The annual event of the University of San Carlos (USC) entitled "Himig Pinoy 2013". Tuesday of August 20, 2013 at the Rudolph Rahman Cultural Center - USC South Campus around 7:00 - 9:00

p.m.

Himig Pinoy is where Carolinians from different campuses showcase their singing talent and abilities to the audience. The contestants are divided into three categories: Elementary, High School, and

College.

The program started with an invocation followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and USC Hymn. A production number was then followed by the USC dance club and Himig Pinoy

2013 contestants.

The Emcee Introduce the Board of Judges with their corresponding life backgrounds. In the Contest Proper, the first to present were the six contestants from the elementary category followed by an intermission number of the Elementary Category Himig Pinoy 2012, 1st Runner-up Caryl Mabugat.

The next to present were the six contestants from the High School category. Three contestants from the South and North Campus. It is followed by an Intermission number of the High School Category

Himig Pinoy 2012, Champion Nina Mabugat. After, the five candidates of the College Category presented.

The Awarding of Winners followed after the intermission number of the College Category Himig Pinoy 2012, Champion Kwin Rose A. Bergantin and USC dance club. The Emcee announced the

winners of the USC Himig Pinoy 2013

Such amazing and lively performance filled the entire stage as the candidates wowed the crowd and showed their very best by singing their hearts out with their stunning Filipinianas and Barong Tagalog. In all competitions, there must be proclaimed winners, and these are the ones who

showed their excellence through their performance.
