Namo Guru. On the tenth day of the monkey month of the monkey year, in the central turquoise room at Samye, Guru Rinpoche spoke this prayer while displaying the Vajradhatu Mandala. Thus the king and all subjects (King Trisondetsen and 24 disciples) always retained that sacred experience. The later generation should also one-pointedly practice this prayer.

In front of a crowd of people the great terton Chog Gyur Dechen Lingpa, an emanation of Prince Murub, brought forth this terma from the lower peak of the rock face called Pile of Jewels on the right slope of the sacred place of Sengchen Namdrag (Great Ion Sky Cliff). It was written down in a flowing Tibetan script by the hand of Yeshe Tsogyal on a piece of Lotsawa Vairocana's silken monastic robe. Immediately upon its discovery, it was edited by Padma Garwang Lodro Thaye (Jamgon Kongtrul). May Virtue and Excellent flourish!
