This second issue of the Grander Journal is cen-
tred around a happy occasion: the Russian Academy of
Natural Sciences has awarded its Silver Medal of Hon-
our to Johann Grander in recognition of his discovery of
water revitalisation. There are many water-treatment
systems, but Grander Technology is unique, and all the
imitations that have sprung up in the wake of Johann
Granders success have one thing in common: theyhave absolutely nothing to do with water revitalisation
according to Grander. Statements to the contrary are
simply untrue and can easily be refuted. Although there
is as yet no scientific explanation for why water revitalisa-
tion according to Grander works, there is no doubt that
it does work, and this can be proven by more than one
standardised method. And this is a further important
topic of this issue of the Grander Journal. One of the
accusations levelled at (traditional) science in connection
with Grander Technology was that science seemed to
have lost its curiosity. The standpoint taken by many
researchers is: Anything that is not in line with current sci-entific research simply does not exist. However, those who
retain their curiosity and are willing to follow the track
to waters secret have been richly rewarded. They have
discovered something. There are many fascinating items
of news to report, among others a dissertation at the
Technical University in Graz which among other things
succeeded in proving changes in the surface tension
of water revitalised according to Grander, horticultural
growth trials at the Ministry for Agriculture in Beijing,
experiments with the effect of chemicals and dyes in
a textile factory in Hong Kong and studies in a Russian
research laboratory that prove increased capability for self-
revitalisation in water revitalised according to Grander. And what would the Grander Technology be with-
out the personal experiences of its individual users? These in-
sights are useful, and each can be checked and verified.
Enjoy your reading!

more valuable. With new findingsabout the structure of water his dis-covery encourages further develop-ment of science and business andis thus of world-wide significancefor science in general. Weightywords from an international sci-entific point of view for the simplenaturalist from the Tyrol; indeedthe discoveries made by JohannGrander are an absolute sensation.
Those who know Johann Grand-er realise how pleased he is aboutthis award. Georg Huber, a long-standing friend of the Grander fam-

for Johann Grander, in-deed not only for him but also forhis entire family and all those whohave lived and suffered over thepast years and decades in develop-ing water revitalisation. The largehall of Eichenheim Golf Club isfilled to capacity. Guests from fivecontinents and over 30 countrieshave arrived to be with the Granderfamily on this day. The festive occa-sion is underlined by the presenceof a local brass band. Outside
it is raining cats and dogs, as ifthe heavens themselves wanted

Johann Grander is to receivea high honour today: The SilverMedal Award of the Russian Acad-emy of Natural Sciences. This awardhonours the man from the Tyrol forhis discovery of water revitalisation.A number of scientific institutes inRussia have worked intensively, studying and analysing GranderTechnology. The results have ledthe scientists to the conclusionthat Granders method makes itpossible to increase the energy and
information properties of water andtherefore to make it biologically

Fortunately,Johann Grander is able to experi-ence this recognition himself, andhe deserves it more than most.Notwithstanding some rathermassive opposition, his discoveryof water revitalisation has asserteditself world-wide.
The ideas of his adversaries: thatwater is just water is now being in-creasingly questioned internation-ally, as hundreds of thousands of
users benefit from the advantagesof Grander Technology, their livesno longer imaginable without its
blessings. And this provides goodreason for Granders motto: Ifonly science were able to recogniseeven one percent of the knowledgeof Gods creation, the world wouldbe a different place!

Dr. Thomas Gamse of theTechnical University in Graz wasacademic adviser for the first dis-
sertation on GranderTechnology. In his address, he
compared water revitalisations
arduous path to recognition withthat of homeopathy.
beth Gehrer put it in a nutshell:Verification has been achieved, that is, it has been proven scientifi-cally that your method is effective. And the critics, who have not al-ways treated you well, have beenrefuted! Dr. Thomas Gamse, rep-
resenting the Technical UniversityGraz, where the first dissertation on
the effects of Grander Technology
was conducted, compared the ardu-ous path to recognition of GranderTechnology with the long struggleand its attendant difficulties thathomeopathy had to suffer on itsway to recognition as legitimatemedicine. Gamse in his speech:How long for instance did home-opathy, in which active agents arediluted to the extent that actuallyonly the information remains, haveto fight to be recognised alongsidetraditional medicine!
The solemnity of theceremony was under-
scored by the music of awind ensemble.
A heartfelt handshakeconfirmed the friendship
between science andnatural research.
Verification hasbeen achieved:
it has been provedscientifically that

Georg Huber, a close friend ofJohann Grander, has responsibil-ity for looking after the Grandermarketing companies overseas, in
south-east Asia and Australia/ NewZealand. As organiser of this dayof honour, it was largely due tohis efforts that everything went sosmoothly and successfully.
How much more pleasant is thefact that already more than oneAustrian has successfully managed
to follow and achieve recognitionfor ways of thinking that do notcorrespond to the norm. Today weare gathered here to honour JohannGrander. His technology shouldbe a sign to scientists and also animpulse for the future, so that wemay recognise that we have not yetreached the stage of analysingnature fully, not even the most stud-ied medium, water.
Member of the European Parlia-
ment and journalist Dr. Hans Kro-nberger, an old friend of Johann
Grander, compared water revitalisa-tion according to Grander with the
transformation of high-grade woodinto a Stradivarius violin: althoughthere was more than enough high-grade wood around, only one hu-man being actually had the abilityand art to build a Stradivarius.
After the speeches the guestswatched with much emotion as Dr.Yuri Rachmanin Vice President ofthe Academy of Natural Sciences in

The EU parliamentarian and
journalist Dr. Hans Kronberger, author of numerous books andfilms on the environment andwater research, has been afriend of the Grander familyfor many years. In his speechhe underlined the uniqueness ofwater revitalisation according toGrander.
Moscow, responsible for the watersupply for Russian cosmonauts inspace and a WHO expert andProf. Vladimir Kondratov knownas Russias scientific Einstein presented the Silver Medal ofHonour. Rachmanin illustrated thefuture prospects made possible by
the new way of looking at water, from naturally improving its keep-ing qualities to chemical-free pu-rification techniques, all of whichhave opened up thanks to JohannGranders insights.
Under the flash of many pho-tographers cameras Prof. Rach-manin pinned the blue cross onJohann Granders breast. At this
historic moment empirical and ra-tional science honoured an intuitivefree thinker an acknowledgementthat could be a gigantic impulse to
a quantum leap for science and theobservation of nature.

