I want to thank all of you who helped out with these events and keep up the good work. This month, we have scheduled our first membership drive and 1 st Degree of the Colum- bian Year. Let’s make an effort in recruiting new members. Remember, recruitment is the life line in keeping this council alive and growing. So get out there and do your part and get some new members this month. Don’t forget about one of the best events we hold is this month, Oktoberfest!!! If you didn’t buy your tickets, get them soon before they sell out. Paul Wissert and Alan Bacci always do an amazing job every year with this event and I’m sure this year they will not disappoint. The food made by Chef John Sarubbi and his crew is always terrific. John has put a menu together that reveals some of the top German restaurants in the area. He will have a wide variety of Ger- man faire which will include bratwurst, pork loin, red cabbage and much, much more… So come out and have some fun dancing and eating the night away. I hope to see you there. Tom Prykuta is working hard as C&B Chairman so please help him out and get your raf- fle books in this month. Thanks Tom and keep up the hard work. We will not be holding our 3 rd Sunday repast this month due to the Oktoberfest being the night before the 3 rd Sunday of the month. I do want to thank John Sarubbi for heading up last month’s repast. John, great job! I can’t say enough about all of you who have put together the Sands bus trip every month from Jim O’Brian who organizes the trip to Tom Pykuta, Tom Walawender, and Al Swiderski who accompanies the bus to Sands and sells the pull tabs and runs the 50/50 during the ride. Great job guys and keep it up… God bless, Vivat Jesus!!!

GRAND KNIGHTS MESSAGE

Dear Brother Knights,

In the month of September we had our Installation of officers, C&B drive and the St.

Raphael’s Picnic. I want to thank all of you who helped out with these events and keep up the

good work.

This month, we have scheduled our first membership drive and 1st Degree of the Colum-

bian Year. Let’s make an effort in recruiting new members. Remember, recruitment is the life

line in keeping this council alive and growing. So get out there and do your part and get some

new members this month.

Don’t forget about one of the best events we hold is this month, Oktoberfest!!! If you

didn’t buy your tickets, get them soon before they sell out. Paul Wissert and Alan Bacci always

do an amazing job every year with this event and I’m sure this year they will not disappoint. The

food made by Chef John Sarubbi and his crew is always terrific. John has put a menu together

that reveals some of the top German restaurants in the area. He will have a wide variety of Ger-

man faire which will include bratwurst, pork loin, red cabbage and much, much more… So

come out and have some fun dancing and eating the night away. I hope to see you there.

Tom Prykuta is working hard as C&B Chairman so please help him out and get your raf-

fle books in this month. Thanks Tom and keep up the hard work.

We will not be holding our 3rd Sunday repast this month due to the Oktoberfest being the

night before the 3rd Sunday of the month. I do want to thank John Sarubbi for heading up last

month’s repast. John, great job!

I can’t say enough about all of you who have put together the Sands bus trip every month

from Jim O’Brian who organizes the trip to Tom Pykuta, Tom Walawender, and Al Swiderski

who accompanies the bus to Sands and sells the pull tabs and runs the 50/50 during the ride.

Great job guys and keep it up…

God bless,

Vivat Jesus!!!
