ACRON has a rugged and fault-tolerant client-

server architecture. The software is scalable and

can grow with requirements. Thanks to its modular

construction, ACRON covers all requirements

of historical data processing - from the smallest

applications right up to large distributed systems.

Flexible data acquisition

The ACRON Provider module ensures data

acquisition from any sources. Through open and

dynamic data exchange standards, ACRON ensures

interoperability and platform independence.

Networking via OPC (HDA and UA) and DDE is

possible as well as the integration of ethernet,

industrial ethernet and many other protocols from

industry.

With ACRON Provider, more than 20 different control

systems can be connected - even in parallel. A variety

of functions ensures optimum performance and

data security, such as data pre-treatment in the work

memory, or three-level cache (TLC).

Precise process planning

With the service/PDCA module (Plan-Do-Check-Act), the creation of all necessary error and alarm reports and their

comprehensive statistics is possible as well as support of the PDCA cycle for the DIN EN ISO 50001.

In the service/PDCA module, operating times, run times and switching cycles are stored, summed up and

transferred into a predictive maintenance. Complete unit histories can be mapped. Simple time and cost

registration rounds off the functions..

Complete report creation

ACRON creates meaningful reports over freely-

selectable time ranges from the process data.

Useful compression algorithms generate continuous

data for daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.

Time variable reports (e.g. for layers) can also be

generated.

Special report types are also taken into account.

So, for example, event or batch reports can be

determined by the start and end-conditions, as is

commonly used in the process and food technology

as well as in discrete manufacturing application.

Additional report and application examples are

available from different sectors.

The form wizard also supports the fast and

comfortable creation of complex reports and reduces

the configuration time by a multiple. Almost all

protocols and calculations are possible.

Comprehensive evaluation

In the ACRON graph module, you have access to

comprehensive and user-friendly diagrams in

curve progressions. Measuring points, minimums/

maximums and other statistical evaluations can be

identified differently by various markers, e.g.:

§ Extensive statistical evaluations

§ Multiple x and y axes, also with time offset

The module enables very fast access to historical or

online data and full analysis.

Effective interaction

In combination with the portal solution June5,

ACRON database information is available on any web

frontends.

JUNE5 provides the end user with reports, graphs

and captured hand values both for the mobile area as

well as on the desktop. The following aspects were

Networked communication

Comprehensive native control system connections,

OPC, DDE, OPC UA, ODBC, ASCII, CSV and many

vendor-specific PLC / DDC protocols are available for

data recording. ACRON data can be accessed through

standard ODBC and OPC DA.

Over 20 direct connections to the HMI/SCADA and

control systems are implemented and constantly

expanded using certified interfaces (atvise, iFIX,

WinCC/PCS7 etc.). Various telecontrol protocols can

be operated via different connections.

Programming of data with the time stamp is a

standard feature in ACRON, making, for example, the

connection to the telecontrol platform ODP (GPRS) or

SINAUT (Siemens) possible without any problems.

Also, all data on the commercial software level is

available on the web service interface (PPS-systems,

SAP, etc.).

Fast access to data

The ACRON Excel Add-Inn enables convenient access

to all data in ACRON for simple and fast programming

of values. Further evaluations embedded in the

MS-Excel® environment are very simple to create.

The query mechanisms are clear and easy to

parameterise. On the JUNE5 interface, large amounts

of data can be made available from ACRON.

Integration + Interfaces

Different language versions (Unicode-based) and the

ability to change the language even within the project

make ACRON suitable for internationally-active plant

and machine engineering.

Cross-industry use

ACRON meets the standardisation, legal

requirements and regulations for a wide

range of industries (e.g. DIN EN ISO 50001,

DWA M260, A216, 21 CFR Part 11, TA, Waste,

EKVO etc.). Of course, an audit trail is

possible.

Due to the high level of flexibility, ACRON

ensures that even individual layouts can be

connected quickly and easily with process
