The Director Trg (Ex-officio) is the overall controlling officer and he is assist
by the Joint Director, Training. The Joint Director, Training is the head of Department
of Department as assisted by the various Principals, Superintendents being head of
offices and assisted by various teaching staffs (Instructors) and non- teaching staffs.
Amongst the duties the joint director being the head of department (HOD) is the
responsibility for bringing out of powers and taking decisions relating with
Vocational Training Project (VTP) and assisted by sub-ordinate staffs as per chart
(Above)
(ii) The powers and duties of its officers and employees :-
The powers and duties of officers and Employees are :-
1. Th. Manibabu Singh, Joint Director of Training is the head of the
Department assisted by the Principal, ITI, Imphal, Deputy Director of
Training, Accounts Officer, Supdt(Tech) of 5 it is, Manipur as D.D.O and
2 posts of Supervisors. The Joint Director is the main responsible officer
for administration and implementation of Training Programmes of it is,
Manipur laid down the policies and Training Standard by the Director
General of Employment and Training, Govt of India.
2. T. Sanajaoba Singh, Supdt(Tech)
- Examination relating to Craftsmen
Training & Appt. training including,
maintenance of Stores
3. S. Nabachandra Singh, Supdt
(Tech)
- Training relating to outside &inside
the Manipur State including training
programme of Hill it is.
4. Smt K. Memthoibi Devi,

Over all supervisory works over the
Establishment & Accounts matter
including preparatory words of Budget

5. Shri S. Ibochaouba Singh, O.S.D Supervisory works relating to Policies &

6. K. Lianmang, Office Supdt. Supervisory works over the Clerical
Staff under the Establishment section.

(iii) The procedure followed in making decision is quite simple and which are
carried out in consultation with the concerned officials supported by the
connected documents etc.
(iv) No specific norms set by the Directorate and those rules and regulations
which are in existence in its Central Govt. as well as State Govt. are
adopting compiling with Trg. Manual.
(v) No rule, regulations, instructions held by employees and regarding training
programme which is carried out under All India Pattern only the training
manual is exercised when required.
(vi) No such information with this Directorate.
(vii) At present IMC is going to constitute and after constituting it, necessary
arrangement for accessible for public the minutes shall be ready.
(viii) Separate list enclosed (as Annexure I) in respect of Directorate as under II)
above.
(ix) Other than salary no remuneration been paid.
(x) A separate sheet is enclosed ( as Annexure-II)

I.T.I , Imphal is in existence and more than 750 different books are
