Grace brings Joy The old circumstances of the law said this, I have to do good works, I must be Self-reliant but

that led to thoughts You will never be good enough, you are far off,

feelings of separation which Makes known the sickness of our human condition

that we are in fact dead in our trespasses and sin But that leads us into thoughts like You are

rejected, You are a sinner You are Bankrupt therefore you have No guaranty, No peace and all your happiness is

based on circumstances! These thoughts can easily lead us into a life of addictions wither it be substance abuse or addicted to pleasure, always trying to create happy places to live in.

Grace brings Joy The new positon of Grace says I get to do good works..Titus 2:14 says we become

zealous to do good works, Because we have Power from God to do good works because we have been changed by this grace that brings with it the reality that we are closer to God, that we have been brought near and reconciled to the Father

Grace becomes the cure for our sickness, and has made us alive, we realize because of grace, we are accepted, we are holy, we have been adopted into His family and we have and Inheritance, this comes with it a Guarantee with a seal of promise attached. Therefore we find peace and it Brings Joy because it is based on position not circumstances. Therefore we find contentment in the Lord!

Grace brings Joy Ephesians 1:2-6 (NKJV)

2  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5  having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6  to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

11  In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Ephesians 1:13-14 (NKJV) 13  In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

18  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

4  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5  even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6  and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7  that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Grace brings JoyEphesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)

8  For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9  not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Grace brings JoyLuke 5:3-8 (NKJV)

3  Then He “ Jesus” got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. 4  When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." 5  But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net."

Grace brings Joy6  And when they had done

this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7  So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.

1  After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: 2  Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. 3  Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5  Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."

the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.

whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
