Where is hope for the world?
The World is falling apart
• The Federal Reserve is printing Trillions of Dollars
• The economy of the world is in trouble• China and Russia have proposed a one world
currency to replace the dollar.• N. Korea is threatening a nuclear program.• The US Government is taking over Private
businesses.• People in the US are leaving their faith in droves.• More troops are being deployed to Afghanistan.
People want answers!
• People are angry at AIG• People are angry at congress for
allowing this mess• People are worried about their jobs.• People are worried about their
retirement funds.• People are asking questions, and not
liking what they find!
Where is the hope for the world?
• Let’s open up our Bibles and see if we can find hope…

Who’s name?
JESUS!!!

How much trust do you put in Jesus’ name?

How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’erJesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!O for grace to trust Him more!
In what areas should you trust Jesus?
Do you trust him for your salvation?
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Believe with your heart…
Romans 10:9-10
(9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Do you trust him for your daily needs
• Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
By who? What’s that name?
Matthew 6:31-34(31) Therefore take no thought, saying,
What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
(33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
(34) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
Do you trust him for the answers to your daily problems
1 Peter 5:6-7
(6) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
(7) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Matthew 11:28-30
(28) Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
(30) For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.
How will the Gentiles (Nations) know there is hope in his name?
• WE have to tell them…
• WE know the truth…
• WE have to be willing to share the truth…
WE have to start speaking up!
Speak UP!
• “But I don’t want to get involved”• “I’m too busy in my life”• “I have to worry about my family”• “That’s not me”
• How’s the world going to know about Jesus unless we tell them?
What is better than telling them?
Showing them!
Hope and Trust are what we need in this world?
But many are trusting the wrong things

People need to understand that Trusting in Christ is the only way
to true hope.
sooo… I have an assignment for you.
Go out and do something to honor Jesus this week.
• Do something “IN HIS NAME”• Give a dollar to a child.• Hold a door open and smile.• Go visit someone.• Talk about Jesus.• Pay for someone’s meal.• Bow your head in a restaurant.• If you see a need, meet it.
• But don’t do it without giving Jesus the credit for it..
This way the world around you will know that….
