Environment: is everything around you, including the things you cannot see. The following are
examples of how the environment can affect your health.

Peers: Someone who is the same age or is in the same grade as you and who has similar interest Peers can have both
positive and negative affects on your health.
For example, peers can help you make good decisions in difficult situations (positive influence) or they can push you into making a poor decisions (negative influence)

o Media: The media is a major source of information about health. Newspaper, television, radio, and the web are just some examples of media.
o Not all media messages are beneficial or should be believed.
o For example, products that promise that you can lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time would not be an accurate source of information.
