GRETSCH® RENOWN SERIES PUREWOOD OAK:

This USA Custom set was specifically designed at the USA Custom Drum Shop by Gretsch’s master drum builders and is truly a first for Gretsch. This initial run of satin hardware is used on all drum components - except floor tom legs & tension rods - and is limited to a total of 20 drum sets worldwide.

The Custom Shop selected traditional Red Duco, a standard-offer Gretsch finish, to complement the satin hardware. Red Duco is finished in Nitrocellulose gloss lacquer, and then hand buffed to achieve the classic Gretsch Duco appearance.
