Hi! My name is Jack. These are my first pictures that my proud Mommy and Daddy
have of me
Little did I know my world would be torn apart
and there is a good chance I will never meet my Daddy…not by my choice of course
My Mommy and Daddy were boyfriend and girlfriend. They were surprised, but
extremely happy to hear I would be joining them.
Even though my Mommy and Daddy didn't have plans to get married, they agreed they would raise me jointly. They continued through the Summer and
Holidays spending time with one another impatiently awaiting my arrival
All Daddy wanted for Christmas was items that would prepare
for my arrival
On December 29th, 2011 I was born and able to meet my Mommy…Daddy was not there…
On January 5th, 2011 my Daddy got the devastating call from Mommy telling him what she did. You see, Mommy listed my Daddy as “Unknown” on my birth certificate so my Daddy could not be notified of my adoption
You see, my Mommy didn’t want me and apparently didn’t want my Daddy too either so she gave me up for adoption…without my Daddies knowledge.
My Grandma hand painted a
nursery for me…
…too bad I will never get to see
it in person…
Unfortunately my Daddy did not know a registry existed in the state of Utah that you must register as the father
To for any unwed biological fathers you must file on the Putative Father Registry. In not doing so, you could have a child that ends in my same situation

In order to get me back, my Daddy has not stopped fighting to change the flawed Utah
laws
