FOr tHe eduCatiOn-tO-CareerS prOgramStudents must complete an application packet and submit it to the Temporary Application Site by December 19, 2008. Requirements include:n interest in Radio/TV Broadcasting,

Information Technology and/or the Medical Academy

n Stanine 5 in reading and math on the ISAT (7th grade)

n Written essay related to career track or general statement

n 95%+ attendance rate during 7th grade school year

n recommendation from a counselor or teacher

n a record of good or excellent behavior

n good academic standing for the 1st quarter of 8th grade year

Selective enrollment program OfferingsStudents will be exposed to a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that includes Advanced Placement options as early as freshmen year, four years of Spanish or Mandarin and an Accelerated Math Program for students who wish to take five or more years of Math.

education-to-Careers program OfferingsStudents will be exposed to curriculum in their career fields as early as freshmen year. Students will be immersed in their career fields throughout the four years of high school, including field experiences during their senior year. Simultaneously, students will be completing a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.
