SCAVENGER HUNTEach team is provided with a digital camera, a map and clues. Explore and decipher the clues to learn something new about your team. This is a challenge that will take your group from one end of the resort to the other.

MYSTERY BOXComplete multiple puzzles and brain teasers on the way to discovering the mystery to unlock the box. Crack all the clues to figure out how to open the final “Mystery Box.”

HIGH ALTITUDE CHALLENGEFace your fears and discover how to manage and encourage your team through daunting challenges.

The following activities are included:• THE 40 FT CANOPY TOUR

Climb atop the 40-foot Ropes Course along with instructors and traverse through 11 different obstacles and 3 zip lines. Teammates are encouraged to support, suggest and challenge each other through obstacles.

• FATBIRD SUPER FLYER Experience a true adrenaline rush as you soar down a 1,700 ft. long zip-line, a 1,300 ft. zip-line, and conclude with a chair lift ride back to the top!

• THE WALL Come face-to-face with one of the tallest climbing walls on the East Coast and conquer any of the challenging routes. Support from teammates is highly recommended in this challenge.

RAFTING AND ROPESAn outdoor enthusiasts dream. Climb atop the 20’ Ropes Course while members of your team are challenged on a variety of different elements including the resort’s duelingzip-lines. Then head out on the Youghiogheny River on a guided trip as your team works together paddling through Class III and IV rapids.

LOW ROPESWithout the fear of heights, discover how to relate small obstacle challenges to the everyday work place. Low ropes activities engage team members in challenges that involve greater physical effort and emotional energy. Support, building trust, control and coaching are necessary to successfully complete these activities.

OFF-ROAD BONANZAGet ready to get dirty with one of our most adventurous team building activities. Participants get the opportunity to drive off-road vehicles throughout the miles of wooded trails. Hidden stops along the way provide group challenges ranging from archery to fishing and more. Instruction is provided.

OUTDOOR HIKINGThis program invites you take a step off the pavement and into the Great Outdoors. Enjoy the company of nature and wilderness as you work together to complete some of our teambuilding challenges along the way. Groups along with a facilitator will go for approximately a 3 mile hike completing a total of 3 challenges before concluding their journey.

BUILD A BOATBring your entire group for one of the most unique activities. We will provide you with the supplies: duct tape, 4X8 sheets of cardboard and garbage bags. Your team provieds the ingenuity. The ultimate goal, build a boat and paddle that will transport two of your team members across our family pool in a race for the quickest time.

BUILD A SLED (WINTER)Inspires creativity and promises fun. We provide the supplies and you supply the imagination and hard work. Each team is given duct tape, 4X8 sheets of cardboard and garbage bags. The ultimate goal, build a sled that is sure to be faster than your opponents. A hilarious event that brings out the creativity in everyone.

TOUR DE NEMACOLINThis exciting program allows you to build your team’s morale and communication skills while contributing to a community in need. As your team solves challenges, they will be given pieces of a bicycle. Each challenge completed moves your team closer to building a new bicycle for young children in the community. Your organization may chose where to donate the bicycles.

WACKY OLYMPICSExpect the unexpected with Nemacolin’s very own Olympic-themed games. Designed to illustrate a variety of skills including cooperation, ethics, communication, goal setting, leadership and fun.

MYSTIC ROCKPete Dye designed Mystic Rock paying particular attention to the environment, incorporating the large boulders unearthed during construction. Mystic Rock has a course rating of 77 and slope of 149 from the championship tees. As a former home to the 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA Tour event, Mystic Rock has played host to top professional players including Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh.

SHEPHERD’S ROCKShepherd’s Rock “is a great combination of the most unique and enjoyable golf holes we have built, combined with stunning mountain views that speak to your soul.” – Tim Liddy, Golf Course Architect.

The 7,151-yard Shepherd’s Rock golf course offers extraordinary golf in a spectacular setting. The rolling bucolic terrain is ideal to fully utilize Dye’s brilliant imagination in fashioning a routing that has drawn raves from both media

and guests. The layout is a perfect companion to Nemacolin’s PGA Tour-tested Mystic Rock.

GOLF ACADEMYThe Nemacolin Golf Academy offers an exceptional blend of instruction, club fitting and technology designed to help elevate your game. Our professional instructors use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to analyze swing, putter stroke and even ball flight to provide tailored instruction.

Our world-class facility’s golf technology includes: SAM PuttLab, V1 Video, BodiTracks and TrackMan.

INSTRUCTORSThe team is led by Eric Johnson, PGA , Golf Magazine “Top 100 Teacher” four times since 2011. He is the only Top 100 Teacher in the tri-state area and recognized by Golf Digest as a Top 40 under 40 Teacher. Johnson’s award-winning instruction combines the latest technology with a clear approach to the fundamentals of golf.


FIELD CLUB

Woven through 140 acres of woodlands, valleys and pastures of the Laurel Highlands, The Nemacolin Field Club houses one of the nation’s top sporting clays facilities and is the gateway to some of the finest fishing streams and

creeks in the Eastern United States.

SHOOTING ACADEMYFeaturing 35 sporting clay stations spread across two courses, towers and two five-stand, the Shooting Academy can be tailored to challenge everyone from the most seasoned wing shooter to the novice. National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA) certified instructors provide private lessons for beginners to advanced shooters.

ARCHERYBring out the competitive spirit in everyone. We also offer an archery trap that can throw flying targets. Catered towards beginners and children.

AIR RIFLETest your aim at the Air Rifle Range with clay targets. Catered towards beginners and children.

GUIDED BIRD HUNTS This 2-3 hour experience includes professional guides accompanied by a hunt dog on private property. Any hunter under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature.

FLY FISHINGThe Orvis® Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge at The Nemacolin Field Club is in a class by itself for anglers of any skill level. Anglers can choose from a number of Pennsylvania trout waters including the Youghiogheny River, Meadow Run, Dunbar Creek and Beaver Creek, where brown, brook and rainbow trout swim in numbers. Half and full-day guided trips are offered.

Activities Include: Open Fishing, Fly Fishing Lessons and Guided Trips.


WILDLIFE

BACKWOODS TRAIL RIDESTour the scenic beauty of the Laurel Highlands by horse on a two-mile wooded trail.

24-Hour Advanced Reservations required. All riders must be 55’’ or taller and wear appropriate footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open toe shoes).

PONY RIDESAll riders must wear appropriate footwear (recommend boots or tennis shoes, no open toe shoes) and be able to sit up on their own. Parents are not permitted to walk next to them.

DOG SLEDDINGWINTER & JAMAICANJoin a sled team on a ride throughout the resort.

Reservations Required. Weather permitting, and subject to availability. Two person maximum, combined weight of riders not to exceed 275 lbs. Minimum weight is 45 lbs. for children. Please wear appropriate clothing. Ride will run in the rain unless there is thunder and / or lightening. An ATV is used for dogs to pull & in lieu of a sled if there is not adequate snowfall.

TOURSENRICHMENTHelp a zookeeper create toys, treats and puzzles for some inquisitive animals at Nemacolin’s Wildlife Adventure.

Animals included are located at Nemacolin’s Wildlife Adventure. Tour does not include larger animals in habitats across property. Enrichment Tours are catered towards children.