T
he family of Grander con-sultants has grown over the
past years. They meet atirregular intervals, but at least everythree years, in the Tyrol. Grandersales organisations are active inNew Zealand, Australia, India, theUnited States of America, Canada,China and South Africa, as well asin many European countries.
The meetings take place for avariety of reasons: they enable theconsultants active across the worldto get to know each other and toexchange experiences, to take partin basic and additional trainingand last but not least simply tophilosophise.
The colourfully mixed groupof people from many different
cultures included medical doctors, biologists, physicists, chemists anduniversity professors from a widearray of faculties, but also repre-sentatives of public organisations, for example the Czech pioneer ofwater research, Dr. Frantisek Koz-isek, Director of the Departmentfor Drinking Water at the NationalInstitute for Health in Prague andhis colleague Dr. Chlupacova, chiefmicrobiologist.
Georg Huber spoke aboutJohann Granders personal life storyand the early days of water revitali-sation. Professor Yuri Rachmanin

reported at length on three yearsof research in Russia (see page 38).Many of those attending the meet-ing were surprised at the volumeof information, insights and corre-sponding results already availableon the topic of water revitalisation.Professor Vladimir Kondratov
provided details of his work on thestructure of water and the particularcharacteristics of Grander water.
The report given by Johan-nes Larch, head of the GranderLaboratory, concerned itself withinternal quality control and funda-mental explanations about GranderTechnology. This was followed bya short presentation on a degreedissertation prepared at the Tech-nical University Graz on the subjectof Grander Technology (see page
46). In a compelling session Dr.Horst Felsch presented the resultsof his laboratory tests. He provided
basic information about microbiol-ogy and reported on new insightsinto the proof of the effectiveness ofGrander Technology, with particu-
lar emphasis on the results of theincreased keeping quality of waterrevitalised according to Grander.Johannes Koppensteiner explainedsome practical uses and special ap-plications of Grander Technology. Two things not to be missed werea trip to the Kupferplatte minesand an outing to the KitzbhelerHorn.
The highlight of the intensive
working days were the lively finaldiscussions. Making new friends
and finding or developing ideasjust happened alongside everythingelse. In other words: the meetingin Aurach was so successful thatsome attendees wanted to registerimmediately for the next seminar. And Professor Rachmanin predictsworld-wide interest will surpass allexpectations at the forthcominginternational conferences.
Its clear thatthe world-wide
interest will
soon surpass allexpectations.

Doctors Congress
On 6th October 2000, Vi-
enna was the venue forthe first discussion meet-
ing for medical doctors, who hadfor some time been using waterrevitalised according to Granderin their surgeries. The conferenceattracted participants from threecountries: Austria, Germany andSwitzerland. The main aim ofthe event was to gather doctorstogether and give them the op-portunity to share experienceswith Grander Water and to absorbnew experiences in their turn. The

Carola Engler, a correspondentspecialising in medical matters. Her summary of the event: Ithink it was an historical meetingof open-minded doctors willing toconsider new ways of thinking. Ihad the distinct impression thatthere were great developmentsboth in the conference room andin the following informal conver-sations. Although I have dealtwith medical matters for manyyears, I have never experiencedsuch enthusiasm and keenness to
experiment in doctors before. Itwas a very special group.
The congress par-ticipants agreed that tra-ditional medicine unjustlygives the medium water far toolittle importance and considers itto be nothing more than an idealtransport and solution medium
for medicines, but without any
further significance. They alsoexpressed the wish that more at-tention be paid to water, withinthe context of healing and, inparticular, the use of GranderWater.
One thing was clear: it wasthe first of many future medicalconferences.
There was a livelyseries of conversations

The official test reportconfirms the perfectquality of the well water.
Well over a hundred thou-sand people world-wideuse Grander Technol-
ogy. Given that water determinesour everyday life 24 hours a day, i.e.around the clock, it is the all-pre-serving life-elixir.
The state of the water is crucialfor our health and well-being, andfor the preservation of our entireecosystem. This is why many usersof Grander Technology like to passon their experiences with revitalisedwater, out of gratitude for what
they have experienced personallyand to enable other people to makeuse of these experiences.
Water of life: well-waterinstead of mineral water
Husband and wife Richard andGisela Hompesch just did not seemable to enjoy their lovely house onthe edge of the nature reserve inNideggen-Abenden in North Rhine-Westphalia. The reasons: constantproblems with their well-water, theironly source of drinking water. Thecouple became aware of this factafter buying the house. They wereforced to drink bottled mineralwater, as the water from the wellhad to be boiled before it could beused. This dilemma still affects theneighbours. Richard Hompesch, however, decided to take mattersinto his own hands and installed
a Grander well revitaliser. Themoment of truth came when thelocal health authority requestedmicrobiological and chemical tests
of the water. Mr. Hompeschhad the samples of his revitalisedwater analysed by the Dr. BergHygiene Institute in Eschweiler. The results were so baffling thatthe tests had to be repeated morethan once, as the institute haddoubts about the fantastic results. The equipment paid for itselfwithin a year and half with the sav-ings made because we no longerneeded to buy mineral water. I amconvinced that the well revitaliser isresponsible for this effect, as we did
not undertake any other measuresto improve the water.

Enthusiastic talk-showviewers jam phone lines
Ulrich Wunsch is a passionateGP. On 2nd May 2000 he and hisyoung patient Alina Dahmen wereguests on the TV talk show Fliege.Alina had run a rusty nail throughher upper lip while playing andhad refused to go to hospital. Shewanted to be treated only by herfamily doctor, who sewed thewound and treated it successfullywith Grander Water in a very short
space of time, and without leavinga visible scar. Alinas description ofthe incident and the healing processhad a lasting effect. The telephonelines of the Fliegeeditorial depart-ment (Jrgen Fliege has himselfbeen a user of Grander Technol-ogy for the past four years), Dr.Wunschs surgery and the centralGrander sales office for Germanyin Garmisch-Partenkirchen were
jammed for days. Thousands ofpeople wanted to find out moreabout Grander Technology.
Ulrich Wunschs experience:homeopathic medicines take effectfaster, and the pain associated with
circulatory problems is reduced.Skin-related infections and illnessesreact well to revitalised water.
Hannelore Grgens has been apatient for many years. One eveningwhile playing with her dog she wasbitten in the cheek and upper lip.Dr. Wunsch wanted to admit herimmediately to hospital for anoperation. Frau Grgens howeverinsisted that he should treat herhimself, so he sewed the woundas best as he could and treated herwith water revitalised according toGrander. Frau Grgens continuedthe treatment at home. To every-ones great delight there was noinfection or festering of the wound.Today the scar is practically invisible, removing any fear of needing toundergo cosmetic surgery.
Like so many otherphysicians, Dr. med. Barbara

