HEALTH DEAN RESEARCH2019 / 2020 Summer Scholarship Program Application

The Health Dean (Research) Office is offering students a 4-6 week summer scholarship to allow students the opportunity to gain experience in the field of research.

The summer scholarship program is $1 750 (paid as a lump sum) for the project timeline.

The project is to be started and completed within Trimester 3 dates (28 October 2019 - 14 February 2020).

Applications:Applications open from Friday 16 August 2019.

Applications to be submitted by the student to their schools HDR Convenor by Friday 20 September 2019.

Schools to submit the ranked applications to the Dean Research Office for consideration by: Friday 27 September 2019 using the email addresshealth-dean-research@griffith.edu.au

Successful applicants will be notified by the Dean Research Office during week of 7 October 2019 and asked to complete relevant offer acceptance and financial application forms.

Reporting:Successful applicants will be required to provide a written summary of the project and outcomes by 28 February 2020.

- be enrolled in the Griffith Health Group- be a second or third year enrolled undergraduate and have completed 160

credit points or more- or a first year postgraduate student considering the dissertation pathway- have GPA >5.5 in their current program- provide a current curriculum vitae- provide a current Griffith transcript- have supervisor support for the project and be realistic with the time-frame - have not been a Health Dean Research Summer Scholarship recipient
