has become the cornerstone.

This is the work of the Lord,

a marvel in our eyes.

Gospel - Matthew 28:1-10

After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women in reply, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.” Then they went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce this to his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”

The Gospel of the Lord. R. Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ.

Celebrant: Pray brothers and sisters that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father. R./ May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy Church.

Prayer over the Gifts

Celebrant: Accept, we ask, O Lord, the prayers of your people with the sacrificial offerings, that what has begun in the paschal mysteries may, by the working of your power, bring us to the healing of eternity. Through Christ our Lord. R./ Amen.

Preface Dialogue

Celebrant: The Lord be with you. R./And with your Spirit. Celebrant: Lift up your hearts. R./ We lift them up to the Lord. Celebrant: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. R./ It is right and just.

Preface It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, at all times to acclaim you, O Lord, but on this night above all to laud you yet more gloriously when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.

For he is the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world; by dying he has destroyed our death, and by rising, restored our life.

Therefore overcome with paschal joy, every land, every people exults in your praise and even the heavenly Powers, with the angelic hosts, sing together the unending hymn of your glory, as they acclaim:

Sanctus - Mass of Creation - Haugen

COMMUNION RITE Celebrant: Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.

R./ Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. Please allow all of our neophytes and candidates to receive Holy Communion first then wait until

an usher directs you to move. When approaching for Holy Communion we ask that you come down the side isle and re enter your pew down the center isle. If you are not comfortable receiving Holy

Communion, then you may offer the Act of Spiritual Communion below and participate in the Communion Hymn on the next page.

Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I long for You in my soul.

Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.

As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to you;

never permit me to be separated from you. Amen. ————————————————————————————————————-

Amen.
