Team ACAP will meet on Feb. 11th through March 26th (every Tuesday and Thursday) from 3:15 – 4:15. Students will be selected according to the iReady cut scores for participation in this program.

We are now accepting applications for our 2020-2021 Preschool Peer Model at Griggs Elementary. The Pre-K Screening sign-up is February 3-7, 2020, from 9:00-2:00 in the school office. During this week, you will come to the school office, fill out an application and choose a time for your child to attend the screening to be held on

Wednesday, February 12 or Thursday, February 13. Tuition for Pre-K is approximately $240/month, which is to be paid at the beginning of each month. Tuition is adjusted when school is not in session. To be eligible for the Pre-K program a student must:

Be four years old by September 1, 2020 Be fully toilet trained Attend the Pre-K Peer Model screening on February 12 or 13, 2020 Have a completed application on file Reside in Griggs Elementary school zone Demonstrate developmentally appropriate behaviors, language, adaptive skills and social skills.

These will be the only sign up dates and screenings for the 2020-2021 school year! We would love to welcome your child to this new group of Shining Stars. Please do not register your child online until you receive info from Griggs.

Griggs Robotics took 1st and 2nd place and overall Team Champions at the 1st annual

MCPSS Vex IQ Elementary competition. The team will travel to Auburn University

February 29th and compete at the STATE Robotics Competition!

Team Members are : Ethan Sutley, Ryker Hoppe, Izzy DeGregorio, Ellie Ouisy, Sara

Roland, Michael Howard- Blocker, and Lillian Strange.

Griggs would like to welcome Ms. Victoria Welch as a new 5th Grade Teacher. Ms. Welch is having a “Meet the Teacher” on Tuesday, February 4th from 6:30-7:15.
