rowing boat) that will take us to Trang An, A UNESCO World Heritage . A rower will row the boat for

you, the technique they use to maneuver the boat inside the underwater caves is truly amazing.

Lunch in the open air (packed lunch will be provided by Chabad in Hanoi).

Visit Hoa Long Temple - The ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. Enjoying the

11th & 17th century architecture style, old sculpture – carving on wood & stone depicting the daily

lives, dreams and wishes for peace, good life, etc.

Drive back to Hanoi

Drive to Cat Cat to see the beautiful mountainous scenery and meet the local minorities.

Lunch break (sandwiches taken from the hotel in the morning) in the open air during the tour.

8:00 am Drive to Bac Ha, the capital of the region of the Flower Hmong, one of the 54 minorities of

Vietnam and of the six groups of Hmong people, Phu La, Back Dzao, Tay and Nung. It is famous for its

Sunday morning market, where thousands of locals

gathered, the women dressed in their very intricate handmade costumes and local hill tribes offer a

large range of local handicrafts including hand-made jewelry, scarves, wood carvings and more.

After lunch, take a boat ride on the Chay river lined by corn and vegetable fields, passing beautiful

villages, impressive waterfalls, gorges and caves as you journey downriver.

Stop halfway down the river to visit Trung Do, a village of the Tay minority people.

Take time to explore the farms where they grow exotic chilly and jack fruit. Sail a further 15 minutes

downstream to Bao Nhai village and disembark the boat.

Transfer to Lao Cai

8:00 am Drive to Halong Bay, one of Vietnam's greatest natural wonders and a world heritage park. (3

hours)

We will have 2 seaplanes, each plane can carry up to 850 kg - so we will have between 8 to 12

passengers per plane, depending on weight. Flight time 10:30 - 11:30.

11:30 am Check in at Paradise in Tuan Chau Island and embark our cruise ship starting with a

welcome drink and a briefing about the cruise.

Lunch will be on board at Le Martin Restaurant (Packed by Chabad).

The ship will take us through magnificent sights: islands, caves and rocks.

Our first stop is at Tung Sau Pearl Farm, an area in Halong Bay dedicated to growing pearls and

practicing a handmade technique based on Vietnamese tradition and Japanese technology. This is

also an ideal destination for an hour of kayaking or stay on board

and treat yourself to a delicious afternoon tea or an after noon at Le Parfum Spa.

Our second stop of the day is the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, where you can take in the panoramic

views across Halong Bay after visiting the cave.

Back on board - enjoy half-an-hour foot massage (included).

We anchor overnight at Coconut Tree Island.

After dinner we'll enjoy the entertainment offered onboard.

6:30 am You can start the morning by joining a Tai Chi group practicing on the ship's deck or watch the

sunrise over Halong Bay.

7:15 am Shacharit followed by visit to Titov Island, where we can enjoy swimming or hiking to the top of

the mountain for another stunning panoramic view of the bay.

We once again cruise past Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves and Fighting Cocks Island before

disembarking.

8:00 am travel to Angkor by midi buses and while in Angkor – we tour the area by Remork (Cambodian

tuk-tuk).

Visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient

capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over

200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and

the Terrace of the Leper King.

Afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat.

Lunch break (Packed by the hotel)

After lunch we will continue through rural countryside to the small but beautiful temple of Banteay Srei.

This temple is largely built of pink sandstone. We then take a Quad bike ride (2 pax per bike) during

sunset through Cambodian sites. If time allows

– visit Artisan d’Angkor.

meet our personal guide and drive to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek (16 km south of Phnom Penh).

Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and

infants (including nine westerners) detained and tortured at S-21 prison were transported to the

extermination camp of Choeung Ek. They were often bludgeoned to death to avoid wasting precious

bullets. Fragments of human bone and bits of cloth are scattered around the disinterred pits. Over

8,000 skulls, arranged by sex

and age, are visible behind the clear glass panels of the Memorial Stupa, which was erected in 1988.

After lunch we will continue to discover the Royal Palace built in 1866 by King Norodom and stroll in its

beautiful garden.

Visit the Silver Pagoda so named because of its floor that is comprised of 5,000 silver tiles.

Visit the National Museum.

Finish your tour at the city's namesake, Wat Phnom. Founded in 1373, the pagoda was built to house

Buddhist relics washed ashore by the river.

Later this afternoon enjoy one-hour sunset cruise on the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers. The boat will

pass past floating villages, providing great views of the city’s rapidly changing skyline

Meet our local guide and drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province

in the west of Vietnam. At Tay Ninh visit the Cao Dai Great Temple

which has begun in 1933 in a unique architectural style that reflects its blended traditions.

After lunch break (supplied by Chabad Saigon), continue to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an

underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle

for independence. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone

and was heavily bombarded.

7:45 Departure to Vietnam's rice basket of Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes

until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh

Trang Pagoda. Take a leisurely boat ride along the river, and view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and

fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet and then enjoy a boat ride to An Khanh

– a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of

the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit &

honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music“, performed by locals.

We will have a lunch break in one of the farms.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy &

observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.

Back to Saigon -Enjoy shopping at Ben Thanh market, one of the earliest surviving structures in

Saigon and one of symbols of Ho Chi Minh City, popular with tourists seeking local handicrafts, textiles,

ao dai, and souvenirs, as well as local cuisine.

6:00 pm AO show- It depicts the charming beauty and richness in culture of Vietnamese lives in the

countryside versus the country’s racing urbanization. The show is a mix of bamboo cirque, acrobatic

acts, contemporary dance and theatrical visual art. Mesmerizing live music, which echoes Southern

work songs, scenic lighting design, and unique bamboo creatures make this performance a must-see

during anyone’s visit to Ho Chi Minh City.
