HOW DID YOU ATTRACT YOUR AUDIENCE?

FRONT COVER-MASTHEADI decided to keep my front cover

simple and called my magazine BASE, I thought this was an interesting title,

it stands out and it bold, this masthead mainly aims towards

upbeat music for example pop, hip hop and R&B.

FRONT COVER-MAIN IMAGE

My front cover image is bright and has a happy look

to it, I’ve used natural colours for my background so that it looks summery, this image is a statement and stands out

on the page.

FRONT COVER-OVERALL LAYOUTI have used lots of bright colours as well as my bright image of my model on the background, my contents page includes a lot of red colouring so added this colour on the front cover to so that the house style is consistent. I have also used other colours like the aqua colour for the artists name at the bottom so that it stands out. Overall I think the layout works, everything is spaced apart correctly and all the colours fit together.

CONTENTS PAGE-OVERALL

I have a very consistent colour scheme on my contents page I have used only grey black and red and also made my images black and white, I think this looks very professional and clean and due to the red colour added to my front cover it is all consistent.

CONTENTS PAGE-TITLE I have incorporated my title in with my contents page logo, I have used the same colour and text type so it fits together and looks professional, the colours match the same colours on the contents page. The word content is in bold so that the reader can see that they are on the contents page

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD-OVERALL My double page spread links very well with my contents page and shows my consistent house style, the letter ‘P’ in red is an idea I got from the magazine billboard I think it looks very unique and adds some colour and brightness to the page. My text is in question answer form and the artist directs the reader throughout to make them feel part of the conversation which keeps the reader interested.
