Senior Independence is a non-profit, home health and hospice agency.

Our goal is to provide seniors the help they require and the confidence they need to stay at home.

Fulfilling life-enhancing wishes

No one should die alone.

Vigil Volunteers offer a quiet, comforting presence at the bedside of dying patients. They also provide comfort, reassurance and support to family members at their time of need.

Volunteers can work alongside the hospice chaplain and provide spiritual support to patients and families in relation to issues of grief, loss, and the dying process.

We need your help in the office, too!

Volunteering helps you make new friends and contacts and increases your social and relationship skills.

Volunteering increases self-confidence. Volunteering combats depression. Volunteering helps you stay physically healthy. Volunteering can provide career experience and

teach you valuable job skills
