Basic knowledge regarding the operation of RÜBIG plasma nitriding equipment

Module 3: Training aims: Following the training session, the participants should be able to operate RÜBIG plasma nitriding equipment, as well as set up the respective standard programmes. They should be able to carry out loading processes and production set-ups independently and effectively, whilst taking into account RÜBIG-specific control mechanisms. Accordingly, maintenance works, as well as the quick identification and rectification of faults, will also be conveyed. Following the training session, the participants should be familiar with the respective mechatronics, as well as their functions, and should also be familiar with the respective approach so as to identify electrical and mechanical faults.

Module 3: Requirements: Good prior knowledge of mechanical and electric / electronic systems

Module 3: Target audience: Machine operators, tool setters, maintenance and repair personnel

Training content:→ Typical set-up of a plasma nitriding system

→ Typical set-up and operation of the respective control mechanisms

→ Electrical set-up of the equipment → Typical set-up of a circuit diagram → Explanation of the electric monitoring circuits

→ Explaining the respective operating media

→ Error notifications and how to fix them

→ Safety devices / safety regulations

→ Error diagnostics

→ Leak detection / leak tests

→ Regular maintenance

→ Practical exercises: → Loading programmes → Test nitration → Loading components → Setting up thermocouples → Error diagnostics → Replacing standard components → Calibrating operational equipment

Module 4:Procedural use of plasma nitriding equipmentAppointment by arrangement

Procedural application of RÜBIG plasma nitriding equipment for advanced learners

Module 4: Training aims: The aim is to perfect the respective operation of RÜBIG plasma nitriding equipment. Following the training session, the participants shall have fundamental knowledge in regard to common nitriding procedures and should also be able to set up complex processes and programs quickly and effectively. Furthermore, they should be able to carry out production and quality optimisation measures independently.

Module 4: Requirements: Machine operation, Module 3

Module 4: Target audience: Advanced operating personnel: tool setters, machine operators, master craftsmen, application engineers

Training content:→ Basic information regarding the various nitriding procedures: → Plasma nitriding / plasma nitrocarburizing → Gas nitriding / gas nitrocarburizing

→ Nitriding parameters and their effect on the respective nitriding results: → Temperature → Time → Pressure → Plasma parameter → Gas mix

→ Drafting and modifying recipes

→ Reviewing trend records and histories

→ Practical exercises: → Compiling and modifying recipes → Interfering in ongoing processes → Loading complex components

Terms and conditionsLimited number of participants: each module shall be limited to 15 participants, but shall consist of at least 3 persons. Registrations will be carried out after the date of receipt of the respective applications.

Upon registration, the following terms and conditions shall be binding:The attendance fee for the respective module as part of the “RÜBIG heat treatment seminar” shall include the services listed within this programme folder. The attendance fee shall be per person. All prices exclude the legal value added tax. The attendance fee shall be due upon the submission of an invoice. Attendance shall only be possible if the full invoice amount has been paid before the respective course‘s start date. The attendance fee does not include the cost of accommodation. The event organisers shall not be responsible for booking accommodation. Together with the registration confirmation, a non-binding list of hotel recommendations will also be sent. By quoting the respectively listed discount code, the hotel will make a suitable room available accordingly.

The event schedule may be subject to change. Upon receipt of your written application, you will be registered as an attendant, as well as receive written confirmation and an invoice. Should you decide to cancel your attendance after 11th May 2018, or should you fail to attend, the full attendance fee will be charged. However, a replacement attendee may be sent instead. An administrative fee of EUR 150.00 will be charged in the event of a cancellation. Should the organiser decide to cancel the event, any attendance fees paid thus far shall be reimbursed. There shall be no other valid claims against the event organiser. Should the event be rescheduled, the respective registrations shall remain valid.
