Erin Booker bleeds Lake Regional blue.

“I was born at this hospital, so I’m a true product of this organization,” she says.

She is also a team member. She joined Lake Regional in 2015 as a housekeeper. She soon became a receptionist and is now a trainer in Lake Regional Learning and Development. She also is a proud HERO Club Committee Member.

The HERO Club is Lake Regional’s employee-only giving club. It supports Lake Regional’s Commitment to Caring Initiative, as well as an emergency assistance fund for Lake Regional team members. In fact, HERO Club members were the first to give to Commitment to Caring.

“We understood that others in our community would be more inspired to give if they saw Lake Regional team members giving first,” explains Lake Regional CEO Dane W. Henry, FACHE.

Booker joined the HERO Club out of gratitude and pride.

“I believe that greatness comes not from what you have but from what you give,” she says. “I want to give not only to my coworkers but to the community where

I was born and raised. The progress Lake Regional has made in 40 years is impressive. Most hospitals our size can’t and don’t do what we do!”

Like her fellow HERO Club members, Booker looks forward to seeing her giving transform local health care. She invites community members to be a part of building that future — and thanks those who have given already.

“At Lake Regional, we are family,” she says. “We do everything we can to care for each other and the people who trust us to help them. Giving to Lake Regional makes you a part of our family.”

Lake Regional is pleased to announce that Trish Creach has accepted the position of executive director of Philanthropy. Creach will lead Lake Regional’s efforts to rally community support for enhancing and expanding our services to provide the best possible health care now and in the future.

“Lake Regional Health System is vital to our community, and I have watched it grow from a smaller community hospital to a regional state-of-the-art medical destination,” Creach said. “I am excited to serve as executive director of Philanthropy to further engage the community with the ongoing transformation taking place at Lake Regional.”

Creach has served the last nine years as executive director of the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce and previously served 18 years as executive director of the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

Terri Hall, CTFA, continues to be the full-time director of Auxiliary Services and will focus her time and talents on rebuilding the volunteer and auxiliary program following the pandemic shutdown.

Lake RegionalPhilanthropyThroughout our history, Lake Regional Hospital has relied on the generosity of our community to advance our mission and to build our state-of-the-art facility. Lake Regional Fund Development accepts donations for Lake Regional Hospital, a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit community corporation.

Donors may designate their contributions for specific purposes. Otherwise, donations go into the hospital's endowment fund.

Your gift to Lake Regional's endowment fund is the strongest statement of support you can make for our continued growth, mission, vision and values. The principal of the fund (your donation) must remain intact, and the hospital cannot use generated income without approval from the Lake Regional Health System Board of Directors. By making a gift to the fund, you ensure the stability of the hospital for future generations.

Lake Regional Fund Development accepts donations in various forms, including:

To meet the growing needs of our region, Lake Regional is developing a Cardiac Institute and expanded Cancer Center with state-of-the-art technologies.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CARING

OUR GOAL

To provide one convenient location for all cardiac patients and cancer patients to receive exceptional patient-centered care.

OUR PLAN

To bring our cardiac team together in one facility with all of the technology, equipment and support needed to provide exceptional heart care, and to expand our cancer facility to provide more people in our area with compassionate, clinically excellent cancer services.

OUR NEED

To build a $25-million, three-story tower addition to house a new Cardiac Institute and expanded Cancer Center that will provide the highest quality care to the people of the Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding area.