I was ashamed of myface; I did not want to continuemy ballet training. On the firstday we had Grander Water I tooka bath, and since then, things have
improved. The neurodermatitis hasreceded; after four weeks my skinhad completely healed, and is so tothis day.
Healing with GranderWater
Dr. Eberhard Meyer follows newpaths in medicine in his surgery nearRosenheim. The strict vegetarianputs his trust in alternative healingmethods. Initially he was very scep-tical about Grander Technology.Today, he cannot imagine living
without Grander Water. I be-lieve that there is a great futurefor Grander Technology. It willbe successful because the popula-tion will realise that somethingpositive is happening that can bea help in all aspects of life. Hismedical experiences are the sameas those of his colleagues: thereis an accelerating effect withhomeopathic therapies and thebodys self-healing processes are
stimulated. Since starting to useGrander Water, Dr. Meyers wifecan once again get a good nightssleep.
Dr. Michael Walterdecided to experiment on
himself and noticed amarked improvement in
his diabetes.
Dr. Reiniger testedGrander Water at home:
It revitalised my plantsand promoted their
growth.
A convinced vegetarian,Dr. Eberhard Meyer be-lieves in alternative thera-pies and is an advocate of
Grander Technology.
Even diabetes canbe treated
I can not recommend car-bonated water to anyone, saysphysician Dr. Michael Walter, whose surgery is located in Ried-bhringen. The doctors initial ex-periments with Grander Water wereon himself. A diabetic, he tried to
balance his own body water levels successfully. His skin impuri-ties were reduced and his generalwell-being increased. Dr. Walterwas particularly impressed by twocases that were obviously connectedwith revitalised water. An elderlylady with impaired kidney functionexperienced a rapid improvementafter treatment with Grander Water, and a young mans skin problemshealed by themselves. As far as Dr.
Walter is concerned Grander Wa-ter is not a miracle cure but simplygood, healthy water: And that is asimportant as good, healthy air andgood, healthy food!

Application of GranderTechnology encouragesholistic thinking
Berlin water is problematicfor any application, and its qualityleaves a lot to be desired. Berlinmusic teacher Wolfgang Strbingthinks he knows why fresh wateris called just that: The term saltwater is clear and unambigu-ous. But tap water does not usu-ally taste fresh. Since I installedGrander Technology my tap watertastes fresh and a little sweet. Thatis astonishing! However this was
not the only surprise for WolfgangStrbing. His garden has expe-rienced a veritable explosion ofgrowth, the fish in his pond swimaround friskily, and he himself nowfeels fit and vital. The man fromBerlin found out about GranderTechnology during a visit to Graz,Austria. The new ideas aboutwater have led him to look differ-ently at many things in life and have

helped him to think in a more eco-logical and holistic way. Strbingexperimented enthusiastically in hisown home and achieved concreteresults. He added a Grander heat-ing water revitaliser to the tank ofhis heat pump, which has allowedhim to reduce the energy require-ment two-fold. This means that henow needs less energy than beforeto heat the water to 40 Celsius.Wolfgang Strbing: Water is themost precious thing on Earth, and we can make it more preciousstill!

Two of his most famouspatients are real world champi-ons, in artistic cycling. A normalhuman being would break his neckusing this form of transport, buteven professional bicycle acrobats

to heal quickly. Acrobats likethe Rauch brothers require fullconcentration for their dangerous
headstands on the bike saddle, and backache would only get inthe way.
Artist discovers GranderWater
In her Galerie Steinreich inBerlins Akazienstrasse GabrieleFromme sells beautiful stones andindividually designed stone foun-tains. Most of them are real works
of art. The fountains are not onlydecorative, but also have a calmingeffect given them by the harmoni-ous flow of water. As is the casewith other inhabitants of Berlin,Ms. Fromme is not happy with thequality of the citys water. The artistconsiders this inferior water qualitythe reason why her fountains suf-fer from rapid build-up of limestoneand algae. She is involved, on a dai-ly basis, with water, and considers
it an elixir. Friends told her aboutGrander Technology. First experi-ments proved to her that revitalisedwater simply tastes better. Being
able to drink water straight fromthe tap was an unimaginable lux-
ury. The advantages she has seensince installing Grander water revi-talisation equipment are mainly of apractical nature. The fountains nowremain free of algae for much long-er. This was not the case before shestarted using Grander Technology.Previously the room fountains weregreen with algae after just a fewdays. The limestone marks have alsodisappeared, and the constant needto clean the display fountains hasbeen dramatically reduced. As far asGabriele Fromme is concerned thewater has become simply livelier. She is convinced that water containsinformation that can be appliedsensibly in many different areas.Continuing this line of thought itbecomes obvious that water is anessential part of health care. From-
me: Drinking water should be
encouraged: then people would beill less, they would suffer less fromarthrosis, and have fewer problemswith their metabolism.

Handmade pasta sells likehot-cakes, even abroad
The nice thing about hobbies isthat one can choose them oneself. In his daytime job Thomas Lehr is ashop assistant in a food shop in Al-theim in Baden-Wrttemberg. Hiscellar, however, is a special kind ofworkshop. He produces all kindsof noodles. In addition to freshegg and spelt noodles he has alsomastered the art of making exoticvarieties, such as basil-, tomato-or pizza-flavoured noodles. A TV

Ac-cording to Schumacher, doughmade with revitalised water risesbetter. Thomas Lehr and his wifeSabine wanted to try this out forthemselves. And in fact they canconfirm the experience made bytheir baking colleague. Althoughthere are many noodle factories
around Altheim, handmade pasta la Lehr sells like hot cakes, anddeliveries to places as far awayas Norway are nothing special.Thomas Lehr: Our turnover hasgrown by 80%. I sell my noodlesin organic-food and farm shops.Business is booming so much thatI have now started to bake breadfor an organic-food shop!
More flavour throughGrander Technology
According to Rainer Knoll, who comes from Bremen, bakingis a philosophical act. Not all breadis the same, and as far as Knoll isconcerned only the best is goodenough to be a staple in our diet.In the bakery in Bremen only thehighest-quality raw materials fromenvironmentally-friendly sourcesare used for bread, biscuits and
cakes.
The essential thing with bakingis the proportion of flour to water. The more water one can bind, the
better the quality of the bread, themaster reveals. One of his custom-ers introduced Knoll to Granderwater revitalisation. After someinitial hesitation the first practicaltrials convinced him: We were ableto bind up to 2% more water, whichmakes the dough smoother andthe aromatic flavour stronger, sothe proof of the pudding is literallyin the baking!. The Knoll bakery
delivers to more than 150 shops inNorthern Germany, most of whichare whole-food shops. The bakeryalso noticed something else: thequantity of detergent used couldbe reduced to such an extent thatfewer cleaning staff were neededthan before. Baker Knoll: Clean-ing the baking sheets and ovens is amuch easier and faster job now andthere is no build up of lime scale on
the machines!
An astonished RainerKnoll: We were ableto bind up to two percentmore water.
A staple foodstuff, breadhas even more taste andaroma when the waterhas been revitalised.

