Access to the system using browser. Recommended Mozilla Firefox / Chrome or you can access to the system by clicking helpdesk icon in http://potal.um.edu.my.
Step 1: Type http://helpdesk.um.edu.my
Step 2: Helpdesk screen will appear and
Step 3: Click on Student & Staff Button to enter the system.
Step 4: Central Authentication System CAS LOGIN Screen will appear. Use your username & password for UMMAIL in order to access the system.
Step 5: User type option screen will appear. Please select your option.

Step 6 : After done login into the system, first page will show the history / status page for every complaint / “aduan” that have been made.
You can view the details by clicking using your mouse on to the Ticket No. column.
The Status column shows the status of each ticket.
Step 7: Click on to the “New Problem” hyperlink on the left pane of the screen for you to make a new complaint / “aduan”.
Step 8: Then a screen of dynamic form name Register Problem will appear and you can start registering your complaint/ “aduan” now.
