Homecoming-A Magical Night
Homecoming night was a night to remember! On November 22,
this magical night was filled with basketball games, girls dressing
up, and delicious food afterwards. The JV & Varsity boys defeat-
ed City Baptist in the homecoming games. After the game, the
girls that were nominated for homecoming court, Rachel Schnoor,
Kayla Kelding, Dayana Esparza, MonaLisa Casiano, Kimberley
Marchan, Makayla Cortez, Tiarra Ceaser, and Katelyn Landkrohn,
walked the stage with their escorts. Tiffany Ceaser, last year’s
homecoming queen, came back to crown the 2019-2020 new
homecoming queen. Although the votes were close, this year's
homecoming queen
went to Tiarra Ceas-
er, who is the sister
of the previous
homecoming queen.
After the ceremony
was over, the entire
court went out to
steak and shake, and
had tons of fun.
What’s the Tea?
“Enter his gates with Thanksgiving and
his courts with praise; give thanks to
Him and praise his name.”
Psalm 100:4

Birthdays
The Christmas Store!
The Holiday Gift Shop will be from De-
cember 16-19. It is a time when the ele-
mentary students can do their own
Christmas shopping without Mom or
Dad. There will be volunteers available
to guide them in their purchases. The
children enjoy shopping “on their own”
so it can be a surprise for everyone at
home. Price range from $1.00 to $10.00.
There are some really neat gifts this year.
The profit from the gift shop will go to-
wards the teachers’ Christmas bonus.

What do you want for Christmas?
Have you Met Me? — Sarah Dekker
Sarah Dekker is our new student spotlight this month! She came
to Calumet Christian School from Lansing Christian School. Sa-
rah has come to Calumet Christian for her final four years of
high school. She comes from a Christian home and loves church,
chapel, and learning about God as a whole. Her favorite teacher
from CCS is Pastor Clayton because he is
very funny, and always impacts kid’s lives
with Christ while having fun. One thing
that she would change about CCS is having
Bible class more than two days a week. Ad-
justing here has been a breeze for her! Be-
cause of our condensed environment, it
wasn’t hard finding a small group of friends
to call her own.