Accord-ing to the information provided bythe detergent manufacturers this re-duction would no longer guarantee

Children at Villa Kunterbuntdont want to get out of theswimming pool
When one decides to offer aspecialised hotel service and to
cater for children, young familiesand naturally also for householdpets, then water plays a par-ticularly significant role. In thespring of 1999 Werner Bergaueropened his childrens hotel, VillaKunterbunt, in Loipersdorf onthe border between Burgenlandand Styria. The hotel has largerooms and just about everythinga child could wish for. The finestcare is of utmost importance, as
is the quality of the cooking. Theenthusiastic owner already knewabout Grander Technology fromhis previous hotel in Vorarlberg.Children are veritable water-babiesanyway, but parents keep asking uswhat is so special about our water, seeing that they have trouble get-ting the kids out of the pool. Everytime we ask our little guests we getthe same stereotype answer: that
the food and the water are our mainattractions.Located as we are at the heart of
the thermal region we already havehigh-quality water, and presumablyrevitalisation according to Granderhas an even stronger effect. It hasalso happened more than once thatguests who brought their dogshave commented on their four-leg-ged friends growing finer and silkiercoats during their stay. I think theseimprovements, which one can seeand feel, are caused by the water.
Grander Improves theFlavour of Good Wine
Can wine be revitalised? is aquestion that is often asked. JohannLang, a wine-grower who also runsa typical wine tavern in the idyllicSt. Johann in der Heide in EasternStyria, wanted to find out more andaccordingly began a private series oftests on wine and schnapps from hisown stills. His first result: Goodwine gives excellent results. We
found that wine passed through aGrander revitaliser before bottlingwas significantly fresher, moreeasily digestible and younger af-ter a year than a comparable samplethat had not been revitalised. Theflavour of the fruit is more notice-able. Revitalisation smoothes theedges of the wine, so one shouldonly revitalise those wines wherethis is a desirable effect. There isone thing the wine-grower warns
against: Grander Technology willnot transform bad wine into goodwine. Anyone trying to do thatis bound to fail miserably. The

experiences gained with wine alsoapply to schnapps: The same thinghappens here, says the distiller ofquality spirits. Revitalisation re-moves the harshness of the alcohol, making the schnapps rounder, moreeasily digestible and softer, and theflavour of the fruit is definitely en-hanced!
Dogs lap up Grander Water
The first time Christine Saahs, the landlady of the exclusive Heu-riger Nicolaihof in Mautern an es-
tablishment known far beyond theborders of Lower Austria cameacross Grander water revitalisationwas during a holiday on a Demeterfarm in the Waldviertel over tenyears ago. The farmer was veryproud of his new acquisition. Herfirst thought was: Oh dear, thepoor man has been sold a pup.
Since then she has had a Granderdevice installed in the main waterpipe in her hotel, and everythingfrom tea-making to preparations forthe vineyards is revitalised.
The Nikolaihof is locatedon an ancient mystery site, withproof of human habitation dat-ing back over two thousand years.Vines are cultivated according to
strict biodynamic guidelines. Al-though it is actually the wine thatshe wants to sell in the elegant
restaurant, Mrs. Saahs serves herguests a jug of Grander Water asa welcome drink. She often hears:Thats wonderful water, wheredoes it come from? Mrs. Saahswas particularly pleased by ananimal experiment of a specialkind: she served her dachshundrevitalised and non-revitalised wa-ter in two separate china bowls, lured him away and then switchedthe bowls round. The dachshundwasnt fooled though, and made
a beeline for the bowl with therevitalised water every time. FrauSaahs needs no further proof of thesuccess of Grander water revitalisa-tion ...

Swimming ponds insteadof a pool make Gloggnitzparticularly attractive
Revitalising a public swimmingpool is a large-scale project requir-ing particular care and attention. Many factors, from the fundamen-tal water quality to the dosage ofchemicals and the size of the freshwater supply have a part to play.Keeping a (public) swimming poolrunning is close to a science in itsown right.
In the natural pool in Gloggnitzin Lower Austria, close to the Sem-mering, a conscious decision was
made to risk wading in uncharted

waters. The local authority directorresponsible, Karl Stierba, explainsthe starting position: Originally wewanted to refurbish the pool com-pletely using conventional stainless-steel equipment. This would havecost 30 to 40 million Austrian shil-lings. As the local community wasunable to finance such a project, weneeded to find an alternative, andthis led to the idea with the swim-ming pond. After a prolongedsearch, the first details aboutGrander Technology came to light.Stierba: We decided to install arevitalising system to improve thealready high drinking-water qual-ity of our water even further. Wewere able to observe that the self-cleansing capability of the water hasincreased. Our guests find the waterparticularly pleasant. The influx ofswimming guests from neighbour-
ing towns and villages also has a
positive effect on the local com-munity. It is also important to notethat we only need to use the mini-mum specified quantity of chlorine
and that the negative effects of thechemicals are greatly reduced.

