A revised Farm Safety Code of Practice with a green cover came into operation on July 1, 2017. The old version was phased out over a period of 18 months from that date. This means that all persons should now be using the revised version. TAMS II schemesAll TAMS applicants must have

completed either the half-day

Farm Safety Code of Practice

course (given by Teagasc or

other trained persons), or the

QQI Level 6 Advanced

Certificate in Agriculture

(Green Cert.) within the last

five years prior to submission

of a payment claim.
