“HOW GOD FORGIVE US”

Genesis 50:15-2115 Mula nang mamatay ang kanilang ama, nag-alala na ang mga kapatid ni Jose. Sabi nila, “Paano kung galit pa sa atin si Jose at gantihan tayo sa kalupitang ginawa natin sa kanya?”

15 After the death of their father, Joseph's brothers said, “What if Joseph still hates us and plans to pay us back for all the harm we did to him?”

Genesis 50:15-2116 Nagpasugo sila kay Jose at ipinasabi ang ganito: “Bago namatay ang ating ama, ipinagbilin niya na sabihin ito sa iyo,

16 So they sent a message to Joseph: “Before our father died,

Genesis 50:15-2117 ‘Nakikiusap ako na patawarin mo na ang iyong mga kapatid sa ginawa nila sa iyo.’ Kaya naman ngayon, namamanhik kami sa iyo na patawarin mo na kami alang-alang sa Diyos ng ating ama.” Napaiyak si Jose nang marinig ito.

17 he told us to ask you, ‘Please forgive the crime your brothers committed when they wronged you.’ Now please forgive us the wrong that we, the servants of your father's God, have done.” Joseph cried when he received this message.

Genesis 50:15-2118 Lumapit lahat ang kanyang mga kapatid at yumuko sa harapan niya. “Kami'y mga alipin mo,” wika nila.

18 Then his brothers themselves came and bowed down before him. “Here we are before you as your slaves,” they said.

Genesis 50:15-2119 Ngunit sinabi ni Jose, “Huwag kayong matakot, hindi ko kayo paghihigantihan!

19 But Joseph said to them, “Don't be afraid; I can't put myself in the place of God.

20 You plotted evil against me, but God turned it into good, in order to preserve the lives of many people who are alive today because of what happened.

21 You have nothing to fear. I will take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them with kind words that touched their hearts.

5 One time Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him even more. 6 He said, “Listen to the dream I had.

Genesis 37:5-117 na tayo ay nasa bukid at nagbibigkis ng trigo. Tumayo ang aking binigkis at yumukod sa paligid nito ang inyong mga binigkis.”

7 We were all in the field tying up sheaves of wheat, when my sheaf got up and stood up straight. Yours formed a circle round mine and bowed down to it.”

Genesis 37:5-118 “Ano! Ang ibig mo bang sabihin ay maghahari ka sa amin?” tanong nila. At lalo silang nagalit kay Jose.

8 “Do you think you are going to be a king and rule over us?” his brothers asked. So they hated him even more because of his dreams and because of what he said about them.

Genesis 37:5-119 Nanaginip muli si Jose at isinalaysay sa kanyang mga kapatid: “Nakita ko sa aking panaginip na ang araw, ang buwan at labing-isang bituin ay yumukod sa aking harapan.”

9 Then Joseph had another dream and said to his brothers, “I had another dream, in which I saw the sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowing down to me.”

Genesis 37:5-1110 Sinabi rin niya ito sa kanyang ama, at ito'y nagalit din sa kanya.“Anong ibig mong sabihin?” tanong ng ama. “Kami ng iyong ina't mga kapatid ay yuyukod sa harapan mo?”

10 He also told the dream to his father, and his father scolded him: “What kind of a dream is that? Do you think that your mother, your brothers, and I are going to come and bow down to you?”

Genesis 37:5-1111 Inggit na inggit kay Jose ang kanyang mga kapatid; hindi naman ito maubos-maisip ng kaniyang ama.

11 Joseph's brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept thinking about the whole matter.

Genesis 37:18-2418 Malayo pa'y natanaw na siya ng mga ito. Nagkaisa silang patayin siya. 19 Sinabi nila, “Ayan na ang mapanaginipin!

18They saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted against him and decided to kill him.19They said to one another, “Here comes that dreamer.

Genesis 37:18-2420 Patayin natin siya at ihulog sa balon, at sabihing sinila ng mabangis na hayop. Tingnan natin kung ano ang mangyayari sa kanyang mga panaginip.”

20 Come on now, let's kill him and throw his body into one of the dry wells. We can say that a wild animal killed him. Then we will see what becomes of his dreams.”

Genesis 37:18-2421 Narinig ito ni Ruben at binalak niyang iligtas si Jose. Sabi niya, “Huwag, huwag nating patayin.

21 Reuben heard them and tried to save Joseph. “Let's not kill him,” he said.

Genesis 37:18-2422 Huwag natin siyang pagbuhatan ng kamay; ihulog na lamang natin sa balon.” Sinabi niya ito, sapagkat ang balak niya ay iligtas ang kapatid.

22 “Just throw him into this well in the wilderness, but don't hurt him.” He said this, planning to save him from them and send him back to his father.

Genesis 37:18-2423 Paglapit ni Jose, hinubdan nila ito 24 at inihulog sa isang tuyong balon.

23 When Joseph came up to his brothers, they ripped off his long robe with full sleeves. 24 Then they took him and threw him into the well, which was dry.

Genesis 50:1515 Mula nang mamatay ang kanilang ama, nag-alala na ang mga kapatid ni Jose. Sabi nila, “Paano kung galit pa sa atin si Jose at gantihan tayo sa kalupitang ginawa natin sa kanya?”

8 So it was not really you who sent me here, but God. He has made me the king's highest official. I am in charge of his whole country; I am the ruler of all Egypt.

Genesis 50:1717 ‘Nakikiusap ako na patawarin mo na ang iyong mga kapatid sa ginawa nila sa iyo.’ Kaya naman ngayon, namamanhik kami sa iyo na patawarin mo na kami alang-alang sa Diyos ng ating ama.” Napaiyak si Jose nang marinig ito.

17 he told us to ask you, ‘Please forgive the crime your brothers committed when they wronged you.’ Now please forgive us the wrong that we, the servants of your father's God, have done.” Joseph cried when he received this message.

Proverbs 10:1212 Sari-saring kaguluhan ang bunga ng kapootan, ngunit ang pag-ibig ay nagpapaumanhin sa lahat ng kasalanan.

12 Hate stirs up trouble, but love forgives all offences.

1 John 3:1616 Dito natin nakikilala ang tunay na pag-ibig: inialay ni Cristo ang kanyang buhay dahil sa atin. Dapat din nating ialay ang ating buhay dahil sa mga kapatid.

16 This is how we know what love is: Christ gave his life for us. We too, then, ought to give our lives for others!

1 Peter 4:88 Higit sa lahat, magmahalan kayo nang tapat, sapagkat ang pagmamahal ay pumapawi ng maraming kasalanan.

8 Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins.

Romans 8:2828 Alam nating sa lahat ng bagay ang Diyos ay gumagawang kasama ang mga nagmamahal sa kanya, ang mga tinawag ayon sa kanyang panukala, sa kanilang ikabubuti.

28 We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.