The senior boss, FriedrichSlama, had problems with the in-house swimming pool until 1995.If the contraflow equipment wasswitched on after not being usedfor two or three days, brown waterfrom the rusty pipes would flowinto the pool. In 1995 the success-ful businessman decided in favourof the installation of Grander wa-ter revitalising equipment andhe has operated his indoor swim-
ming pool without the additionof chlorine ever since. He has thewater regularly tested by the localViennese authority, and invariablythe results are a cause of hilarity forSlama: the civil servants tell himevery time that the water they havetested cannot possibly come fromhis swimming pool, as it would beimpossible to have such clean water
in a swimming pool in regular use.Why would the businessman pay forwater samples just to fool himself? The effect has remained the samefor the past five years. Slama: Onefeels very well. The water doesnt
smell, eyes dont smart , the skindoesnt itch the way it usually doesin other pools where the water con-tains chlorine. And as the Granderrevitalisation has worked withoutany hitches for five years wehave changed the charge only threeor four times during this period Ihave no reason to believe that itwont keep working in future.
How a doubting farmer
became an enthusiasticGrander customer
The animals must feel comfort-able, only then can I be successfuleconomically, farmer Franz Kat-inger is convinced. He breeds pigs, and had quite a lot of trouble withthe odour of pig manure. The pas-sionate farmer tried many differentproducts but without much successuntil he finally came upon Grander
manure revitalisation. Normally Itend to be rather sceptical about thiskind of invention, he admits, butthe test results and the significantlyreduced odour emissions whenspreading the manure on the fieldshave convinced me! A further suc-cess in addition to the reduction insmell: the liquid manure no longerforms a surface layer and the pHvalue is in the neutral range, whichinhibits incorrect fermentation
and rotting. And the content of
ammonia and nitrogen is greatlyincreased. The enthusiastic farmeralso runs his own farm shop, which offers mainly meat productsfor sale. As far as Franz Katingerin concerned, producing healthyfoodstuffs is a matter of conscienceand great responsibility. Thus herefuses to use any commercialfertilisers.
Friedrich Slama has beena convinced Grander userfor the past five years and
has thoroughly enjoyedhis swimming pool.
Since Franz Katinger (on theright with Grander consultantRudolf Higer) discovered Grand-er manure revitalisation for hispig farm, hes been able to getalong without artificial fertilisers.

Dr. Jrg Mitterdorfer is a com-
muter, travelling between the chem-ists shop owned by his parents inAmstetten in Lower Austria andHarvard Medical School in Bos-ton, USA, where he researches thedifferent functions of nerve cells.During a visit to the pharmacy backhome he discovered revitalisedcosmetic products. After hearingabout the installation of a Granderwater revitaliser from his mother,Dr. Mitterdorfer began to study in-formational material about Grander
Technology. The background tothis interest: in nerve cell researchit is necessary to isolate the verysensitive cells in culture dishes, inwhich they stay fresh for an hourat most. The state of the cells isdetermined by the quality of the
water used to prepare the nutrientsolution. His luggage for the nexttrip to America includes GranderWater. His plan: I am just curi-ous and would like to see whethercells in nutrient solutions preparedwith Grander Water are more sta-ble. And I would also like to see
whether Grander Water influencesthe electrical activity of the nervecells. But Ill try it out quietly andsecretly in case the rest of theresearch team thinks Ive gonecompletely mad! Cant wait tosee the results ...

A letter from Namibia
Gert Botha from Namibia sends
us this letter: We live in a smalltown (with only 1500 inhabitants)on the South-west coast of Africa.Swakopmund lies in the middle ofthe Namib Desert, supposedly oneof the oldest deserts in the world.Within a radius of 70 kilometresare three dried-up rivers. In otherwords, these rivers (the Kuiseb,Swakop and Omaruru) carry wa-ter no more than once a year (onthe surface). The rivers sometimes
carry no water for a few consecu-tive years. Their catchment area isa few hundred kilometres away, inNamibias central highlands (Kho-mas Highlands). On its way to thesea the water flows through areaswith high mineral content (usuallycontaining copper, lead, zinc, tanta-lum ore, pewter, tungsten and evensalt and gypsum). After the waterhas passed through these areas itdisappears underground throughthe sand.
The water is pumped out of theprehistoric delta of the Kuiseb andOmaruru rivers and piped to threecities to be used there. Because ofits history it is very hard andcontains many dissolved salts. Ittherefore has a rather unpleasantflavour and only few people drinkit (fortunately we have excellentbeer).
Since we introduced GranderTechnology a few weeks ago, thenew characteristic of our waterhas made us deliriously happy: forthe first time hair shampoo actu-
ally foams (fantastic!) and hair nolonger feels like winter grass, limescale visibly disappears, and the bestthing is, we can drink the water!Even just this fact alone is of greatsignificance, because we all sud-denly came to the conclusion thateveryone had been suffering fromthe classic symptoms of dehydration(constipation, dry and smartingeyes, stuffy noses, dry skin, diges-tive problems, etc.). All of a sud-
den one cant drink enough water! On top of that and this is ratherstrange the more one drinks, themore one wants to drink! We hadto set up working teams to treatthe water containers until very lateinto the night. Half the town was inturmoil. I can assure you on behalfof Swakopmund: we are exceedinglygrateful to be able to use this revo-lutionary technology!

Incredible but true
This story from the New Zea-land town of Napier sounds quite
incredible. New housing was goingto be built on a river bank that hadpreviously been used by a mineraloil company as a rubbish dumpand was accordingly polluted withhydrocarbons. The contaminationreached levels of no less than 8000ppm to a depth of one to three me-tres over a large part of the area.Because of this, the whole areawas out of bounds to the public. Some parts of the area were evencontaminated with tar and therewere many different kinds of hy-drocarbons around.
Napier city officials discussed anddecided to implement a remedialproject using the Grander Technolo-gy. The entire area was flooded withrevitalised water, and the water wasrenewed daily.
According to the experts es-timates the natural regenerationcould have taken as long as fiftyyears. Within three weeks the first
signs of improvement were notice-
able. Microbiological activity in the
ground increased, which causedthe hydrocarbons on the surface tobreak up more quickly. The proc-ess was continuously measured.Towards the end of the treatmentprocess, which lasted 35 days, thefirst sea-birds went back to drinkingthe water which flooded the area asign that the water was on its wayto a usable state. Birds are incor-ruptible indicators of water qual-ity. Initial heated debates cooled

as the project advanced, and afterthe five-week experimental periodthere was agreement and satisfac-tion. The measurements wereconvincing. Hydrocarbon valuesof only 13 ppm were measured. The appearance of the river bankshowed that it was clean andinviting. Six weeks later, NapierCity Council had the river bankremodelled as a riverside walk.A year later a lawn was laid andopened for public recreation. Itis now possible to build the apart-ment block.

