Listen Here , Listen There (A harmonious collaboration by SFPL colleagues and volunteers.) Welcome to this jam-packed (so to speak) yet easy-going workshop. We will demonstrate a few free, and hopefully easy, ways to listen to music and other content on computers, smartphones, tablets, and other digital devices. Here is a handy handout to some of the resources we’ll share. You can always find the latest PDF of this handout (with clickable links to all of the sites) at sfpl/projectread/instructionalresources . Enjoy! Love your San Francisco Public Library even more than before: Alexander St Press, sfpl.org & your SFPL Card Stream, send, and share an incredible variety of music and other recordings. Thanks SFPL! Hoopla, sfpl.org & your SFPL Card Free music (spoken word and lots of other content, too) courtesy of your San Francisco Public Library! Care to access some other public library systems? Did you know that California residents can belong to many other California public libraries? Every library system is unique and offers a variety of resources to meet the needs of its community. Visit the library websites or take a field trip to see the fine work done by our colleagues throughout the Bay Area. Many are easily accessible by BART and other mass transit. Apply (in person) for a library card from that system and you will be able to borrow materials and use many of their online resources. Please Note: Many of the following resources are commercial sites that currently offer free/advertising-based services. San Francisco Public Library has no direct relationship with them nor endorses them.
