Welcome to Hope Celebration 2016! We are excited to have you with us; it is a blessing to celebrate God’s faithfulness together. We are inspired as we pause and reflect on all God can do in just one year. He continuously exceeds our hopes and expectations. We are looking forward to so many different opportunities—discovering how God is using OneHope programs to plant churches, leveraging technology through the Bible App for Kids, and learning how to effectively minister to refugees in the Middle East…just to name a few.

We are incredibly thankful to have partners who are just as passionate as we are about advancing the Kingdom and getting God’s Word into the hands of children around the world. And we look forward to how He will use this time to equip us to reach even more children and youth with the Gospel message. This year our theme is “I have decided.” We were inspired by the story of Nicodemus found in John chapters 3 and 7. Nicodemus begins his faith journey hesitant and unsure but emerges a firm believer—even to the point of finding himself assisting in the burial of Jesus.

Each of you has a story with your own “I have decided” moment. We are excited and privileged to share with you other testimonies from your brothers and sisters across the globe who “have decided” to forsake their former lives and follow Jesus.

“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13b-14

KEYNOTE SPEAKERSBob Hoskins

Bob Hoskins has been in ministry since the age of seven, after experiencing God’s clear calling on his life. He has served as a missionary evangelist worldwide in nations throughout Africa, Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. After spending years on the mission field, Bob and Hazel relocated to South Florida and founded the ministry of OneHope in 1987 with the vision to reach every child with God’s Word. Bob and Hazel were blessed with 55 incredible years of marriage before Hazel passed away in June 2015 at the age of 81. They have three children, David, Rob and Kimberly, and eight wonderful grandchildren.

Rob Hoskins

Rob grew up in the Middle East and Europe before settling in South Florida to invest his life in the ministry of OneHope. He has served with OneHope for more than 26 years, and has been President since 2004. Rob serves key global church and political figures as a thought leader, ideator, connector and innovator in all things missions. Rob is an ordained general-appointed missionary of the Assemblies of God. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts. He also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Oral Roberts University. Rob and his wife Kim live near OneHope’s global headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. They have two daughters, Diandra and Natasha, and a son-in-law Matt.

John Maxwell

Dr. John C. Maxwell is an internationally respected leadership expert, speaker, and author who has sold more than 25 million books in 50 languages. Dr. Maxwell is the founder of EQUIP, a non-profit organization that has trained more than 6 million leaders in 185 countries worldwide. A New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Business Week best-selling author, Maxwell has written three books that have sold more than a million copies: The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, Developing the Leader Within You, and The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader. The Bible App for Kids was created in partnership with YouVersion and launched Thanksgiving Day 2013!

Since then, the Bible App for Kids has been downloaded more than 10 million times and in every country of the world.

It’s currently available in 14 languages, and we plan to release 11 new languages in 2016:

• Chinese Traditional• British English• Italian

• Vietnamese• Thai• Hindi

With these new languages more than 513 million MORE children will be able to understand the Bible App for Kids in their own language.

With over 50,000 copies sold, the Bible App for Kids Storybook Bible was released in October 2015. The Bible is currently available in English and Spanish.

2016 FAITH GOAL: 689,000 The Lead Today program was developed in partnership with

John C. Maxwell’s nonprofit leadership organization, EQUIP.

According to OneHope’s ABY research, when asked about

desirable outcomes for their futures, the majority of teens

throughout Africa said “influence in other people’s lives” was

least desirable. Our research also revealed the following

about teens in Ghana:• Approximately 70 percent indicated that they are satisfied or very satisfied with their lives. • Good physical health, a close relationship with God and obtaining a degree were the three areas

that students indicate the strongest desire to have in their futures. • Of least importance to students for their future is the ability to influence the lives of other people.

FRANCOPHONE AFRICAThe Lumière Project is a vision to plant 3,324 new churches in 10 French-speaking African countries in five years using The GodMan film and God’s Big Story. This year, the region has a faith goal to plant 554 churches. Francophone Africa is one of the last places open evangelism efforts can legally take place in predominantly Muslim countries.

