High Point University Student, Congratulations on your acceptance to High Point University! I also want to congratulate you on making a big step toward your future goals. Based on my experience, I know how overwhelming it can be to decide to come to High Point University. How am I going to make new friends? Will I fit in? How will I learn my way around campus? These are all questions running through your mind right now and it is completely normal. Once you join the HPU family, you will wonder why you ever had these worries in the first place. Enrolling at HPU will be the best decision you’ve ever made and you will feel at home here!

High Point University is truly a place where everyone around you cares about your success.

There are endless opportunities to be had and resources to be used. In addition to the great

academic environment, you will also be on the most beautiful, pristine campus you have ever seen. Every day you are greeted with smiles from faculty, staff and other members of the HPU family.

For me, athletics is a huge part of my HPU experience. I am a member of the Division 1 women’s soccer team and I couldn’t be luckier with such amazing teammates and coaches. There are so many opportunities to get involved at HPU, such as Greek life, club sports, intramural sports,

class offices, academic clubs, political clubs, religious life, service organizations

and much more.

The overall atmosphere of High Point University feels like home. Every day I am

reassured that I made the best decision possible. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. I thank

HPU for making this difficult transition an easy one for me, and I hope your experience is just as positive.

Sincerely, Meg Kowalski Transfer Student HPU Class of 2017

A friend of mine from high school is an HPU student and hearing her descriptions about campus and the people really made me realize that something better was out there for my college experience. I knew that I wanted to head south, so I looked at HPU’s information online, set up a visit and immediately submitted an application afterward. I love my classes and the one-on-one interaction with professors. It’s comforting to know that they are truly there to help you understand, retain and utilize the information offered in their daily lessons.

Paige Chappelear Orefield, PA

I was searching for a better college experience and got connected to HPU through an admissions counselor’s recommendation at my former school. When I arrived at HPU, I was warmly greeted and felt secure. Once I was accepted, I knew that I had made a smart decision. I really like the field experiences and the help that the faculty offer to us in the classroom. I know that if I am struggling, the professors and I will work it out together.

Bailey Beattie Summerfield, NC

My experiences at HPU have been terrific! Initially, I was all about the ‘big school’ feel, but later realized that I wanted a school that took care of me as a student. I really like the personal interactions with HPU professors and the vast array of clubs to join and the many ongoing activities offered to students. Now that I’m here, I know that HPU is shaping my successful future!

Michael Esposito Libertyville, IL

I wanted to get more out of my college experience. I really dove in academically and got immersed in student life at HPU. I’ve made a lot of friends, joined a fraternity and gotten involved in several campus organizations. HPU has truly helped me become an effective student and individual.
