June 14.OH MY GOSH. Nana is basically forcing me to go to that Summer Cotillion she is organizing. I remember last year’s cotillion, which was a horrifying experience. In last year’s cotillion, no one would ask me to dance for the first hour. In the second hour, a boy did asked me to dance, but I think it was JANET & NANCY’s prank, since they laughed so hard after itfinished. I absolutelyhated it.THERE’S NOT A CHANCE I’M GOING TO THAT DANCE.

June 15WOW. I had another uncle? Mom and Dad just told me this evening about my ‘another’ uncle Adam, and that he will be coming to Nana and Papa’s because his ‘special school’ is closing. But I saw that my parents are avoiding to speak more of Adam. He is retarded I guess, but is that the only reason they kept him hid away? I don’t know... After all, I’ll meet him very soon.

June 17Adam came today. In my whole life, he is the strangest/weirdest person I’ve ever met, but not in a bad way. He is not much different from other people, and is quite similar to me. I guess that I like Adam after all. He is quite nice and kind, except for the fact that he falls short of Nana’s expectations of being a perfectionist.

July 3I went to the carnival a couple weeks ago, and met Leila, the circus girl. We soon became friends, and I introduced Adam, which she did not showed any repulsion toward him (I’m very glad about that). I just received an invitation letter to my own birthday party from Adam and Leila, which is on the same date as the cotillion. When Nana heard this, she only had to consent me to miss the cotillion and go to the birthday party (Adam was making a fuss). Well, thank goodness I didn’t have to go to the cotillion!

July 15It is a disaster. It happened when he escaped from Nana’s house to join me and Leila to go to the carnival. I shouldn’t have ridden on that ferris wheel whether Adam insisted on riding one. Then the ferris wheel stopped suddenly. I thought it would be all okay, but then... Adam went insane. Banging the bars, shrieking, and trying to climb out of the car, I realized he was different. Different from the Adam I knew. I was afraid of this stranger sitting next to me. Then the ferris wheel was fixed, the police came, and Dad and Papa came too. I tried to stop the police from taking Adam away, but Dad pulls me away. I know Adam will be back, but I know I am in a big trouble.