Chinese medicineThree and a half years ago Dr.
Cheung Yun Fat, a specialist in Chi-nese medicine, introduced Granderwater revitalisation into his surgeryin Hong Kong. A particular prob-lem for his patients is the high de-gree of air pollution in the formerBritish colony. So in his surgery heworks mainly with the Grander airrevitaliser. His patients noticed im-mediately that the air in the waiting
room was fresher and better thanelsewhere. Dr. Cheung worksmainly with different kinds ofherbs. Even before using them hestores them on the Grander revital-ising plates. Dr. Cheung: The re-sult is that the healing power of therevitalised herbs is much strongerand more concentrated than it is innon-revitalised herbs. My patientsfelt the difference immediately. I am
very happy about the pleasant re-sults, and I also feel much stronger
and full of energy myself.

Reverend Joseph Tai is the di-rector of the Caritas School for theHandicapped in Macao. His accessto Grander Technology is unique.A friend had recommended that heuse the revitalised water against theunpleasant odour of the schools
dogs. The apparatus was installedin the main water pipe. Then thepapayas in the school garden startedto grow with unusual vigour, andeveryone was so enthusiastic about
the new shoots the plants were pro-ducing that a separate garden classwas set up for the children. As far asReverend Tai is concerned the mostphenomenal thing was the way thechildren gained new access to water. They even drink it unboiled veryunusual for Macao. The parentswere initially sceptical and wereafraid about their children drink-ing unboiled water, but we haventhad a single upset stomach in the
past year, says Reverend Tai.

Holland steps up use ofGrander Water Revitalisation
Holland is a country of flow-ers, and Grander water revitalisa-tion has experienced an immenseupswing there over the past fiveyears. Two typical examples for thesuccessful application of GranderTechnology:
Every year I spent more than10,000 guilders on chemicals forthe maintenance of our boilers, remembers Gert-Jan Conijn, ownerof a factory that produces bakingadditives in Hoom in Holland. Theboilers are cooled in water with ahigh content of iron. GranderTechnology not only saves a lot of
money, but in Mr. Conijns opinionalso increases the useful life of theboilers. The pond beside the house
has never been so healthy and man-ages without any chemical additives. The apparatus paid for itself withinonly a year.
Nature is simply a miracle!
Jaap von Etten and his brotherhave been enthusiastic gardenerssince their childhood. Near Rot-terdam they grow mainly Caltha
palustris(a marsh plant). Both the
water in the rainwater reservoir andthe supply into the greenhouse arerevitalised. Japp von Etten describeshis experiences: First we noticedthat weeds started to grow. Thatisnt so good, but when it happensother plants grow faster as well. Thewater is incredibly soft. This makesit easier for the plants to absorb nu-trients and they need less fertiliser. The leaves are more perfect, muchlivelier in shape and colour. Theyare also much more resistant. In thepast I had to take steps to make surethe plants wouldnt burn during thehot season, but that is no longer aproblem. For the past seven yearsthe von Etten brothers have culti-vated caltha plants, and Jaap vonEtten tries to figure out how natureworks: I dont know why GranderTechnology works but I know for
sure that it does work. How does aplant grow, how is a bud formed? He has already figured out onething though: Roots grow fasterin a waning moon, the plant in awaxing one. These are complicatedprocesses. We should examine theprocesses more and not just be
satisfied with the results; then wewould move ahead further. Natureis one great miracle!
Jaap von Etten, gardener:I dont know whyGrander Technologyworks, but I do knowfor certain that it doeswork.
Gert-Jan Conijn is happythat - thanks to Granderwater revitialisation - he nolonger has to buyexpensive chemicals.

the harvest failed. The consequence:from December 2000 onwards the
use of Grander Technology will bestepped up.In April the company San Javier
Plants, which grows seedlings forpeppers and melons and sells themto plantations, installed its firstGrander water revitalising device. It was at the stage when the pep-per plants were being replanted.Normally the water was takenfrom a storage pond fed with waterfrom the central water mains. Thechlorinated water led to continued
problems with the sensitive rootmass. After using Grander waterrevitalisation, the engineers foundthat after just one month the pep-per plants were growing faster andwere significantly more healthy. Aclear difference was also visible inthe root system, which was betterdeveloped than it was when theconventional irrigation system wasused.
The Spaniards imagination
in applying water revitalisation islimitless. As one example of manywe can present the La Sella GolfCourse in Jesus Pobre, which wastransformed back to a lush green.

Experiences from the farnorth ...
Some four years ago, Nor-way became the first country in
Scandinavia to introduce GranderTechnology. The results have beenamazing. Here are three examples:
The Cato Centre in Son, Nor-way, offers rehabilitation for thephysically handicapped. At the be-ginning of 2000, technical managerPaul Gummerson installed GranderTechnology in the wave pool. Hewas sceptical about the concept andwondered if this unknown technol-ogy was just another gimmick !
The wave pool has a tempera-ture of approximately 38 degreesCelsius, and is very popular at thecentre.
Two weeks after GranderTechnology was installed, saysGummerson, things really startedto happen:
The patients told us that theycouldnt detect the smell of chlor-ine anymore, and that, in addition, the water felt extremely soft andcomfortable to the skin.
The swimming-pool waterat the Cato rehabilitation
centre no longer has to bechanged weekly; it nowremains clean for almosta month.
Now we no longer have toscrub the floor and bath. The dirtis easy to remove without the use ofdetergents.
In the technical equipmentroom we had spilled chlorine onthe epoxy floor. The stain was im-possible to get rid of. But Granderwater sprinkled on the stain did thetrick. It just vanished by itself.
We normally change the water
every week. Now every third weekis enough.
In spite of increasing traffic, the use of chlorine and chemicalshas been greatly reduced. Eachmonth we used to use 300 litres ofchlorine. Now we need only 150- 200 litres. The filters have alsobecome really easy to clean. Weare currently considering installingGrander Technology throughoutthe entire building. We have toadmit that we dont understandMr Granders invention, but itcertainly works. We most certainlyrecommend that others try it.
Pears thrive on pure water
Karin Moe installed a GranderTechnology unit in her home inSeptember 1999. She had problemswith her laundry: the whites werealways greyish. Now the whites arewhite, and coloured fabrics keep

their clear and vivid colours, eventhough she now uses less detergent. She was surprised at this but was stilla little sceptical, so she decided totry an experiment with a fruit tree. She simply watered the pear treewith Grander Technology water.Nothing else. The results amazedher. The tree bore a huge crop ofperfect fruit, despite a generally badharvest in the area that year.
When the doctors gave up ...
In 1999 a nine-year-old boy hadacute eczema on his scalp, extend-ing almost down to his eyes. He suf-fered terrible itching and scratching, and the condition caused him tobe depressed as well. His mothertook him to several doctors, whoprescribed various ointments andcreams, all of which were extremely
painful and none of which relievedhis condition. After a while he re-fused to use them.
We gave him a bottle of GranderVital Shampoo. After using it forabout four months, he was symp-tom-free, and has been completelywell ever since. His mother wasabsolutely thrilled.

