Here you will experiencethe Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass horseshoe-shaped bridge suspended4,000 feet above the riverbed. (B)Day 6 Mesquite - St. George, Utah - Zion Canyon National ParkAfter breakfast at your hotel, you will travel east, driving through St.George, Utah. back millions of years as it is revealed in her landscapes, showcasingsome of the most striking scenery found anywhere in the world, from theMojave Desert situated at an elevation of 2,000 feet up to the 10,000-foot Pine Valley Mountains. Here you will find Zion Canyon National Park,one of the oldest and most scenic National Parks in the United Statesthat encompasses an area of 146,000 acres. Enter the park inSpringdale and hop on a Zion Park Tram Tour to view the spectacularcombination of multicolored canyons, sheer cliffs, streams, waterfalls,and foliage. Later visit the historic Zion Lodge, a superb refuge for peace,serenity, and reflection. After your Zion experience, enjoy a FarewellDinner with your group at a local restaurant. Ancient trees and early man are evidenced throughout thepark by areas of petrified wood and 3,000-year-old Native Americanpetroglyphs. OPTIONAL LAS VEGAS EXTENSIONDay 7 Mesquite - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas After breakfasting thismorning, visit Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada’s oldest and largeststate park. Here you will be in awe at the red sandstone formationsformed from sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs. Ancient trees andearly man are represented throughout the park by areas of petrifiedwood and 3,000-year-old Native American petroglyphs. Continue to LasVegas where you will check-in at your hotel, ideally situated directly onthe "Strip" just steps from world-class restaurants, shows, mega-casinos, amusement parks and more! (B)Day 8 Las Vegas Today, enjoy a full day at leisure in Las Vegas or takean optional excursion to Death Valley. Cross the Nevada desert afterbreakfast this morning on the way to Pahrump and Shoshone. Once youget to the state of California, you will descend through the impressiveDeath Valley, approximately 320 feet below sea level. Head down toBadwater Point, the lowest spot in the valley; see Furnace Creek; anddiscover Stovepipe sand dunes. This superb excursion includes a visitof the Borax Museum where you will learn about the history of boraxmining in Death Valley. Return to Las Vegas.
