Page Break/Next Page

Best to use Next Page to start a new section and page break just to start a new page.

Delete any unnecessary paragraphs using paragraph symbol.

Replace with page break when necessary.

Header and Footer

Applied to the first page of each section.

Double click on the Header of the page.

Make sure that Different First Page and Link to Previous are unchecked/disabled.

Apply to Footer as well.

Preliminary Pages

The page numbers will be at the bottom center of the introductory pages.

Use only Roman numbers for these pages.

The first page after Title Page starts with roman numeral two (ii)

How to Scroll to first preliminary page. Double click on the bottom of the page to

activate the footer.

Page numbers go on the top right hand corner.

Use regular (Arabic) number for these.

The first page, Introduction, starts on page 1.

Double click on Header.
