and then disappoints us. The

children can become a problem.

Within the last two weeks I have

handled difficult marriage issues.

Some husbands have ran away

from their marriages. They have

give up. In one case, a wife has ran

away leaving her husband who is

now so frustrated. Things have not

worked well as per plans.

One husband is almost giving up after he

lost millions of shillings in a deal that

went sour. Indeed he was conned. This is

affecting his marriage life.

I don’t know about you? May be issues

have come and are affecting your plans

and you are feeling very frustrated. My

advice to you is to put everything to God.

Learn to listen to Him for direction.

1. DON’T GIVE IN TO ANGER.

Every one of us is tempted to get

mad when things don’t go our way.

But anger DELAYS the outcome we

want. Anger does not achieve the

righteousness of God.

NOTICE: anger doesn’t ‘achieve’… When you realize it won’t achieve anything, anger loses its control over you! We can’t control who knocks at our door, but we CAN CONTROL who we let in.

The temptation to live in anger subsides when we know God is going to work this thing out for our good.

2. DON’T QUIT.

If your prayer isn’t answered, what happens? You might say, “Well God, maybe it wasn’t YOUR WILL for me to have this.” But if it wasn’t God’s will for you to have it, then why ask Him for it to begin with?

SINCE GOD’S WORD IS HIS WILL, before

you ask for anything, simply find a

promise for it in Scripture.

1 John 5:14-15

‘Now this is the confidence that we have

in Him, that if we ask anything according

to His will, He hears us. And if we know

that He hears us, whatever we ask, we

know that we have the petitions that we

have asked of Him’.(NKJV)

ask for. It’s yours. It just hasn’t

shown up yet!

Resist the temptation to give up,

by knowing its God’s job and His

promise to bring it to pass!

3.DON’T THROW AWAY YOUR

CONFIDENCE in the GOODNESS OF

GOD.

We may not understand all that

happens in our lives, BUT GOD IS

STILL A GOOD GOD. No matter what

has happened or hasn’t happened,

don’t let life’s problems dictate what

you are going to believe about God.

Don’t give up in your marriage even when your plans don’t succeed. You must learn to adjust your plans. Don’t be rigid.

Sit, relax and trust God to allow His plans to work out in your marriage. Learn to adjust your plans to God’s plans and you will enjoy your marriage.
