Enjoy People & Walk Together

We have a staffed nursery upstairs for any tired or restless young ones (ages infant to 4 years), as well as a Cry Room at the back of the sanctuary with speakers for hearing the service.

Sundays 10:30-11:30 a.m. Kids Community Sunday Youth Nursery (infants thru 3yr) Middle School 3yrs - 4yrs 2nd - 3rd grade Sr. High K - 1st grade 4th - 5th grade

Adults Dissecting a Pastoral Call - The November class will be on the doctrine and practice of the pastoral Call. We will look at how the Bible informs and guides us in the way that we customarily identify the pastors who serve a given congregation in the LCMS, as well as how calling a pastor compares and contrasts with any other hiring process. We’ll sprinkle in a little bit of Lutheran Confessions, and I’ll also share from my personal experiences to give participants some sense of what it all looks like from the pastor’s perspective. (This is not to undo or supersede anything the Call Committee Chairman or the Circuit Visitor do, but done with their knowledge and approval.) Led by Pastor Mark in the Fellowship Hall

December Message Series December is filled with expectations! All month we live in eager anticipation as stores remind us how many shopping days left until Christmas, and the Post Office warns us about the last day we can send packages in order to get them to loved ones by the 25th. But of course the most important preparations are the ones in which we prepare our hearts for the true meaning of Christmas. That’s why we observe this church season called Advent, preparing ourselves for the celebration of Jesus’ first coming, born as a baby in Bethlehem. But it’s also a time to prepare ourselves for His second coming at a time only known to the Father, when He comes in glory. Let the countdown begin!

There are times when we need someone to pray for us, when we need others to help us stand firm and trust in God. Every Sunday there are people willing to pray for you and/or with you . There are great benefits to being bold and walking through the chapel doors. We are strengthened in prayer. If you would like to receive this gift, please go into the chapel either during the worship after the message or during the communion time.

Come on three Wednesdays in December (4, 11, 18) to let the “Dreams of Christmas” fill your heart and soul with the perfectness of God’s plan: His timing, His mode of disclosure, and His choice of people.

The evenings begin with a dinner of Christmas food from around the world at 6:00 p.m. The service commences at 6:45 p.m. with worship. (The youth will still meet in their group.)

Thanksgiving Eve Service

Pastor Chuck Roluffs will be bringing the message this coming Wednesday at 7:00. Come and sing of God’s goodness in this last year. (There will not be a dinner or youth group.)

Decking the Halls...Together We will be decking the halls next Sunday in lieu of the classes. The fun, food and music begin right after the worship service.