Fate sometimes moves in mysterious ways. How didGrander Technology reach Russia first Moscow andthen as far as Ekaterinburg?
The idea of making Grander Technology knownin Russia originated in 1996 with Grander consultantJohannes Koppensteiner, whose previous activities as salesdirector for various companies provided him not only
with an excellent command of the Russian language butalso with detailed knowledge of Russian behaviour andcustoms. Russia has an excellent reputation world-widein the area of water research; indeed this was the case formost of the countries of the former Eastern Bloc. It wastherefore obvious that importing Grander Technologyinto Russia would prove to be a very difficult under-taking, as the state authorities are particularly scepticaland have extremely high testing standards. It was thischallenge that was the reason to venture into the lionsden. And it transpired that it would in fact be closeto impossible to obtain permission to import water
technologies based on the transfer of information andstructural changes. On 29 June 1997, Johannes Koppensteiner flew
to Moscow armed with Granders house chem-ist, Dr. Horst Felsch. The Austrian trade attach,Gerhard Supancic, co-ordinated the talks betweenthe four members of the Russian delegation, led bythe director of the microbiological laboratory of theRussian Institute for Human Ecology and Environ-mental Medicine, and the two Austrians. For fivehours Dr. Felsch was inundated with critical questions. The Russian experts demanded not only proof thatGrander Technology is harmless, which would have
been quite a simple matter, but alsoproof of its efficacy and with it, of its signif-icance, not such an easy thing to do from ascientific point of view. The first group of
Prof. Yuri Rachmanin and Johannes Koppensteiner:the Russians have accepted the challenge.
The mystery of water is the focus of the future.

The Russians want to know. What else can Grander Technology do?
filter equipment, devices with permanent magnets, pyrite gel cartridges, and many more. Seeing all thisequipment I knew that we had finally found the rightman. For the third time I began to talk about GranderTechnology, but I soon realised that my genericexplanations about water molecules, cluster formation
and information transfer were not holding ProfessorRachmanins interest. His eyes and body language in-dicated boredom, and when he simply couldnt standmy explanations any longer he seized the initiative andtold me that all of this was already well known. On theother hand he described the enormous problems fac-ing Moscows water-supply company. The foundationstone for an extremely fascinating collaboration hadbeen laid.

The Grander method also improves the micro-biological condition of the water; the self-cleansingcapacity of revitalised water is noticeably increased, and bacterial cultures diminish much faster in waterrevitalised according to Grander than in non-revitalisedwater. Extensive microbiological analyses with manydifferent micro-organisms confirm this. Test serieswere run with Salmonella, coliform bacteria, Klebsiella,Legionella, Escherichia coli(see diagram) etc.
It should also be emphasised that Grander Technol-
ogy reduces the mutagenicity of drinking water. Whenchlorinated water and organic substances are exposed toeach other, this results in the formation of organo-chlo-ride compounds, which are for the most part mutagenic. This is also the most common way in which mutagenicsubstances are created.
The topic of the mutagenicity of chlorinated drinkingwater and the problem created by these by-products hasonly recently been considered and as yet has no solu-tion. Chlorinated organic compounds are very difficultto break down, which is why these substances are soabundant in nature. The so-called Ames test was used
to examine Moscow tap water from two different wa-terworks, both of which use chlorinated surface water.
The result shows that it was possible to significantlyreduce the mutagenicity through the application of theGrander Technology by as much as a reduction fac-tor of 70%. What is all the more remarkable is that thewater was not filtered; 150-200 litres of unfiltered waterwas run through a Grander Revitalisation unit. This

reduction of the mutagenicity of the organo-chloridecompounds has many possible future applications.
These impressive research results are one of the mainreasons why the two Russian scientists Rachmanin andKondratov (the latter gives the impression of being verymodest and uncomplicated but is considered by his peersto be Russias Einstein) travel to Jochberg at leastonce a year in a sort of pilgrimage, in order to discuss,
with Johann Grander and his in-house research team, further test possibilities, in as yet unexplored fieldsof application.

The reduction in the activity ofradionuclides through the use of
Grander Technology was more than20%. The different test results using theflexible apparatus and the rivitalisation
rod can be explained by the varyingexposure times. The water revitalised
using the flexible apparatus wasexposed to it for ten seconds, while
the revitalisation rod was left in
the water for 24 hours before themeasurements were taken.

China was one of the first countries to lookat the Grander Technology from a scientificviewpoint. As far back as anyone can remember
China has sent out scouts across the world to bring
back new water technologies. Johann Grander alsoreceived a visit years ago and was politely asked aboutthe ECO-Kat he had developed. The device was testedin Shanghai by the Chinese State Railway Companyand found to be good. The new research projects in theMiddle Kingdom accordingly fell on fertile soil. Thesetwo new projects are an investigation of plant growthand an attempt to reduce the quantities of chemicalscoupled with a simultaneous improvement in qualityin a textile dyeing factory in Hong Kong. Both finalreports are available in the original Chinese languageand in both German and English translations.

