Profile

I am a 20 year old 2nd year student pursuing a

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. As

the 2012-2013 Accounting Representative for the

Faculty of Social Sciences Committee I feel I am

more than equipped to serve as the Faculty of

Social Sciences Representative on the Guild.

Experience has taught me the ins and outs of the position and it is my belief that I

can guide the committee to higher levels of success.

In addition, my experience extends to the posts of Treasurer and Floor Member as I

was involved in several committees at college level. My ability to multitask was

highly developed at that stage.

My varied experience coupled with my determination to see the Faculty excel puts

me in the position of best candidate for Faculty of Social Sciences Representative.

My dedication to the faculty knows no bound.

If elected, I will:

• Foster a family type environment and improve the level of communication

change and improvement within my

faculty. I would like to be an agent of change

who will aid in harnessing the untapped

potential of this faculty, in an effort to refresh

students’ memories as to why we are called the

“Art Beat of the Campus”.

This is why I, Emmanuella Louis, currently a second year student pursuing my

undergraduate degree in French and Spanish, put forward my bid for candidacy for the

post of Humanities and Education Representative.

Moreover, my interest in community service in my country and my current

involvement in various campus organisations such as UWISTAT, UWIHARP and

LUSAC have equipped me with the necessary skills needed to serve in this capacity.

In my quest to revitalise this faculty, I have outlined four major areas:
