Hezbollah's Nazi roots

Across the Middle East, radical Islamists yearn for a new Holocaust

This is the first Middle East war in which the main threat to Israel comes, not from secular

Arab nationalism, but from Islamism.

Both Hezbollah and Hamas draw their main inspiration, armaments and funding from Islamist

sources, ranging from the Sunni ideologues of the Muslim Brotherhood to the Shiite

demagogues of Iran. What unites them all is a fanatical dedication to the destruction of Israel.

Sounding like a modern-day Hitler, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad this week

repeated his call for the "elimination" of Israel, home to six million Jews. Hezbollah, Iran's

proxy army in Lebanon, shares that objective. Its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has urged the

world's Jews to collect in Israel in order to facilitate the task of exterminating them.

In this regard, there are parallels between the present war and previous campaigns waged

against Israel by Arab nationalists. One thing that Arab nationalists and Islamists clearly have

in common, though it is usually ignored in the Western media, is their explicit debt to the

Nazis.

This extends even to overt Nazi symbolism. I am indebted to one of the most seasoned

observers of the Middle East, Tom Gross, for a photograph of a Hezbollah rally on the

Lebanese side of the border fence, shortly before the present conflict. With houses in the

Israeli town of Metullah in the background, hundreds of uniformed Hezbollah terrorists are

raising their arms in a Nazi-style salute. This obscene ceremony, complete with yellow

standards and mullah commanders taking the salute, was happening in full view of Israeli

civilians. Mr. Gross asks pointedly, "Are all those now attacking Israel around the world even

capable of imagining what an elderly Holocaust survivor who happened to glance across the

fence might have felt?"

Hezbollah's Nazi salute evokes memories of Hitler's support for Arab agitators such as the

Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the leaders of a pro-Nazi coup in Iraq. The Nazi legacy also

manifests itself in Holocaust denial or revisionism, a Middle Eastern obsession that unites the

most extreme Islamists, including Iran's president, with "moderate" secularists such as

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Arabs appropriated anti-Semitic ideology directly from the Nazis and have recycled it

ever since. In the 1950s, the Baathist parties in Syria and Iraq modelled themselves on Hitler's

heady brew of nationalism and socialism. Charismatic dictators from Nasser and Gaddafi to

Saddam Hussein and Yasser Arafat turned themselves into little Hitlers, weaving anti-

Semitism into their political agendas. However, the Nazi connection is usually mentioned by

Arab nationalists and Islamists sotto voce, because they constantly identify Zionism with

Nazism in their propaganda.

A second key similarity between today's Islamists and past Arab nationalists relates less to

ideology than to geopolitics. As the British historian Efraim Karsh convincingly shows in his

new book, Islamic Imperialism, the pursuit of empire through ruthless military conquest has

been a constant theme from the time of Muhammad till that of Osama bin Laden, whose jihad

is aimed at creating a timeless, universal Caliphate.

Yet the dominant historical narrative stands this on its head, portraying the Arabists and

Islamists as anti-imperialist. Even as Gamal Abdel Nasser dreamt of what John Dulles called

"an empire stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Atlantic Ocean," the Egyptian dictator

posed as the champion of the "non-aligned" nations, struggling against European colonialism

and superpower hegemony.

The whole issue of imperialism is invariably accompanied by much hypocrisy. Today, for

example, America is criticized because of its refusal to intervene to stop Israel from retaliating

against Hezbollah. America's critics are demanding that a superpower should intervene to

prevent a sovereign state from defending its population against bombardment by proxies of a

government that has declared its intention of wiping that state off the map. What could be

more imperialist than such an intervention?

The classic example of Arab exploitation of the West's confusion over imperialism was the

Suez crisis of 1956. Fifty years ago this week, Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal, thereby

precipitating an international crisis. The British prime minister, Anthony Eden, decided it was

his duty to reject appeasement and stop Nasser. But President Eisenhower, campaigning for

re-election, refused to have anything to do with it. And American and Russian pressure

eventually forced the British and their allies to back down.

So Nasser snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, and the Arab war against the West began.

Fifty years on, it is by no means over. Indeed, if those Nazi-saluting Hezbollah thugs are

anything to go by, we may have seen nothing yet.

Hezbollah's Nazi Tactics

By STEVEN STALINSKY | July 26, 2006

"Just like Hitler fought the Jews, we are a great Islamic nation of jihad, and we too should

fight the Jews and burn them."

— Hisham Shamas, political science student, at a symposium hosted by Hezbollah's Al-

Manar TV at Lebanon's largest and only government-run university, Université Libanaise,

November 29, 2005

In June 1944, a Red Cross delegation was invited by Nazi Germany to Theresienstadt, a "spa

town" where elderly German Jews could "retire" in safety, according to Nazi propaganda.

However, it was really a transit camp for Jews on their way to Auschwitz.

In preparation for the delegation's visit, the camp underwent a beautification program, with

gardens planted and barracks renovated. The Nazis produced a film using Jewish prisoners to

show the world how well they were being treated (the entire "cast" would later be sent to

Auschwitz). Theresienstadt served an important propaganda function for the Germans, and it

is known by historians as an "an elaborate hoax."

Taking a page directly from the Nazis' propaganda playbook some 62 years later, the terror

organization Hezbollah is manipulating the press in the same way. Hezbollah's press officer,

Hussein Nabulsi, has been giving Western press and broadcast outlets, including CNN, the

Boston Globe, and the Chicago Tribune, daily tours of bombed-out Hezbollah-controlled

southern Beirut.

During the July 18 broadcast of Wolf Blitzer's "Situation Room" on CNN, Mr. Nabulsi took a

CNN correspondent, Nic Robertson, to a bombed-out area he said was "only inhabited by

innocent civilians." Mr. Robertson was overtly sympathetic to Hezbollah's claims, telling

viewers, "We didn't see any evidence of military infrastructure."

Mr. Roberston's sympathy for Hezbollah later was criticized on multiple blogs; even the host

of CNN's "Reliable Sources," Howard Kurtz, asked his colleague, "To what extent do you feel

like you're being used to put up the pictures they [Hezbollah] want?"

In a report for the July 21 Boston Globe, Thanassis Cambanis wrote about his tour of the

same area with Mr. Nabulsi, who admitted that his office — Hezbollah's press office —

which he said was located in a "civilian area," was bombed. The Globe reporter wrote that the

area "is full of obvious Hezbollah targets, including the organization's headquarters, its media

office … nestled among thousands of civilian homes."

Just as the Nazis had their weekly newspaper, Der Stürmer — which was a significant part of

their propaganda apparatus, spreading venomous anti-Semitic caricatures and themes,

including the blood libel and the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" — Hezbollah has its own

radio station and TV channel, Al-Manar.

Al-Manar is similarly a vehicle for spreading classic anti-Semitic subject matter, from Nazi

forgeries to the blood libel and attacks on Judaism. The channel also frequently airs programs

devoted to the killing of Jews and destruction of Israel. (See www.memritv.org to view

examples.)

Hezbollah celebrates Holocaust denial, as well. "Jews invented the legend of the Holocaust,"

the leader of Hezbollah, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, said on April 9, 2000. During an appearance

on Al-Manar on February 3, Sheik Nasrallah called Europe's leading Holocaust denier, Roger

Garaudy, "a great French philosopher." On February 23, Sheik Nasrallah appeared on Al-

Manar and praised another leading European Holocaust denier, David Irving, for having

"denied the existence of gas chambers."

While Hezbollah has embraced much of Nazi Germany's anti-Semitism, it is not the heir

apparent of the Third Reich. That distinction belongs to the Islamic Republic of Iran, which

today has set out to launch World War III.

Just as Nazi Germany used its cohorts in France and Italy to carry out its killing, Hezbollah is

following orders from its master Iran, which created it on February 16, 1985. Hezbollah's

official manifesto includes a picture of "our leader," Ayatollah Khomeini, on its back cover. A

Washington Post article from that year reported that Iranian Revolutionary Guards were

"carrying out their missionary work, indoctrinating the Lebanese Shiites in the spiritual and

political teachings of Khomeini."

As the Iranian parliament speaker, Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel, told the Iranian News Channel

on July 18, "To Nasrallah we say … the blood of Imam Khomeini rages in his veins."

Sheik Nasrallah's deputy, Sheik Naim Qasem, quoted the Iranian regime in explaining his

organization's position on Israel and jihad in a June 2, 2002, interview on Al-Manar:

"Muslims should annihilate Israel. ... Imam Khomeini said, ‘The goal of this virus [Israel] that

was planted in the heart of the Islamic world ... The solution is in annihilating the virus.'"

Anyone who has witnessed Iranian crowds chanting "Death to America" and "Death to Israel"

during religious rallies led by the country's ayatollahs, or at Lebanese rallies led by Sheik

Nasrallah, can see how similar they are to the rallies Nazi Germany held — only then, the

chants were "Heil Hitler."

An Explicit Debt

By DANIEL JOHNSON | July 27, 2006

http://www.nysun.com/opinion/explicit-debt/36866/

This is the first Middle East war in which the main threat to Israel comes, not from secular

Arab nationalism, but from Islamism. Both Hezbollah and Hamas draw their main inspiration,

armaments, and funding from Islamist sources, ranging from the Sunni ideologues of the

Muslim Brotherhood to the Shiite demagogues of Iran. What unites them all is a fanatical

dedication to the destruction of Israel.

There are, however, parallels between the present war and previous campaigns waged against

Israel by Arab nationalists. One thing that Arab nationalists and Islamists clearly have in

common, though it is usually ignored in the Western media, is their explicit debt to the Nazis.

Hezbollah's Nazi salute is not just a historical curiosity, though it evokes memories of Hitler's

support for Arab agitators such as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem or the pro-Nazi coup in Iraq.

Today the Nazi legacy manifests itself in Holocaust denial, an obsession that unites the most

extreme Islamists, such as President Ahmadinejad with "moderate" secularists like the

President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Arabs appropriated anti-Semitic ideology directly from the Nazis and have recycled it

ever since. During the dark days of appeasement in the 1930s, a Hungarian émigré

philosopher, Aurel Kolnai, wrote a book about the Third Reich entitled "The War against the

West." That is exactly what the hydra-headed forces of Islamism think they are fighting right

now.

In the 1950s, the Baathist parties in Syria and Iraq modeled themselves on Hitler's heady brew

of nationalism and socialism, while rejecting western democracy. Charismatic dictators from

Nasser and Gaddafi to Saddam Hussein and Yasser Arafat turned themselves into little

Hitlers. Today, Islamists have adopted that Nazi legacy too, using a sham democracy merely

to bolster theocracy. However, the Nazi connection is usually mentioned by Arab nationalists

and Islamists sotto voce, because they constantly identify Zionism with Nazism in their

propaganda.

A second key similarity between today's Islamists and past Arab nationalists relates less to

ideology than to geopolitics. Both movements are more or less openly imperialist. As the

historian Efraim Karsh convincingly shows in his new book "Islamic Imperialism," the

pursuit of empire has been a constant theme since the time of Muhammad.

Both Islamists and Arab nationalists, however, deploy anti-imperialist rhetoric against Israel

and the West. Ayatollah Khomeini notoriously denounced America as "the Great Satan" while

attempting to annex his neighbor, Iraq. The purpose of Osama bin Laden's jihad on behalf of

"oppressed Muslims" is to subject them to a universal Caliphate. Even as Nasser dreamt of

what John Dulles called "an empire stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Atlantic Ocean,"

the Egyptian dictator posed as the champion of the "non-aligned" nations, struggling against

European colonialism and superpower hegemony.

All these and other "anti-imperialist" empire-builders, of course, were and are happy to accept

help from Western powers when it suits them. Their power depends on their ability to

manipulate the free world: during the Cold War by playing off one superpower against the

other, more recently by setting Americans against Europeans, Russians or Chinese.

The issue of imperialism is invariably accompanied by much hypocrisy. Today, for example,

America is criticized because of its refusal to intervene to stop Israel from retaliating against

Hezbollah. Apart from the British, Condoleezza Rice is almost isolated at the Rome

conference on Lebanon. But America's critics are demanding that a superpower should

intervene to prevent a sovereign state from defending its population against bombardment by

proxies of a government that has declared its intention of wiping that state off the map. What

could be more imperialist than such an intervention?

The classic example of Arab exploitation of the West's confusion over imperialism was the

Suez crisis of 1956. Fifty years ago this week Gamal Nasser, the Egyptian dictator,

nationalized the Suez Canal, thereby precipitating an international crisis. The British Prime

Minister, Anthony Eden, decided it was his duty to stop Nasser from becoming an Egyptian

Hitler. President Eisenhower, campaigning for re-election, refused to have anything to do with

it. The French, still embroiled in Algeria, feared Nasser and plotted with the Israelis to

overthrow him. Mr. Eden, lacking American support, joined in this hare-brained scheme at the

last minute, keeping Mr. Eisenhower in the dark.

And so, in late October, the crisis came to a head. Israel attacked and swiftly defeated Egypt

in the Sinai. In a moment of hubris, Prime Minister Ben-Gurion's chief of staff, Moshe Dayan,

announced to the troops the "Third Kingdom of Israel." After some delay, an Anglo-French

air-and seaborne force captured Port Said. Nasser seemed doomed.

But Mr. Eisenhower reasonably enough felt betrayed, and appalled by what he saw as a

reassertion of colonialism. He demanded that the British and French withdraw, and held a

financial gun to Mr. Eden's head: the pound sterling collapsed on the exchange markets. This

left the British with no choice but to pull out, with the French reluctantly following suit.

Meanwhile the Soviet Union, led by Khrushchev, faced a crisis of its own in Hungary.

Recently released documents seen by Professor Jonathan Haslam apparently reveal that

Khrushchev had resolved not to crush the Hungarian uprising, when the Anglo-French

landing in Suez persuaded him that Soviet prestige required a show of force. So Hungary was

invaded and 200,000 refugees fled. Eastern Europe had to wait three more decades for

freedom.

The Russians followed this up with an ultimatum to the British, French and Israelis,

threatening nuclear war. Ben-Gurion wrote that the note "could have been written by Hitler,"

but the threat was serious. He resolved there and then to acquire nuclear weapons in order to

stand up to nuclear blackmail. With covert help from the French, Israel built its own nuclear

reactor and eventually its own bomb.

Nobody comes out of Suez well. None of the key players — Eden, Eisenhower, Ben-Gurion

— saw the bigger picture. The British and French deluded themselves that they could act

without America, while the Americans failed to foresee the effect on the Arab world of

humiliating the European powers without filling the power vacuum in the Middle East. So

Nasser snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, and the Arab war against the West began.

Fifty years on, it is by no means over. Indeed, if those Nazi-saluting Hezbollah thugs are

anything to go by, we may have seen nothing yet.

Tory MP says Hezbollah reminiscent of Nazi party in 1930s

Conservative MP Jason Kenney said Tuesday that Hezbollah is no different than the German

Nazi party in the 1930s and, by visiting Lebanon, opposition MPs lent “political legitimacy”

to the organization.

http://www.canada.com/topics/news/politics/story.html?id=eeb02c6f-cf0e-4fc4-a8e3-5f98e497878d&k=31524

By CanWest News Service August 22, 2006

OTTAWA - Conservative MP Jason Kenney said Tuesday that Hezbollah is no different than

the German Nazi party in the 1930s and, by visiting Lebanon, opposition MPs lent “political

legitimacy” to the organization.

Speaking at a news conference to react to comments made by Liberal MP Borys

Wrzesnewskyj about taking Hezbollah off Canada’s list of terrorist organizations, Kenney

said lessons need to be learned from history.

“There was another political party in the past which had democratic support, which provided

social services, which played an important role in the political life of its country in Germany

in the 1930s which was also dedicated to violence against the Jewish people,” said Kenney,

parliamentary secretary to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and one of the Conservatives’

senior political strategists.

“The world was wrong to negotiate with that party then and it would be wrong to negotiate

with Hezbollah today and I’m shocked that Mr. Wrzesnewskyj doesn’t understand that,” he

said.

Kenney said the Liberal party shouldn’t try to backpedal from Wrzesnewskyj’s controversial

comments.

On Monday, it was reported that the MP favoured removing Hezbollah from Canada’s list of

terrorist organizations. He, along with New Democrat Peggy Nash and Bloc MP Maria

Moureni, had been in Lebanon on a fact-finding mission organized by the National Council

on Canada-Arab Relations. Wrzesnewskyj later said he made no such comments and what he

did say was that Canada needs to evaluate its anti-terror legislation so that it can negotiate

with groups on the list in order to implement a peace process.

Wrzesnewskyj released a statement Monday saying he believes Hezbollah is a terrorist

organization and should remain on the list. Liberal Leader Bill Graham also released a

statement saying the party’s official position has not wavered on the issue of listing the

organization as a terrorist group.

Kenney said either way Wrzesnewskyj’s comments and actions are irresponsible, especially

for someone who is his party’s associate foreign affairs critic.

“Mr. Graham and his party cannot distance themselves from Mr. Wrzesnewskyj’s words

unless they are prepared to remove him from that position,” Kenney said.

He went further, saying the confusion over Wrzesnewskyj’s comments demonstrates the

Liberal party is not fit to lead Canada, nor is any other opposition party.

“The Liberal party of Canada and other opposition parties cannot claim to be prepared to be

ready to govern Canada if they cannot even establish a coherent position on such a clear-cut

issue as the terrorist nature of Hezbollah, an organization motivated by anti-Semitism and

dedicated to the destruction of Israel.”

Kenney said the Liberal MP’s logic that Hezbollah should be negotiated with in order to

achieve peace in the Middle East is flawed. There is nothing to negotiate with a group

motivated by hatred and dedicated to the destruction of a state, he said.

The Nazis, Hamas and Hezbollah: Why There Is an Israeli State

Hezbollah army doing the Nazi salute

Here are a few videos. One was obviously made by an Israeli, the others by members of

Hamas and Hezbollah, and the last by Palestinians.

Here is the thing. You can barely tell the Israeli one apart from the ones made by Hamas and

Hezbollah. There is not one thing in the extremist Muslim videos that contradicts what the

Israeli's video says. Please watch all.

Following these is a rundown of the actual history of the Israeli state and the surrounding

states that want it obliterated. The depth and the reach of the propaganda spread by both

leftists and extremist Muslims is outrageous and it is an endless slew of lies.

Hizbullah Neo-Nazi army ready for next war with Israel

Another military conflict between Israel and Lebanon is «Inevitable».

http://ivarfjeld.wordpress.com/2010/01/25/war-between-israel-and-eu-supported-lebanaon-is-looming/

Just like Hitler, these Hizbullah terrorists wants a Middle East free from Jews

This is a statement of Minister-without-Portfolio Yossi Peled (Likud) Saturday at a Beersheba

event.

«Without a doubt we are heading for another round (of fighting) in the North. No one knows

when, but it’s clear that it will happen», the former OC Northern Command said. «We did not

know that the Second Lebanon War was going to break out».

Peled’s comments came some three-and-a-half years after the Second Lebanon War against

Hizbullah.

PM of Lebanon Saad Hariri together with Islamic terrorist Hassan Nasrallah

The IDF believes that Hizbullah has obtained Iranian-made Fajr missiles, either the Fajr 3 or

Fajr 5. The Fajr 3 is five meters long and can carry a 45-kilogram warhead.

Lebanese MP Marwan Hamadeh was also quoted in the report, noting the influence of Iran

and the United States on the regional conflict. «With Iran backing and supplying Hezbollah

and the United States backing and supplying Israel, the battlefield is Lebanon», the anti-

Hizbullah lawmaker reportedly said.

«This is where the Iranian missiles sit, and this is where the Israeli air force can reach»,he

added. Source: Jerusalem Post

My comment:

Hizbullah is now a part of the Lebanese Government, and Shia Muslim Ali Shami is the

present Foreign Minister. And even more alarming. Lebanon is holding a seat in the security

council of United Nations. That Iran can place its missiles so close to the border of Israel,

without an international out cry, is either a good poof of the apathy ruling the World affairs at

the moment, or an approval of Iranian aggression. I do not know what will be the worst.

FM Ali Shami is said by some to be closely allied with Hizbullah. Even Lebaneese Prime

Minister Sa’ad al-Hariri has good connections with Hizbullah leader Hasan Nasrallah.

Hezbollah's Goal: "Going After [the Jews] Worldwide"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alan-dershowitz/hezbollahs-goal-going-aft_b_26983.html

The uniqueness of the Holocaust was not the Nazi's determination to kill the Jews of Germany

and even of neighboring Poland. Other genocides, such as those by the Cambodians and the

Turks, sought to rid particular areas of so called undesirables by killing them. The utter

uniqueness of the Holocaust was the Nazi plan to "ingather" all the Jews of the world to the

death camp and end the Jewish "race" forever. It almost succeeded. The Nazis ingathered tens

of thousands of Jews (including babies, women, the elderly) from far flung corners of the

world--from the Island of Rhodes from Salonika and from other obscure locations--in order to

gas them at Auschwitz and at other death camps.

The official leader of the Palestinian Muslims, Haj Amin al-Husseini, the grand mufti of

Jerusalem, collaborated in the Nazi genocide, declaring that he sought to "solve the problems

of the Jewish element in Palestine and other Arab countries" by employing "the same method"

being used "in the Axis countries". Husseini, who spent the war years in Berlin and was later

declared a Nazi war criminal at Nuremberg, wrote the following in his memoirs:

Our fundamental condition for cooperating with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every

last Jew from Palestine and the Arab world. I asked Hitler for an explicit undertaking to allow

us to solve the Jewish problem in a manner befitting our national and racial aspirations and

according to the scientific methods innovated by Germany in the handling of its Jews. The

answer I got was: "The Jews are yours."

Husseini planned a death camp for Jews modeled on Auschwitz, to be located in Nablus. He

broadcast on Nazi Radio, calling for genocide against all the world's Jews: "kill the Jews

wherever you find them--this pleases God, history, and religion." Professor Edward Said has

acknowledged that this Nazi collaborator and genocidal anti-Semite "represented the

Palestinian Arab consensus" and was "the voice of the Palestinian people." Yasser Arafat

referred to Husseini as "our hero."

Never before or since in world history has a tyrannical regime sought to murder all of the

members of a particular racial, religious, ethnic or cultural group, regardless of where they

live--not until now. Hezbollah's aim is not to "end the occupation of Palestine," or even to

"liberate all of Palestine." Its goal is to kill the world's Jews. Listen to the words of its leader

Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah: "If Jews all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after

them worldwide." (NY Times, May 23, 2004, p. 15, section 2, column 1.) Nasrallah is one of

the most admired men in the Muslim and Arab world today. Hitler made similar threats in

Mein Kampf but they were largely ignored. Nasrallah has a reputation for keeping his

promises.

His genocidal goals--to kill all Jews--were proven by two recent statements. He has warned

the Arabs and Muslims to leave Haifa so that his rockets can kill only Jews. And he

apologized for causing the deaths of three Israeli-Arabs in Nazareth, when a Katuysha struck

that religiously mixed Israeli city. Hezbollah also worked hand-in-hand with Argentine neo-

Nazis to blow up a Jewish community center, murdering dozens of Jews.

Nasrallah is a modern day Hitler, who currently lacks the capacity to carry out his genocide.

But he is an ally of Iran, which will soon have the capacity to kill Israeli's five million Jews.

Listen to what the former President of Iran has said about how Iran would use its nuclear

weapons:

Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former president of Iran, has threatened Israel with nuclear

destruction, boasting that an attack would kill as many as five million Jews. Rafsanjani

estimated that even if Israel retaliated by dropping its own nuclear bombs, Iran would

probably lose only fifteen million people, which he said would be a small "sacrifice" from

among the billion Muslims in the world.

Now listen to the current President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who denies the Nazi

Holocaust, but calls for a modern Holocaust that would "wipe Israel off the map."

Despite these anti-Semitic and genocidal threats, some of the hard left admire Nasrallah and

his bigoted organization, as well as Iran and its anti-Semitic president. Others do not seem to

take his threats seriously.

For example, the notorious Jewish anti-Semite Norman Finkelstein has said, "looking back

my chief regret is that I wasn't even more forceful in publicly defending Hezbollah against

terrorist intimidation and attack."

Finkelstein's hatred of Jews runs so deep that he has actually implied that his own mother,

who survived the Nazi Holocaust, may have collaborated with the Nazis. If so, collaboration

with evil seems to run in the family, because Finkelstein has clearly become a collaborator

with Hezbollah anti-Semitism and Nazism. Finkelstein's website is filled with Hezbollah

promotion, including breathless reprints of Nasrallah speeches. Noam Chomsky, who works

closely with Finkelstein, has said of Finkelstein that he is "a person who can speak with more

authority and insight on these topics [Israel and anti-Semitism] than anyone I can think of."

The Iran-Hezbollah axis is the greatest threat to world peace, to Jewish survival, to western

values, and to civilization. Those like Finkelstein, who support Hezbollah, and even those

who refuse to fight against this evil, are on the wrong side of history. They are collaborators

with Islamo-fascists--today's version of Nazism.

The Threat from Iran

The New Nazis

Gregg Rickman, Cutting Edge Commentator, September 28th 2009

http://www.thecuttingedgenews.com/index.php?article=11615

The touchstone for evil in history is clearly the Nazis. Today, there is a new touchstone: Iran.

While some fear making such a comparison, doing so today is not outlandish. It is simply

common sense. The Mullahs in Iran are the new Nazis.

Once again, Iran’s President—fraudulently elected as he was—put himself on exhibit at the

UN for all to see, and of course for all to see what he represents. Seeing him in action should

leave no one in doubt of this comparison. What should be surprising is that our leaders and

those of our allies know these facts all too well and say history cannot and does not repeat

itself. Well, it doesn’t take a Ouija Board or a crystal ball to divine the mysteries of Iran’s

actions. They make that clear every day. They make war on the West through terrorism,

preach the destruction of the Jews, arm themselves with missiles and the nuclear weapons to

empower them.

Iran has rigged its own Presidential election and then used snipers from rooftops and terrorists

on motorcycles to put down the brave protestors who dared to challenge that fraudulent

outcome. It is Iran, of course, that races to gain nuclear status pleading innocence along the

way while denying the Holocaust and calling for Israel’s destruction. It is also Iran that

kidnaps Americans, funds attacks against American troops in Iraq, promotes Hezbollah and

Hamas against Israelis, Lebanese, and Palestinians daring to oppose them, and befriends our

enemies around the world, such as Cuba’s Castros, Venezuela’s Chavez, and North Korea’s

Kim Jong Il, among others.

Let’s also not forget its alliance with Syria, another nation that seeks Israel’s destruction and a

staunch ally of Hezbollah and the provider of the killers of American troops in Iraq. It seems

as if they are going out of their way to prove the comparison.

Amazingly, others see this resemblance as well. On August 23, 2009, the Kuwaiti daily Al-

Watan published an article by Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Fahd, quoted by

MEMRI which said in part, "This ideology, and the way it is being implemented, resemble

Hitler's occupation of Europe, which began in Poland. Hitler's aim in occupying Europe was

neither to compel the Poles, the French, or the Belgians to salute him by raising their arms and

saying 'Heil Hitler,' nor to have portraits of him and his mistress hung on historical buildings.

[Rather,] he occupied Europe so as to use the treasures of [European] countries to build a

German empire…Iran employs various means [to achieve its goal]: it supports Al-Maliki's

party in Iraq; it sends money… to Hizbullah in Lebanon; its ambassador meets with

parliamentary candidates and former parliament members of various democratic countries in

[Iran's] embassy. And it seeks not so much to revive 'the rule of the jurisprudent' as it seeks to

take over these countries and to plunder whatever it can lay its hands on.

What is even more alarming is the abject appeasement – political and business -- coming out

of Europe and scarily, from our own government. It’s eerie to compare the rank appeasement

of Iran these days. There is an absolute refusal to place further sanctions on Iran with

European states fearing a loss of business with their terrorist business partners. Business lined

up in the 1930s to make deals with the Nazis so why shouldn’t they do so now with the

Iranians. Business, after all, is business. It seems ethical concerns play no role in a company’s

decisions when it comes to dealing with Iran. Governments and individuals downplay Iran’s

actions, excusing its violence and threats, rushing headlong into negotiations with that regime.

Israel’s fears of Iran’s nuclearization are chalked up to irrational fears and at worst, a

continuing Jewish plot – playing, of course, directly into Iran’s rhetoric. Its as if we’ve been

collectively beamed back to the 1930s to hear the likes of Joseph P. Kennedy, Charles

Lindbergh and Neville Chamberlin all downplaying the intentions of Nazi Germany despite

how simply obvious it was to see – even in hindsight.

There should be no real problem to understanding the similarities. Yes, it can be argued that

Iranians are not Germans in many ways and the world might just be a bit wiser now. Yet a

regime that officially denies the Holocaust perpetrated by its spiritual predecessors for the

purpose of delegitimizing and terminating the State of Israel should not be disregarded. Like

the Nazis, the regime in Iran lays it plans out quite clearly regarding the Jews and we refuse to

believe it. In the 1930s few believed the Nazis either, despite daily statements declaring it.

When confronted with their violence, like the Nazis too, the Iranians make threats and

challenge the audacity to make such a charge despite every visible sign verifying the charge.

The regime in Iran is spoiling for a fight and daring anyone to respond.

Let us face facts. The leaders in Iran are the new Nazis. We should call them for what they

are. Better yet, we should treat them like Nazis and isolate them until they join the Nazis on

the trash heap of history. Deal with them now before, like their spiritual ancestors, they

become too big for us to handle and a real battle takes place. We are headed for trouble unless

we wake up to the facts and label and treat the Iranian regime as the new Nazis.

Al Fatah's Nazi training was CIA-sponsored

by Francisco Gil-White

July 22, 2007

The US government has been pushing very hard to give Mahmoud Abbas’s Al Fatah its own

state, carved out of the Jewish state. Al Fatah (also known as 'the PLO') was trained in the

1950s by CIA-sponsored German Nazis.

These facts are not widely known or understood.

During the 1948 war, the United States and Britain assisted the Arab attack against the Israeli

Jews, which attack, in the words of Azzam Pasha, secretary general of the Arab League (a

British creation), would be “a war of extermination and a momentous massacre, which will be

spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades.”[1] The US government placed an

arms embargo on the Israeli Jews, and the British government used the troops it still had not

evacuated from what had been British Mandate Palestine to help the Arabs, going also to the

length of sending the Arab armies captured Nazi officers to assist the genocidal effort [see

1947-48 section].[1a] In spite of all this, the combined Arab armies suffered a bewildering,

humiliating defeat in the War of 1948, and perhaps especially so the Egyptian army.

Historian Christopher Simpson has documented, with material obtained through the Freedom

of Information Act, that immediately after 1945 the US government began secretly recruiting

a great multitude of Nazis, including many notorious war criminals, in order to construct the

US intelligence services [see 1945 section]. As the Washington Post wrote in its review of

Simpson's book, “It is no longer necessary -- or possible -- to deny the fact: the U.S.

government systematically and deliberately recruited active Nazis by the thousands.”[1b] The

Washington Post should have written that it was tens of thousands, however.

Frank Wisner was one of the main architects of the absorption of Nazis to create the CIA.[2]

Following Egypt’s defeat in the 1948 war, Simpson explains, “Frank Wisner had dispatched

his top troubleshooter to the Mideast, Kermit (‘Kim’) Roosevelt, to Cairo as early as 1951 to

open secret negotiations with Colonel Gamal Abdel Nasser and his insurgent Society of Free

Officers,” who were getting ready to launch a coup d’état in that country.[3]

Egypt loses its genocidal war against Israel; the CIA sends its “top troubleshooter.” A failed

genocidal war against Israel is something to fix.

Roosevelt reported to his superiors that there was, in his words, “a large area of agreement”

with Nasser. “Nasser asked Roosevelt for aid in building up Egypt’s military intelligence and

internal security squads,” the inferiority of which had been demonstrated by their defeat

against the Israeli Jews. “So CIA director Allen Dulles turned to [Reinhard] Gehlen in 1953

for help in the Egyptian situation.”[3]

Reinhard Gehlen had spearheaded the recruitment of the Nazi infrastructure for the CIA,

something he was eminently qualified to do because Gehlen had been “Hitler’s most senior

military intelligence officer on the eastern front.”[4] In fact, Gehlen was a monster. Simpson

explains that

“Gehlen derived much of his information from his role in one of the most terrible atrocities of

the war: the torture, interrogation, and murder by starvation of some 4 million Soviet

prisoners of war. …Prisoners who refused to cooperate were often tortured and summarily

shot. Many were executed even after they had given information, while others were simply

left to starve to death.”[5]

When the US government recruited Gehlen after the war, they asked him to recreate the Nazi

intelligence infrastructure, and this became known as the ‘Gehlen Org,’ with its headquarters

in Pullach, West Germany, which country had become a satellite of the US. “At least a half

dozen -- and probably more -- of his first staff of fifty officers were former SS or SD men,

including SS Obersturmführer Hans Sommer (who had set seven Paris synagogues to the

torch in October 1941)…”[6] In the year 2005, historian Timothy Naftali explains that “newly

released information from the CIA and the Army,” as a consequence of the Nazi War Crimes

Disclosure Act,

“make it possible to assess the extent of Gehlen’s recruitment of former officers of the SD

[the intelligence service of the SS] and Gestapo. It turns out that it was widespread. At least

one hundred of Gehlen’s officers and agents had served with the SD or the Gestapo, and the

number may in fact be significantly higher. …some of those hired had participated in the

worst atrocities committed by the Nazi regime.”[7]

When, following the defeat of the Egyptians in the War of 1948, the US turned to Gehlen for

help in improving Egypt’s intelligence and military capability, Gehlen turned to Otto

Skorzeny.

Skorzeny had been an enormous and tremendous Nazi -- the stereotype of the tall, golden-

haired ‘Aryan’ that the führer, himself a short brunette, was always so excited about.

Skorzeny was celebrated in the Nazi press as “Hitler’s favorite commando.” He was an expert

in sabotage, assassination, and difficult missions behind enemy lines. In 1948 he had

mysteriously escaped while awaiting trial -- or perhaps not so mysteriously, given that his

father-in-law Hjalmar Schacht (Hitler's Finance Minister) had his own sentence abolished by

John McCloy, the US High Commissioner in Germany. Skorzeny played an important

postwar role in the ratline operations Odessa and Die Spinne that spirited a great multitude of

Nazis to safety.

What Gehlen wanted was for Otto Skorzeny to train the Egyptians. Skorzeny, however, was

reticent, so the US government begged, promising him that his Egyptian salary would be

supplemented by a generous CIA subsidy, and that the US would cover all his operational

costs. They also sent a US general to beg in person. But Skorzeny kept playing the prima

donna, so Gehlen pressured father-in-law Hjalmar Schacht to convince him, finally with

success.[8]

I must make here a brief parenthesis. Much of Christopher Simpson’s information on all this

comes from Reinhard Gehlen’s own memoirs, written in the 1970s, and from what Miles

Copeland, who worked as a CIA agent in that region, asserted in one of his books. According

to Timothy Naftali, writing in 2005, the documents that were more recently released with the

Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act make it doubtful that the CIA really led the effort to give

Nazi training to the Egyptian forces. But careful: Naftali is not saying that the new

documentation has refuted the idea that Skorzeny’s Nazis trained the Egyptians; on the

contrary, he asserts that “Skorzeny…[and] dozens of aging Nazis…did indeed trek to Cairo in

the first years of Nasser’s regime to prepare the Arabs for battle with the new Jewish state.”

According to Naftali, however, the CIA had nothing to do with Skorzeny.[9]

Naftali is obviously defending the US government from the implicit accusation that it was

preparing a genocidal attack against Israel, but his defense, in light of the facts, is a bit

strident, and I shall now list the reasons why.

First, when I consult the historian’s footnote at the end I find that the recently released

documents in fact show the CIA trying to bring Skorzeny to the United States, and that

requests for other CIA documents on the agency’s relationship with Skorzeny have been

denied. Second, according to the same Naftali, a year before the Egyptian operation was to

begin, CIA director Allen Dulles had -- amazingly -- flown all the way to Germany to confer

with Reinhard Gehlen in order to suggest to him that they should work together not only in

the Soviet sphere but in other parts of the world; Naftali concedes that in historical context

Dulles was probably referring to the Syrian and Egyptian invitations to have the former Nazis

come train their intelligence and military services. Third, according to Naftali there is

evidence that the Nazis in Egypt were being sponsored in part by the embryonic Defense

Ministry of Konrad Adenauer.[9] This matters because Christopher Simpson documented that

the US had installed Konrad Adenauer as West German prime minister when Gustav Hilger,

one of the top Nazis recruited by the US government, had vouched for Adenauer as someone

who would support US policies.[10] And what was the US policy for West Germany? Naftali

himself explains that it was to turn Reinhard Gehlen into “the first chief of centralized

intelligence of Western Germany” -- in other words, to put the Nazis back in power (this was

done in 1956).[11] Finally, there is this: in a different article Naftali documents that the Nazi

Leopold von Mildenstein, who participated with Skorzeny in the operation to train the

Egyptians, secured immunity for himself -- when arrested by the West German police -- by

explaining that he was a US agent.[12]

Naftali’s confidence that the CIA had nothing to do with the Egyptian operation appears

adventurous, to say the least, especially given that Gehlen boasted in his memoirs that he had

set that operation in motion with “the full approval” of the United States, as Naftali himself

concedes.[13]

Coming back to Simpson’s summary of what happened in Egypt, this is what he writes:

“Over the next 18 months Skorzeny used CIA money to recruit for the Egyptian security

services about 100 German advisers, many of whom he reached through neo-Nazi

organizations and SS escape networks. Among his wards were Hermann Lauterbacher, an SS

man and former deputy leader of the Hitler Youth, and Franz Buensch, a Goebbels

propagandist best known for his pornographic work The Sexual Habits of Jews. Buensch,

Gehlen’s resident chief in Cairo, was a veteran of Eichmann’s SS ‘Jewish Affairs’ office. This

talented group was later joined by Alois Brunner.”[14]

SS Sturmbannführer Alois Brunner was a man “considered by many to be the most depraved

Nazi killer still at large.” He had been Adolf Eichmann’s most important deportations expert,

for he had a “keen sense of the exact types of terror and psychological manipulation necessary

to disarm his victims,” which he employed to get them into the ghettoes, and then on the

trains and to the death camps. In his role as master exterminator, he “rushed from Berlin to

Gestapo offices throughout occupied Europe to train local Nazi satraps in how to carry out the

destruction of Jews quickly and thoroughly.” Thoroughly means precisely that: “He did not

neglect the murder of children because (as he told Berlin lawyer Kurt Schendel, who was

pleading on behalf of a group of French orphans) they were ‘future terrorists.’” According to

the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Brunner personally took charge of murdering 128,500 people,

and was condemned to death in absentia by the French government -- but the CIA protected

this man whom Adolf Eichmann characterized as “one of my best men.”[15]

Now, according to the postwar testimony of Adolf Eichmann’s top lieutenant Dieter

Wisliceny, Hajj Amin al Husseini, the former Mufti of Jerusalem, was even more important

than Eichmann as an architect of the German Nazi Final Solution, so Alois Brunner was also

one of Husseini’s “best men.”[16] And Husseini was already there in Egypt when Brunner

arrived, because Husseini had taken refuge there after the war. No doubt they were delighted

to see each other.

Adolf Eichmann could not be with Husseini and Brunner, but they must have celebrated the

fact that he was safe: the year before, the 430th Detachment had informed the US High

Command in Austria that,

“At this time, 1952, the apprehension of war criminals is no longer considered a mission of

CIC [Army Counter-Intelligence Corps]. …Therefore, it appears the Salzburg police

authorities should be advised that the arrest of [Adolf Eichmann] and [his] transfer to CIC is

no longer desired.”[17]

(The CIA, in fact, always knew where Eichmann was hiding, and protected him.[18])

No doubt Brunner and Husseini lamented not having Eichmann there with them, but at least

Leopold von Mildenstein was there. Mildenstein was one of Goebbels’ great propaganda

experts, and an expert also in Zionism and the Middle East. Earlier, he had in fact mentored

Adolf Eichmann himself.

Timothy Naftali explains:

“Mildenstein…turned up in Egypt working for the government of Gamal Abdul Nasser. In

December 1956, the Turkish press reported that he had been hired by Egypt’s powerful

‘Voice of Arabs’ radio station along with other former associates from Goebbel’s

organization. Mildenstein’s experience in inciting the Arabs against Jews in the Second World

War was highly prized in Egypt. This was confirmed by a CIA report from Cairo, which listed

him among a group of influential former Nazis who were shaping the actions of the Nasser

government.”[19]

The training of the Egyptian intelligence and military services were not the only contributions

of the Nazis to the effort to destroy the Jews from Egypt. In 1958, the terrorist Al Fatah (Arab

Liberation Movement) was created in Cairo. Who created it? It was “organized…by veterans

of the Mufti’s [Hajj Amin al Husseini’s] former Arab Higher Committee,” explains historian

Howard Sachar. “From the outset,” he says, “the Fatah’s reputation depended largely upon the

success of its Moslem traditionalist approach of jihad against Israel, and upon conventional

infiltration methods.”[20]

The leader of Al Fatah would be the famous Yasser Arafat. In a declaration that Arafat made

to the Arab press in August of 2002 he made it clear that he was quite proud of his origins, for

he referred to the former Mufti as “our hero, Hajj Amin al Husseini,” and boasted that he had

been Husseini’s soldier in the genocidal War of 1948 against the Israeli Jews.[21]

In a rare mention of Al Fatah’s origins in the press, David N. Bossie wrote as follows in

August 2002, in the Washington Times:

“The mufti [Hajj Amin] barely escaped trial for [war crimes] by fleeing to Egypt in 1946.

There he made young Yasser Arafat, then living in Cairo, his protégé. The mufti secretly

imported a former Nazi commando officer into Egypt to teach Mr. Arafat and other teenage

recruits the fine points of guerrilla warfare. Mr. Arafat learned his lessons well; the mufti was

so proud of him he even pretended the two of them were blood relations.”[22]

What Bossie writes is accurate except for the idea that Husseini was the one who imported the

“former Nazi commando officer.” For this was Otto Skorzeny, whose specialty was precisely

the “conventional infiltration methods” for which Al Fatah would become famous, and he had

been sent to Egypt by the CIA. So the Nazi training of Al Fatah was CIA-sponsored. The

current leader of Al Fatah and president of the so-called ‘Palestinian Authority,’ Mahmoud

Abbas (a.k.a. Abu Mazen), naturally received this Nazi training as well, because “Abu Mazen

is...one of the founders of Fatah, one of the original Arafat band of brothers.”[23]

The US government is consistent. After assisting the birth pangs of Al Fatah with CIA-

sponsored Nazi training, and then mobilizing an entire diplomatic process known as the Oslo

process to get Al Fatah inside the Jewish state [see 1991 section], it is now pushing with all its

might for the final stage of that process to be concluded: a fully fledged Fatah terrorist state

on Israel’s flank, carved out of the Jewish state.

[1a] Never mind that it was barely three years since the Jews had finished suffering the Nazi

Final Solution; the British aid to the Arabs included sending captured German Nazi officers to

lead the Arab armies that had openly pledged themselves to wipe out the Israeli Jews. This

was demonstrated in a detailed article, which quoted official British documents at length, and

which appeared in The Nation in 1948:

[2] “Policy concerning clandestine use of former Nazi collaborators during the early cold war

years was shaped by a series of National Security Council directives and intelligence projects

sponsored by the Policy Planning Staff of the State Department, then under the leadership of

George F. Kennan, according to records discovered recently in the US State Department

archives. Kennan was at the time assigned the task of internal policy oversight of all US

clandestine operations abroad. His initiatives -- along with those of Allen Dulles, Frank

Wisner, and a number of other latter-day CIA executives -- helped convince Truman’s NSC to

approve a comprehensive program of covert operations that were explicitly modeled on the

Vlasov Army, an anti-Communist émigré campaign created by the SS and the Nazi Foreign

Office during World War II. Scholars and propagandists who had once collaborated in

formulating the Nazis’ political warfare program were brought into the United States to

provide the brains for the new operation.

Wisner, the dynamic director of the CIA’s clandestine operations directorate, gradually

gathered many of the threads of earlier Nazi utilization efforts into agency hands. Wisner

believed in the tremendous espionage potential of the Eastern European émigré [i.e. Nazi

collaborationist] organizations, their value as propagandists and agents of influence, and the

unique advantages of using soldiers who had no provable ties to the US government for

certain particularly sensitive missions, including assassinations…

Wisner’s clandestine campaigns were originally aimed at the USSR and its satellites. Before

the decade was out, however, the American people also became an important target for CIA

propaganda programs. …over the winter of 1951-52…, according to National Security

Council records, Wisner began large-scale programs designed to bring thousands of anti-

Communist [read: pro-Nazi] exiles to the United States as a means of rewarding them for

secret operations overseas and to train others in guerrilla warfare against East Bloc countries.

The CIA secretly subsidized the work of right-wing refugee relief organizations aiding such

immigrants, including some groups with clear ties to extreme nationalist and Fascist

organizations in Europe. The agency simultaneously funded millions of dollars into

advertising and staged media events inside the United States during the same period, with

support for these overseas ‘refugee liberation’ projects as a primary theme.

Tens of thousands of Eastern European refugees immigrated to the United States throughout

the late 1940s and 1950s. …just as any large group of humans contains some criminals, so,

too, did this emigration. The difference this time was that of the criminals who did come,

many were experienced right-wing political activists who were highly organized and blessed

with the patronage of the CIA.”

NAZI ISLAMIC FASCISM

A Call for Strategic-Level Intercession to Cut Nazi Roots and Dismantle Islamic Fascism…

CANDIDATE FOR U.S. CONGRESS EXPOSES AND WARNS AGAINST NAZI ROOTS

OF ISLAMIC TERRORISM

Mr. Chuck Morse, a Boston-area radio talk show host and syndicated columnist, is currently

running as a Republican for U.S. Congress in the 4th Congressional District of

Massachusetts, a seat presently held by Representative Barney Frank. In his campaign talks,

articles and a recently published book, Morse is courageously presenting historical data and

showing the links between Nazi fascism and current Islamic extremism.

Just as the Nazi threat was not confined to Jews, the “Islamofascist” threat is not confined to

Jews, as demonstrated by the events of September 11, 2001 and by Islamic terrorist bombings

in London, Madrid, Bali and Israel.

Nazism held a genuine appeal for the Arab populace, who were attracted to its messages of

rejection of democracy, recovery of past military glory and Jew-hating. In 1935, Reza Shah,

the ruler of Persia, changed the country's name from Persia to Iran to reflect that they, like the

Nazis, were Aryans. A popular Arab song during the war went, "Allah in heaven, Hitler on

earth."

The historic Nazi connection to today's Islamic terrorism is Haj Amin al-Husseini, the grand

Mufti of Jerusalem. He became a Nazi agent after meeting Adolf Eichmann, an architect of

the Holocaust, in Palestine in 1937, and with Nazi funds organized the Arab Revolt of 1936-

39 which led to the British closing Palestine to Jewish immigration. This facilitated the "Final

Solution" by closing off the avenue of refuge. In 1941, the mufti orchestrated a short-lived,

Nazi-backed generals' coup in Iraq. One of the participants in that coup, Gen. Khayrallah

Tulfah, was Saddam Hussein's uncle and mentor.

The Iraq coup was followed by the Farhud, a pogrom against Baghdad's Jews, an event

viewed by Sephardic Jews as comparable to the German "Kristallnacht." The Mufti obtained

Hitler's assurance in November 1941 that after dealing with the Jews of Europe, Hitler would

treat the Jews of the Middle East similarly. Husseini promised the support of the Arabs for the

Nazi war effort. In Berlin, Husseini used the "sonderfund," money confiscated from Jewish

victims, to finance subversive pro-Nazi activities in the Middle East and to raise 20,000

Muslim troops in Bosnia, the infamous Hanjar S.S. Waffen, who murdered tens of thousands

of Serbs and Jews in the Balkans and served as police auxiliary in Hungary.

But the Mufti's Nazi heritage did not end with the Holocaust.

Jason Kenney, a Tory Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Secretary to Canadian Prime

Minister Stephen Harper, stated at a press conference on August 22, 2006, that he is opposed

to removing Hezbollah from Canada’s list of terrorist organizations. Kenny said “lessons

need to be learned from history.” “There was another political party in the past which had

democratic support, which provided social services, which played an important role in the

political life of its country in Germany in the 1930s which was also dedicated to violence

against the Jewish people,” Kenney declared. “Hezbollah is motivated by anti-Semitism and

Palestinian popular and educational efforts and their organization and involvement in the

armed Palestinian revolution….Accordingly, the Palestinian people look to all spiritual forces

in the world for support.” (Articles 10 and 16, Palestinian National Charter, 1968)

Mohammed Abder Rauf Arafat al-Kudwa al-Husseini, shortened to Yasser Arafat to avoid

identification with his mentor, Haj Amin al-Husseini, was born on August 4, 1929, in Egypt,

though Arafat’s “official” website says, “in Jerusalem.” Said to be al-Husseini’s nephew or

cousin, Arafat began to work for al-Husseini in Cairo in 1946, when he was 17. Egypt, Syria

and other Arab countries, and some Latin American states had become a haven for thousands

of Nazi expatriates. Al-Husseini played a key role in this “pipeline” which trafficked war

criminals. Arafat helped supply arms for al-Husseini’s al-Jihad al-Muqaddas militia, or “Holy

Warriors.” Arafat’s posted biography does record that "In 1958, President Yasser Arafat

departed the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kuwait to work as an engineer. [He] met several

Palestinian figures…and discussed with them the establishment of the Palestine National

Liberation Movement, 'al-Fatah'. Later, [he] went back to Palestine to meet a group of

Palestinian activists and announce the launching of the Fatah movement on January 1, 1965.