A new dissertation at the PolytechnicUniversity of Hong Kong examines
the application of the Grander Tech-nology at a textile-dyeing factory.
At the Polytechnical University in Hong Kong grad-uate student Wong Siu Kuen examined the applicationof Grander Technology in textile dyeing factories, whichoften find it difficult to comply with environmentalregulations and operate in a very competitive businesssector. Before a textile product can be sold, it must besubjected to dry and wet treatments. Experts know thatwith the wet treatment the quality of the water has adecisive effect on the quality of the final product. The
quality of water in Asia is often quite bad, and oneattempts to compensate for this by the addition of chem-icals such as metal masking products, anti-chlorine prod-ucts or resin treatment. The dosage of these chemicalsmust be calculated exactly as otherwise there is the riskof dyeing faults with a consequent inability to reproducethe products correctly. The study examines whether wa-ter revitalised using Grander Technology behaves differ-ently from local tap-water and whether it is possible byits use to reduce the environmental impact and costs.A summary of the results: Introducing the revitalisedwater system is a breakthrough for textile wet treatment,
because the revitalised water improves the effectivenessof the process. The most important point for the man-ufacturer is that the revitalising process does not resultin any by-products, and there is no need for electricpower, filters or chemicals. In other words, the instal-lation of a revitalised water system is the sole initialinvestment necessary, and the system proves itself tobe advantageous for the factory from the moment itis installed. The Institute for Vegetable Research and Qual-ity Assurance within the Ministry for Agriculturein Beijinghas performed plant tests with and withoutapplication of Grander Technology on behalf of NewDAWN Environmental Technology Co. Ltd. from HongKong. In a first study they planted youcai leaf vegetablesand radishes in various test plots, where four of the plotswere irrigated with non-revitalised tap-water and theother four plots with water revitalised using GranderTechnology. A Grander Revitalisation unit (11/4
size; W540) is fitted to the water-supply pipes to the
plots to be irrigated with revitalised water. The testswere performed in Beijing at the Supervision and Test-ing Centre for Vegetable Quality, Ministry of Agricul-ture, from 24 December 1999 to 14 March 2000. Toensure that the tests could be reproduced as accuratelyas possible, all the plots for the water cultures were builtup from the same basic materials: grass coal, firing slagand vermiculite. The results are obtained by calculatingthe mean value of plant tests made with large numbersof samples and they are therefore significant from astatistical point of view. The plants were observed andexamined during all important phases of growth.

Report on an investigation of veg-etable cultivation in China using theGrander Technology
The following parameters were tested and compared
using Grander revitalised water and non-revitalised
water:
Number of leaves
Vegetable mass above ground and root fibres
underground
Dry weight of the plant above ground and root
fibres underground
Nutrient content
Proportion of extracted fibreNa, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn
Sugar content, proteins, flavour
Yield
Results leaf vegetables:
Leaf canopies and root fibres are more developed
Vegetable mass and dry weight increase
Proportion of extracted fibres decreases
Intake of nutrients and trace elements improves
Yield increases by 13%
Roots are formed much faster in young plants, providing the plants with greater resistance during
their first phase. In the later growth phases, the
growth forces shift from the roots to the leaves.
Results radishes:
Vegetable mass and dry weight increase
Proportion of extracted fibres decreases
Intake of nutrients and trace elements improves
Yield increases by 12.75%
In the case of radishes it is noticeable that after an
initial strong development of leaves above ground, the increase in mass progressively shifts towards the
fruit as development proceeds. Non-revitalised plants
show a more uniform growth process. It seems that
revitalisation causes the plants strength to concen-
trate where it is needed most.
A second study shows the effect of the application
of the Grander system to tomatoes. Test period: 8
December 1999 to 12 June 2000. The experimen-
tal plots were set up as in the first study, although
some additional parameters were measured. Again
the high number of samples taken guarantees mean-ingful results.
Results tomatoes:The quality of the tomatoes was significantly improved
by using revitalised water:
Plant height: +13.07%
Stem thickness: +5.88%
Vegetable mass above ground: -2.67%
Dry weight of the plant above ground: +9.90%
Sugar: +24.56%
Lycopene: +25.48%
Increase of nutrients and trace elements
Extracted protein: +6.56%
Yield increase: +11.85%It seems worth noting that the vegetable mass and
the dry weight of the root mass of the plant were 71%
higher than those in the non-revitalised control group
during the early growth phase. The increase in sugar,
minerals, lycopene and the sugar-acid ratio signifi-
cantly improve the quality of the fruit. Additionally
the different sugar-acid ratio improves the flavour
of the tomato. Another interesting thing, already
described in the previous study, is that the plants con-
centrate their strength on building up a strong root
mass during their early phase, whereas the increasedgrowth shifts to the fruit in the later phase.
Conclusion:
It should be noted that in the experiments with
tomatoes the plants achieved greater height and a
better yield solely through revitalisation and with-
out additional fertilisation. The Chinese Institute for
Vegetable Research is convinced that the revitalisation
devices are uncomplicated to use and simple to imple-
ment and recognises their positive effect by awarding
the Academys seal, which is accepted world-wide andrecognised by the WHO.

Engineer Johannes Larch, head ofthe Grander Laboratory, helpedKlaus Fainer with his dissertation.
The dissertation Physical and Physical-Chemical Datain the Application of Revitalised and Non-revitalisedWater and the Use of Grander Water Revitalisation inIndustrywas written by Klaus Fainer at the Institutefor Process and Environment Technology at the Techni-cal University Graz under the tutorship and approval ofProfessor Rolf Marr. It contains some extremely inter-esting results. The dissertation comprises two parts:laboratory experiments comparing the physical prop-erties of water revitalised in accordance with GranderTechnology with non-revitalised water, and the resultsof a questionnaire returned by users of Grander Technol-ogy in various industries. In this research project KlausFainer is the first to prove systematically that waterrevitalised according to Grander undergoes a physicalchange. The result shows that the surface tension ofthe water is significantly reduced by as much as 17% following revitalisation according to Grander.
In order to be able to assess the significance of thisproof properly, it is essential to consider that it is oftennecessary to reduce the surface tension by adding chem-icals and detergents, or by raising the temperature. Theproof of this change in the surface tension of watersuddenly makes the statements issued by many usersof Grander Technology both plausible and comprehen-sible, when they say that they need fewer detergents,washing-up and household cleaning products but stillachieve the same cleaning effect at lower temperatures(thereby saving energy). Other traditional physicalparameters such as ion balance, density, electrical
conductivity, pH values etc. do not show any significantchanges.
The dissertation makes for thrilling reading whenthe subject switches to practical application. Ten busi-nesses, ranging from a public hospital to a chemicalcompany to a leading specialist plastics manufacturerwith global presence, were chosen to answer questionsabout their practical experience when using the GranderTechnology. The results illustrated by the student in his
dissertation are manifold. Companies and businessesare naturally mainly interested in the operational costsavings made possible by the application of this tech-nology. Savings in terms of chemicals were a particularfocus for measurements, with astonishing results: onecompany stated that they achieved annual savings ofATS 650,000 (Euro 47,237) compared to purchasecosts of ATS 160,000 (Euro 11,628). Interestingresults were posted by another company that did notexperience any significant changes. It was only after thedissertation had been completed that adjustments weremade within the company and all chemicals purged fromthe cooling circuits, resulting in complete microbiolog-ical sanitation of the circulation-system water.
This dissertation has brought science another stepcloser to the puzzle of water, and it will obviously notbe the last publication in this direction.
For anyone interested, the dissertation is obtainablein German in bound format.
