Hello, and welcome to this introduction to the STM32H7 Series training session. It describes the feature sets of the various lines available in the STM32H7 microcontroller series.

The STM32H7 series includes three product line groups:Dual-core lines: Arm® Cortex®-M7 and Cortex®-M4 cores can respectively run up to 480 MHz and 240 MHz enabling more processing and application partitioning. Dual-core STM32H7 product lines are available with an embedded SMPS for improved dynamic power efficiency.Single-core lines: single-core Cortex®-M7 offers either great performance at 480 MHz or a unique combination of performance and power saving at 280 MHz and 34 µA (typ) in STOP mode.Value lines: With an embedded 128 Kbyte Flash memory, the STM32H750/B0 MCUs are cost-effective STM32H7 devices

The STM32H742 Single core line is :• An entry level version of the STM32H7 series

• Easy migration from the F7 and F4 series due to the pin for pin compatibility on common packages

• Offers a wide choice of packages and form factors

The STM32H743/STM32H753 product line is similar to STM32H742 devices and includes TFT-LCD, JPEG and EthernetThe STM32H753 is a crypto variant offering security services (SFI and SB-SFU).

The STM32H7A3/STM32H7B3 product line is a single core device with high memory integration, it offers:• LDO and SMPS for optimized power consumption• A wide choice of packages and form factorsThe STM32H7B3 is a crypto variant offering security services (SFI and SB-SFU).

The STM32H750 Value line of microcontrollers embeds an Arm® Cortex®-M7 core (with double-precision floating point unit) running up to 480 MHz. The embedded Flash memory of 128 Kbytes allows ST to offer a cost-efficient solution for developers.

The STM32H7B0 Value line of microcontrollers also embeds an Arm® Cortex®-M7 core (with double-precision floating point unit) which runs at up to 280 MHz. The embedded Flash memory of 128 Kbytes allows ST to offer a cost-efficient solution for developers.It come natively in Crypto variants only

The STM32H745/H755 lines combine the performance of the Cortex-M7 (with double-precision floating point unit) running up to 480 MHz with the one of the Cortex-M4 core (with single-precision floating point unit). It offers:LDO and SMPS for optimized current consumptionA wide choice of packages and form factors suitable for highly integrated applicationsOptional support of extended Temperature range on specific part numbers.

The STM32H755 is a crypto variant offering security services (SFI and SB-SFU).

The STM32H747/H757 lines combine the performance of the Cortex-M7 (with double-precision floating point unit) running up to 480 MHz with the one of the Cortex-M4 core (with single-precision floating point unit). It offers:LDO and SMPS for optimized current consumptionA wide choice of packages and form factors suitable for highly integrated applications.

The STM32H757 is a crypto variants offering the security services (SFI and SB-SFU).

The STM32H7 series can be encapsulated in a wide range of packages with a partial compatibility with the F7 series.Note that the STM32H7 lines are not pin compatible in between each other. This is mainly due to the dedicated SMPS and DSI Phy pins.
