Globalization #1• My grandparents have been gone,

for some years now. My Granddad originally from Norway. Grandma was from Iowa. My granddad moved to Iowa for a better job where he meant my grandma. He worked as a farm hand, it was hard work in the fields of Iowa. Now they have farm equipment that does all the work he used to do by hand. He had a house with grandma & a huge dog named Duke. I used to ride him like a horse. I was skinny then. Now I have a bike, ride the train to college, and do asphalt work from an electric golf cart. I’m sure they would both say “Wow we hade it a lot harder than that!” I believe them!

TRAVEL #2• Well to tell the truth I haven’t been on a trip for years. I can’t drive because

of my injuries. I did travel long time ago while in the Navy. Lately my trips are to the V.A. in La Jolla. Those trips are an education by there self. Getting to O-side is easy now with the Sprinter Train. That is nice and conversation can be had. Then you have to go to the Bus 101, Heck on wheels for 2 ½ hrs it’s like a camel with three humps, noisy, hot , messy , crowded, in the winter add Wet. Sometimes conversations can happen. Usually I’m glad to get there alive. The ride back to O-side is like being Pulled by an angry Camel, the same one. I bring plenty of my pain Medicine

Possessions #3• Well I don’t have much work

only P/T. Not a whole lot of Big Money. I’m trying to get, Disability payments HAHA. I have basic stuff. I’m working on trying to get a modified C.B. for Ham use. I have my Schwinn it helps me to go to the places that I can’t reach by walking. I have a semi-large collection of DVD’s and VHS’s about 70 of each. Well used but still playing. I have my computer, Tools for work, and my health, I do suffer from many trauma’s. I’m used to living a little Spartan.

80’s-thru mid 90’s • 1976-80 After 2 yrs Of NROTC U.S.N. Honorable Discharge with ‘Letter of Appreciation’ & a

grade adv. Of 3.85 over 3 different USN Ratings, and experience’s that I’ll never forget.
