Municipal WastewaterMENA-Water provides systems, services and equip-

ments for the treatment of municipal wastewater.

The process includes physical, chemical and

biological treatment. As the requirement of water

quality has become more rigid, its more impor-

tant to produce cleaner effluents of wastewater.

Advanced technologies can be used as extension

of conventional secondary biological treatment

for further stabilization of oxygen-demanding

substances in wastewater or removing nitrogen

and phosphorus.

Containerized SolutionsOur containerized package plants are turn-keysolutions for wastewater, drinking water and

mobile sludge dewatering.

The systems are modular to be extendable and

movable. The equipment for the complete

treatment process is pre-assembled in standard

ISO containers to facilitate easy transport, quick

delivery and installation with minimum on-site

construction. Our containerized solution support

up to 20,000 people per container.

Sludge Treatment

Sludge is a by-product of wastewater treatmentand industrial processes. This material may be

contaminated with toxic organic and inorganic

compounds. Coarse primary solids and secondary

bio solids accumulated in a wastewater treatment

process must be treated to be disposed of in a safe

and effective way.

MENA-Water offers complete solutions for sludge

treatment comprising thickening, dewatering and

sludge drying. We also offer fully containerized

and mobile sludge systems.

Renewable EnergyEnergy supply is basic for all water treatment.

Many industries are spending a lot of money for

disposal of their waste products. During treatment

of high organic polluted waste water the load can

be used by creating energy with producing

biogas for driving gas motors to gain electrical

and heat energy.

For nonpolluting supply and operation at far away

regions, not connected to electric network, the

use of photovoltaic systems or wind energy is very

suitable for independent energy supply.

standard containers. The effluent reaches a

quality which can be directly used for irrigation

Sludge Treatment

Wastewater and sludge treatment processes typically cause

impact of bad smelling odor. There are several technologies

of odor control treatment to prevent damage to health and

discomfort caused by malodor. MENA-Water offers different

Odor Control

Sludge is produced during the treatment of water. This is

inherently so because a primary aim of water treatment is

removing solids. In addition, soluble organic substances are

converted to bacterial cells and the latter is removed from

the wastewater. These solids must be treated through

thickening, dewatering and/or drying to be disposed of in

safe and effective way.

Bio EnergyMENA-Water provides solutions for an independent energy

supply. We offer biogas power plants to produce energy out

of waste. This can be integrated in the water treatment

process. Moreover we supply photovoltaic systems using the

sunlight for operation of our mechanical equipment, lighting

systems, control and pumping. For direct water pumping we

use mechanically wind turbines operating at deep wells up

to more than 200m.
