t give up my child. I am here!”There is a warn light that has mesmerized. It has me drawn like a moth to a flame, yet I wasn’tTraumatized. The voice speaks again, there were times in your life when you feltAlone.I was as always here through your trails and difficultStorms.Life is full of sharp curves and bumpy rides.”If you choose to follow me, I will never forsake you I am god always by\ yourside

Escaping the dark
I finally got my fresh, new start
I have a chance to play my part.
I finally opened my ears and listened to my heart
And see the real light not the illusion in the dark
There is a smile on my face that is real.
There is a feeling that I have genuinely feel.
It took awhile, but I am finally healed.
And I have a peace of mind that no man can steal.
I have found a grace that is amazingly sweet.
I have found an inner truth that that is utterly unique.
I have found my own personal retreat.
I cannot hide in dark any longer
For his love has made me stronger
I do not have to be a loner.
The lord has become my soul donor
I have conquered the battle and won the fight.
I hace gained strength through his might
I have made it throught the night.
I have escaped the dark and see the light.

Research of a vet’s life
Good-bye to friends, good bye to mom
Board a plane and prayed it wasn’t Nam
Here come the new grunts, they get points
Fear led to drinking or passing a joint
Fighting a war that was not fair.
They could have won, but saddaam didn’t dare.
So what in the hell were we fighting for?
A body count and not much more.
Then most returned without welcome.
No flag, no horn, no beating drum
When we really wanted hugs and kisses.
Now we have no more enemies to fight
Anxiety and nightmares sneak up in the night
Flashbacks, depression drinking booze
Anger rage, and nothing to lose.
13 years later, so what has gone wrong?
To be screwed up for so long?
Will we ever be free from this P.T.S.D?

4 Tips for Burning Away Unwanted PoundsBy Cleveland Clinic Wellness Editors
1) Go farm fresh in the morning… Startthe day with eggsIt’s not even noon and you’re alreadyfamished — again! If you find yourselfcounting the minutes to lunchtime ev-ery day, you’re probably not eating theright things for breakfast. Starting yourday with a meal that includes qualityprotein like eggs can help reduce hun-ger and the number of calories you eatby 18 percent, according to a study inNutrition Research. If you’re watchingyour cholesterol, swap two egg whitesfor a single egg, or choose a choles-terol-free egg substitute.
2) Drink up… Sip a glass of water tocurb your appetiteWhile there’s nothing wrong with eat-ing when you’re famished, sometimesit’s hard to tell if you truly need food.Sometimes our body sends out mixedsignals and we can confuse hungerwith thirst. So if you can’t figure out whyyou’re starving already, try downingeight ounces of H2O first. Drinking anextra glass of water is never a badthing, and it could help you quenchyour thirst and recognize that thosehunger signals were a false alarm.
3) Create a new reality … Resolve towatch less TVRecent research shows that watchingless TV will help you become more pro-ductive — and burn more calories asa bonus. Researchers at the Univer-sity of Vermont found that when studyparticipants cut their TV time in half, they burned an extra 120 calories per
day simply because they spent lesstime sitting idle on the couch (not nec-essarily because they used the extratime to exercise). That’s enough toequal about one pound of weight lossevery month. Beyond weight loss, thinkof the things you could do with the ex-tra time, such as interacting with fam-ily and friends, pursuing a hobby orcatching up on the paperwork that al-ways seems to be on the verge of con-suming the kitchen counter — the pos-sibilities are endless. The national av-erage of daily television viewing isabout five hours, so make it your goalto limit yourself to only two hours orless per day.
4) Bulk up… Add fiber to your mealsAdding bulk to your diet can help takebulk off your frame. Research showsthat dieters who ate the most fiber hadthe greatest amount of weight loss. Ac-cording to a study in Nutrition Review, people who increased the amount offiber in their diet by 14 grams a dayate 10 percent fewer calories. Eatingjust half a cup of Fiber One will get youthere. Other evidence suggests that di-etary fiber is inversely related to obe-sity, meaning lots of fiber equals lotsless weight and body fat. The averageAmerican gets just half of the recom-mended 25 to 30 grams of fiber a day.To avoid stomach distress, add fibergradually to your diet and drink plentyof water. Believe it or not, adding fiberto your meals may even help keep yourbody from absorbing as many calories.

Exeter found that a 15-minute walkcauses people to eat half as muchchocolate as those who didn’t move.On top of that, taking a walk will makeyou more alert and burn off a fewcalories.
