Everyday we pinch ourselves just to make sure that we are not dreaming about these cattle prices.

Its been a long time coming and we have all survived BSE, drought, Ecoli and all the other BS that seems to come our way. Sherry‛s dad always preached to hang onto that cows tail and she would pull you thru, well we are now thru so lets enjoy it and reinvest in our ranches, farms and industry.To quote Fred Taylor, “Large meat stores are sometimes out of product from Monday to Wednesday becuase of high weekend demand.” Also “killing plants are working special 2-3 day a week runs just for China.”

Hill 70 QuantockBull Development Program…More Value Than Ever $100 On Yearlings, $130 On Two‛sWe have established a program to develop these young bulls here at Hill 70 Quantock to better serve our customers. We will keep the bulls at home after the sale and feed them until early April on a total mixed ration to gain about 2-1/2 lbs./day. We will then independently semen test them and deliver them to central points throughout Western Canada. Delivery will be from about early April to early May.The price for this service is $100 for yearlings and $130 for two‛s payable at sale time. It‛s a real value as it includes 75 days board, independent semen test, and central point delivery. Insurance will be on site to insure all bull purchases.
