daughter named Diane. Lynford and Ar-lean raised their family on their farm inSaline Township. Arlean is also a grand-mother to two beautiful granddaughters;Rebecca and Brittany.

Arlean is very creative here at LindenSquare. You can almost always catch herworking on a puzzle in one of the Life En-richment Rooms or working on a hookrug in her room. She loves to socialize withher friends during our cookie socials! Oneof Arlean’s favorite meals is meat and po-tatoes with gravy. She absolutely loves icecream! She’ll eat ALMOST any kind of icecream but she does not like chocolate.When asked what her favorite thing about

living at Linden Squarewas, Arlean stated thatshe is happy she doesn’thave to worry about athing because every-thing is done for her.

We are so excited tohave Arlean as a residentat Linden Square andwe’re looking forward tomaking many morememories with her!

Arlean R.Linden Square Assisted Living is proud

to be the home of Arlean R! Arlean wasborn on February 14 in Saline, Michigan.She recalls her parents being very happy,loving, and taking care of their family of 6.Both of Arlean’s parents worked as farmersthroughout her childhood. She has 5brothers and sisters; Robert, Viola,Gilbert, Andrew, and Irene, Arlean beingthe second youngest. Arlean and her sib-lings grew up in Saline Township in a 1story farmhouse. One of her granddaugh-ters is currently living in Arlean’s child-hood home! She was very fortunate in thather family did not move around while shewas growing up and she was able to grad-uate from Saline HighSchool.

Arlean met the loveof her life in highschool,Lynford R. He was afarmer just like Arlean’sparents. They were mar-ried at St. John’s churchin Saline, MI. After theywere wed, Lynford wasa farmer and Arleanspent her time as ahome maker. Together,they had one lovely

In his free time, Alex enjoys reading books,watching movies, and cooking. He loves the HarryPotter Books, Twilight Series movies, and Titanic!He enjoys cooking and even volunteers at a localsoup kitchen helping to feed people. His favoritefoods to cook and eat are Chili with deer meat andChicken Noodle Soup. Sometimes, Alex is very for-tunate to go on vacation with his family! They’vebeen to Mackinac City, Sault Ste. Marie, and theSoo Locks. Ultimately, Alex would really love to visitAlaska because he’d like to see the North Pole! Whentheir schedules allow, Alex also really loves to spendtime with his family watching movies, cooking, andworking around the house. Alex also volunteers withThe Boy Scouts in Tecumseh. Some of Alex’s otherhobbies include hiking the trails in Tecumseh, goingto plays, and going to choir concerts at local schools.Alex has one dog named Taffy. She is a very laid-back 12-year-old, until she sees a squirrel! She lovesto play with her ball, take baths, and sleep with her

best friend Alex at night.Alex’s favorite dessert is

ice cream! He eats ice creamall year round and especiallyadores chocolate ice cream!Alex’s personal motto in life is“Why fit in when you wereborn to stand out” by Dr.Seuss. Alex states he enjoysworking at Linden Square be-cause people are friendly andalways helpful, and it’s mov-ing all the time so it keepshim busy. We couldn’t behappier to have such a hard-working, team player in ourbuilding and we are lookingforward to many more mem-ories with Alex T.!

March’s Linden Leader, Alexander Roy T.! He is oneof the very hardworking members that makes up theHousekeeping team!

Alex was born at St. Joe’s Hospital in Ann Arbor,MI on July 4th to parents Matt and Lynn. Alex isone of three boys; Joe and Chris are his brothers.Alex’s mother, Lynn, works for Goodwill Industriesas a Life Skills Coach and Alex’s father works forGerdau in a steel mill. One of the things Alex reallyloves about his parents is that they’re there for himwhen he needs help and they love to spend timewith him. Alex and his siblings grew up in Salinebut currently live in Tecumseh, MI.

Growing up, Alex attended Tecumseh AcresSchool where his favorite subjects were science andhistory. Later on, Alex attended Tecumseh PublicSchools where he won academic awards and a KeyClub award for the most volunteer hours in theschool! A favorite memory from high school is whenAlex and his entire choir classwent to Festival. He reallyloved science in high schoolbecause of the experiments hegot to conduct in his class.Alex graduated from highschool in 2015. After highschool, Alex attended Michi-gan Career and Technical In-stitute (MCTI) for hiscertificate in the CustodialProgram. He graduated fromthis program in 2016, and hisfirst job was as a Custodianfor the Tecumseh schools!Alex enjoys the cleaningprocess, but especially enjoysthe results!

Dear Residents, Family and Friends of Linden Square:I am pleased to let you know that Robert Boyd is

joining us to serve in the position of Administrator.Robert comes to Linden Square with a vast back-

ground in leadership, development and customer serv-ice in the Healthcare industry. As a licensed NursingHome Administrator including experience as the Re-gional Operations Director over the past nine years hehas developed, implemented, supervised and managedseveral skilled nursing facilities, a long term care acutehospital (LTACH) and an assisted living facility. Hecontinues to maintain valuable relationships with hun-dreds of businesses, physicians, Assisted Livings, andSkilled Nursing Facilities. He is a firm believer of work-ing as one team, with a positive and enthusiastic atti-tude. Robert has three adult daughters and is excited inbeing a part of the Linden Family.