GHANAIn 2015 OneHope partnered with the Assemblies of God Ghana to plant churches; 401 churches were planted in the first year! The Assemblies of God Ghana, in partnership with OneHope, is trusting God to plant 700 churches in 2016.

RUSSIAHosanna Plan is a strategy for planting 10,000 churches — at least one in every Russian city, town and village which does not currently have a church by 2020. Using the Book of Hope and The GodMan film, we work with teams to plant churches in rural Russia. We began in 2010 with 11 teams. At that time, there were just 65 evangelical churches in Russia. Today, more than 2,000 churches have been planted! This year we will work with 50 teams to distribute 5,000,000 copies of the Book of Hope and plant even more churches. We are excited to expand our outreach to more than 40 regions of Russia.

2. Pray for God to bring the right people to join the church-planting teams and open the doors to reach new communities

All around the world partners are using The GodMan film, the Book of Hope and God’s Big Story program to intentionally plant new churches in their communities.

Foundations for Farming not only provides opportunities for students to increase in knowledge to help them and their community thrive, but also to actively engage with God’s Word.

More than half of Zimbabwe’s 12.5 million people depend on some form of farming for their livelihood.

IN SOUTH AFRICA:53% believe Jesus did not physically return to life

IN ZAMBIA: 46% of the population is between 0-14 years old

IN ZIMBABWE:60% believe all religions pray to the same God

2016 FAITH GOAL: 135,000*With more than 4 million Syrian refugees and 6.6 million Syrians displaced within their own country, there is an urgent need to engage children and youth with the redemptive narrative of the Gospel.For the first time in four years, we have the opportunity to return to Syria to do ministry. This year we are expanding the film Not Alone to new countries. The film engages Syrian refugee children with a redemptive narrative and exposes them to the truth found in God’s Word. Response to the film has been positive, with viewers saying it is an authentic representation of their experience. The film has been crucial in helping young people understand the character of God and providing vision for hope in their future.

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR SYRIAN REFUGEES:

1. Pray for opportunities to continue to take our refugee film Not Alone to new countries throughout the Middle East

2. Pray for children and youth to experience the hope found in God’s Word

3. Pray for development of strong partnerships on the field

4. Pray for government approval to distribute the Book of Hope in Syria for the first time in many years *(the 2016 faith goal is still pending permit approval)

2016 FAITH GOAL: 6,000,000In Brazil, 30% of the population is under 18. And 77% of all salvations happen between the ages of 4 to 24 years-old. We are equipping the Brazilian church with the Mark Book of Hope to reach children and youth living in a post-modern context.

The Mark Book of Hope gives the Church the opportunity to customize their outreach to the needs of their community and children. The book emphasizes the character of Christ using the complete Gospel of Mark.

The summer 2016 Olympics also presents an exciting outreach opportunity. We will be recruiting one thousand volunteers who will prepare and equip churches to reach young people during the Olympics. The Olympic Outreach program will reach all 92 municipalities of Rio de Janeiro with OneHope Scripture engagement materials.

PRAYER REQUESTS:1. Pray for the lives of children and youth to be transformed by God’s Word

2. Pray for wisdom and boldness for the volunteers who will be equipping churches to participate in the Olympic Outreach program

3. Pray teens will have the opportunity to share their faith with their peers

God exceeded our expectations for Christmas in Asia in 2015, and we can’t wait to see what He will do this year! Last year we were able to reach 2,645,400 children and youth in 17 countries.

Founded by the Green Family, the Museum of the Bible features private collections of biblical objects and artifacts. OPENINGFALL2017

In 2017, Museum of the Bible will open its 430,000-square-foot nonprofit museum in Washington, D.C., located just two blocks from the National Mall and three blocks from the Capitol. As of 2015, our traveling exhibits have visited six U.S. cities and four other countries, with new exhibits and locations continually being planned. We support scholarship and academic research through the MOTB Scholars Initiative and through development of a high school Bible curriculum for domestic and international use.
