Constitution Physical make-up: There is no particular constitution for this drug. Persons of any and every constitution are susceptible to this remedy. The patient is however, VERY CHILLY, having SYPHILITIC and PSORIC background and is of irritable temperament. 58. Pathogenesis It acts primarily on nervous system and produces deadlyparalysis of respiratory centers' and various consequent reflex symptoms. It causes much debility and weakness. It also produces inflammation of the skin resulting in ulceration and manifestation of all mucous membranes and gastro-intestinal tract, in addition to vomiting, dysentery etc. 59. Boricum acidum Common name: Boracic acid General characteristics: used as an antiseptic, disinfectant, since it arrests fermentation and puterifaction ; pain in the region of ureters, with a frequent urging to micturate; Diabetes Tongue dry, red & cracked; Cold saliva 85. Contd.. FEMALE: Climacteric flushing; vagina cold as if packed with ice; frequent micturination.
