I am pleased to welcome you – our alumni and friends – to our Fifth Annual Homecoming Day. In addition to being a day of fun where you can catch up with former classmates and professors, your participation at this event will have a long- reaching effect: The funds raised – through our raffles, auctions and events – will be used to help students further their studies and pursue their goals. On their behalf, I thank you for your generosity and continued support. We hope you enjoy all we have in store for you today including our Haunted House, where you can see many of our students, faculty and staff performing in frightfully funny roles, and the Pumpkin Patch, where you can try to guess the weight of our tremendous pumpkin (top prize includes the pumpkin itself!) or pick up a potted mum for yourself. I also encourage you to attend the Presidential Symposium at the International Hall of Flags at 11:15 am, where you can hear directly from several students and alumni about how Kingsborough has made a difference in their lives. We hope today’s fun-filled experience will persuade you to join us again next year with your family and your friends. Enjoy the day! Dr. Regina S. Peruggi President Welcome
