A Father’s Day Prayer
God, our Father
Bless these men,
that they may find strength as fathers.
Let the example of their faith and love shine forth.
Grant that we, their sons and daughters,
may honor them always
with a spirit of profound respect.
Greeting of Peace to Dear parishioners,
A father is one who loves completely, gives quietly, teaches us gently and inspires us deeply. Let us take some time to think about our fathers and pray for them. It may be a little bit late but I like to wish you all a Happy Father’s Day. Let us also pray for all our fathers, real heroes, for their life lessons they have passed or taught us. May God bless and comfort the souls of all the deceased Fathers. I also like to share a good news with you at this time. We just got a new leadership team in our parish. Let us welcome Sr. Maria Ciccarelli, she will be the Parish Life Director of Holy Redeemer. Let us also welcome Fr. Owen Steeves, the new Priest Moderator for Holy Redeemer. We wish them great time and wonderful ministries at Holy Redeemer. This will probably be my last letter to you. I will be handing over my responsibilities on the 15th of July. In this strange situation, we cannot have any gatherings in our parish, which is sad for me. But I would love to see you all and say good bye to you. I will add my words of gratitude in the next bulletin. God bless you all.

From Pastor’s Table
Father Doss’ Farewell After years of hard work and dedication, Father Doss will be moving on from being our faithful pastor on July 15th. Father Doss will be available to meet with the parishioners before the 15th of July.

Father Doss will be at the Church at this time in case you want to see him and say good-bye.
We are happy to tell you that the Archdiocese has increased the allowed number of Mass participants to 50.
There will now be two masses on Sunday: one at 10:00 am and one at 11:30 am. So if anyone wants to either
attend weekday or weekend Masses, please contact the parish office to add your name in the list of participants.

Kid’s Corner
Celebrating First Holy Communion this year looked much different from other years. While some families decided it was best to wait for their children to receive this Sacrament, others felt it was right for them to continue on this path this year. We would like to congratulate the children who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion for the first time! God’s Blessings to Milo, Cecelia, Zak, Leiana, Michalela, Jamila, Liam, Lhundyn, Denekrish and Abrielle. Thank you to Father Doss for celebrating Mass with us during this unique time, personalizing the experience for our small groups of families. We appreciate Mr. John, Ms. Sharon and Ms. Bev providing music for us to prepare our hearts during Mass. Thank you parents for being your child’s first teacher and role model. Thank you for your commitment in showing them God’s love. Thank you to Mrs. Pat for your love of Jesus and your commitment in sharing our faith with these children on their journey preparing to receive Jesus in the Eucharist.

June 28 - The thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time At the beginning of today’s Gospel, Jesus says we cannot love any person more than Jesus, and to follow Jesus, means we must take up our cross. This Gospel reminds us that when we choose to follow Jesus, we might be faced with difficult decisions of doing what is right. We must act in ways that show that we are disciples of Jesus. Jesus does not say it will be easy being disciples of Jesus, but He promises that our life of discipleship will be rewarded. We have many opportunities in our daily life to reach out to others, to be a welcoming presence and a sign of God’s love. Here are a couple of songs to get you up singing and dancing!