…”

Indoctrinated by al-Husseini to “kill Jews wherever you find them,” and fueled by Arab

editions of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” and the conspiracy theories published by the Egyptian

government under the title, “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” Yasser Arafat and his Fatah

movement began to mock moderate Arab leaders and to call for war “to eliminate Israel.”

Egyptian President Abdel Nasser, associated with al-Husseini, employed a number of former

Nazi officers, and founded the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as an alternative to

Arafat’s Fatah. Following the “Six-Day War” in 1967, the PLO was reorganized and placed

under the leadership of Yasser Arafat. In 1968 PLO delegates met to draft a national charter

or covenant, the articles of which deny the ancient existence of the Jewish People in the Holy

Land, demand an “Arab homeland” and Palestinian state, and call for the destruction of the

State of Israel. Though Arafat and PLO governing bodies made “promises” to amend the

Charter and affirm Israel’s right to exist, no changes have been ratified or implemented. The

original 1968 Charter is still displayed by the Palestinian delegation to the United Nations and

other Palestinian bodies.

The recent militant call from Iran to “wipe Israel off the map” has century-old Nazi fascist

roots. To keep the Arab and Palestinian people deceived and intellectually and spiritually

enslaved, the Holocaust must be derided as a “myth.” A web of lies and conspiracy theories

must be carefully spun and maintained. Children must be continually indoctrinated.

“Turnspeak” must remain the order of the day.

Joan Peters, in her classic study, “From Time Immemorial: The Origins of the Arab-Jewish

Conflict Over Palestine” (ISBN 0-9636242-0-2) documents that “turnspeak” is a term first

used by journalists to describe German propaganda after it invaded Czechoslovakia in 1939.

To win sympathy for their invasion, the Germans practiced “turnspeak.” They turned the

blame back on the Czechs for trying to precipitate an all-out war in the region. In other

words, the Czechs, in their attempt to hang onto their land, were ready to plunge all of Europe

into war. How did the rest of Europe respond to this lie? They believed it. World leaders

decided that something had to be done to preserve peace at any cost. Author William Shirer,

a reporter in Europe at the time, distilled the truth simply when he wrote, “Thus the plight of

the German minority in Czechoslovakia was merely a pretext…for cooking up a stew in a

land he [Hitler] coveted, undermining it, confusing and misleading its friends and concealing

his real purpose…to destroy the Czechoslovak state and grab its territories.”

Examples of “turnspeak” abound. The Arab terrorists’ Munich massacre of Israeli Olympians

was turned into an Egyptian account saying it was “really masterminded by the Jews.” The

continuing Arab claim that “the Jews are Nazis” is not without motive. Just weeks after the

Israel-Egypt peace accord had culminated in Israel’s return of the Sinai, an important

Egyptian daily wrote, “It is now clear to us from the behavior of the Nazi Zionist regime in

Israel that Zionism wishes to come in the place of the fascist Nazi tyrants.”

Articles issued from leading Western news services routinely contain “turnspeak” statements

like, “the Israeli settlers are roaming the West Bank with guns and randomly shooting at

Palestinians…Israeli violations of human rights are the worst in the world…Israel rejects all

overtones of peace by Arab countries…the Jews are preventing Arab countries from having

democracies…Israel is a terrorist state.” And, just recently, President Mahmoud

Ahmadinejad of Iran wrote to German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the Holocaust may be

an invented “excuse” by the nations that won World War II to keep Germans “ashamed.”

(Bloomberg.com 8/29/06)

“Turnspeak” calls the Holocaust a “myth, while the speaker’s own poisonous complicity in

present genocidal plans and programs against the Jews and the State of Israel is evident for

anyone who really wants to know the truth.

Haj Amin al-Husseini, named as the grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was at the core of Hitler’s

Nazi Muslim forces. Hafez al-Assad of Syria, Saddam Hussein of Iraq and other Arab

dictators were all schooled at Husseini's feet. Amin al-Husseini was at different intervals the

head of the Islamic World Congress, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Arab League. As a

leader of these organizations, until his death in the 70s, he had the time and opportunity to

spread his virulent anti-Jewish philosophy all over the Arab and Muslim world. Since

Husseini's days, the entire Islamic world has been infected with armies of violent fascist

groups.

This Husseini-Nazi “taproot” gave rise to the modern imperialistic fascist strain of Islamic

terror that the Free World is battling at this very hour. Al Qaeda’s Osama bin Laden,

Hezbollah’s Hassen Nasrallah, Hamas’ Ibrahim Hamed and many other Muslim terror chiefs

were or are still ardent followers of Haj Amin al-Husseini, “the Fuehrer’s Mufti.”

The Free World is engaged in a generations-long war with Nazi-Islamic Fascists.

Hezbollah-Iran-Syria Axis-Supporting Arab/Muslim Knesset Member, Ganaim, calls for

Islamic caliphate in Israel

http://www.thejidf.org/2010/05/hezbollah-iran-syria-axis-supporting.html

What a mensch! Can someone explain how this Islamic terror supporter can be a part of the Israeli Government?

On completion of first year in Knesset, Arab MK tells Nazareth newspaper 'it is in the Jews'

interest, since their golden era was under this caliphate'

(YNET) Knesset Member Masud Ganaim (United Arab List-Ta'al) believes "an Islamic

caliphate should be established and it should include Israel." In an interview to Nazareth-

based paper Kul al-Arab, Ganaim presented his opinion of the situation at the end of his first

year in Knesset.

"I believe there is an urgent need to return to the Islamic caliphate. I believe this is the most

fitting solution to the state of weakness, deterioration and erosion the Arabs and Muslims are

suffering from," Ganaim said when asked if, as a devout Muslim, he believes an Islamic

regime should be established in "Palestine or the Arab and Islamic homeland."

He said, "We are not necessarily talking about Israel here, but I believe an Islamic caliphate

would be in the interest of the Jews themselves, since their golden era was under this

caliphate."

In the interview, which was published over the weekend, the Knesset member said, "We

believe the Nakba stemmed from the weakening and the collapse of the Islamic body, and we

must therefore strengthen the Islamic body."

Of the fate of the State of Israel in such a situation, Ganaim said it would be included in the

greater Islamic state. "We are not against the Jews, but against the Zionist movement and its

racist ideology. We have no objection to the Jews managing their own matters themselves."

When asked about a possible conflict with Iran, Ganaim clarified that he backs the Iran-

Hezbollah-Syria axis. "I am against any aggression and any alliance that does not serve the

Arab interest. I support the righteous party. The Iran-Hezbollah-Syria axis represents the line

of resistance and intractability, and naturally, I support this axis."

He added, "Hezbollah is the security valve of the residents of Lebanon. Hassan Nasrallah has

properly combined the political and religious plan."
