Most people feel much happier and more energized due to increased sunny days I am definitely enjoying this season. I love to see the trees and flowers blooming.

We are starting a training with the new season for Home Health Aides on March 6th. We will be offering training every other month. This training will help us to employ the best quality Caregivers. We are com-mitted to providing you the best services. Have a wonderful Spring!

Special Documentary ViewingOn Tuesday, March 14th,

Kelly from Heart to Heart

Hospice will be bringing

in a special documentary

entitled, “Being Mortal”.

This program will be from

6-7:30pm.

This event is open to the public so invite family and friends to join you. In Being Mortal, bestselling author Atul Gawande tackles the hardest challenge of his profession: how medicine can not only improve life but also the process of its ending. Gawande, a practicing surgeon, addresses his profession’s ultimate limitation, arguing that quality of life is the desired goal for patients and families. Gawande offers examples of freer, more socially fulfilling models for assisting the infirm and dependent elderly .Full of eye-opening research and riveting storytelling, Being Mortal asserts that medicine can comfort and enhance our experience even to the end, providing not only a good life but also a good end.

R E S I D E N T SPOTLIGHTOur Spotlight Resident of the Month is Mike S. Mike was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on December 13th 1949 just 2 minutes after midnight. Chinese New Year Family Night

VOLUNTEERSWe are looking for several volunteers who would be interested in tending the Marketplace store once per week for about an hour. If you are at all interested, please speak to Ruth and she can give you the de-tails. If you would like to volunteer with a friend, that would work too.

ART CLASSWe have a new art class that meets in the marketplace on the 300 hall. The class begins at 2pm and meets every other Friday. This is not arts and crafts. We will explore differ-ent mediums for example, wa-ter color painting, clay sculp-ture, pastel chalks, mosaics just to name a few. Come down and try your hand at creativity!

FAMILY NIGHTEveryone is invited to this month’s Family Night with an IRISH theme. We will be having a special Irish luncheon that day.
