Healthy RelationshipsHelping to raise young people’s awareness
What is the Healthy Relationships ProgrammeThe Healthy Relationships Programme is part of the Hertfordshire’s Child Sexual Exploitation campaign that enables young people to recognise and develop healthy relationships so that they are less vulnerable to exploitation.
What does the programme include?Group work sessions will be delivered by qualified and experienced Youth Workers and participants will be supported through each step of the programme.
Staying safe online
The importance of establishing and respecting boundaries within relationships
Sexting, Selfies and the law
Sex and Pornography
Understanding consent
Power and sexual violence
Support and signposting.
Do you know a young person who might be:
Going missing from home or school
Participating in risky behaviours including substance abuse and unsafe sex
Involved in inappropriate relationships including those with other young people and / or adults
Experiencing low self-esteem.
How long is the programme?The Programme will run for 2 hours a week for 8 weeks.
Who is it for?Young people aged 14+
What are the benefits of the programme?
Helps young people make informed, safe choices and to have appropriate, healthy and safe relationships
Raise young people’s awareness of child exploitation
Gives young people the opportunity to think about their own relationships and boundaries and respect
Promotes discussion among peers and enables young people to get support and help.
